Coronavirus in Poland

Social changes goes hand in hard with economic ones.

that's what I've just said....

this isn't so much a grand conspiracy as a lucky break (for those wanting the changes involved)

the problem is that governments wouldn't even be trying this if populations weren't demanding it, it's not a case of righteous people being manipulated by sinister forces - it's less and more unsettling at the same time

the idea of governments no longer providing services like police and education have broad support across the political spectrum (most people are just too dim to realize the consequences).

people (esp in the US and probably UK) who want these changes are going along with the agenda without even wondering why...

his isn't so much a grand conspiracy as a lucky break

First lets disarm the term "conspiracy"

"Conspiracy: a secret agreement made between two or more people or groups to do something bad or illegal that will harm someone else"

And now answer yourself two questions:

1) Are you fully informed about all crucial decisions and agreements being made in political cabinets, international organizations and NGO offices?

2) Does some of those changes harm you in any way (including economic harm and/or limitations of your civil liberties)?

If you said 'no' to the 1st question and 'yes' to the 2nd question, congratulations, you are a conspiracy theorist :-)

Yes, the current situation is partially a result of a lucky break: the public didn't 'buy' swine flu or bird flu but now they are fully hooked on corona flu.

But the whole social changes were initiated since at least the late 60s (The long march through the institutions). It takes time to metodically demoralize the whole society.

"conspiracy"

It's not a conspiracy, it's an agenda. The one percent have a very different agenda than do the rest of us and they pursue it when and how they can, opportunistically. They're far too depraved and stupid to be able to really plan things.

Paying attention quickly reveals the absolute stupidity and fecklessness of the mega rich (basic evolution - they never suffer for their mistakes and they never learn and their children grow stupider and more feckless with each generation). They couldn't plan a stampede in a pen full of buffalo and a pocket full of firecrackers.

The forces behind corona dystopia come as much from the public as from the elite (more's the pity).

Thanks for the numbers Mafketis

Can we keep it coronavirus and take the gay marriage stuff to random or one of the other threads ?

With regards to personal liberty that is one if the things that has shocked me - the willingness with which people accepted this radical curtailment of their liberty and extra police powers, no questions asked. That is something far more dangerous than the virus and makes me think a lot about other decisions in my life - where to keep emergency money, whether health insurance is worth it, whether to stockpile food etc.

What's even weirder it's hat some of the places with the strongest desire to lock up their citizens are ones that have been very free so far - Australia, NZ, France etc

Probably that's why. They trust their government not to abuse it.

I'm assuming it will be moved to random.

- the willingness with which people accepted this radical curtailment of their liberty and extra police powers, no questions asked

That's what I meant when I wrote that governments wouldn't be doing this if the populations weren't asking for it....

have been very free so far - Australia, NZ, Franc

I don't know about France but as a group English speaking countries have not responded that well - Polish people had had enough by Easter and were completely done with it by the May holidays. In the US apparently you still have people afraid to leave their house... and Australia and NZ flirting with authoritarian measures.

As I've written before cultures like Poland don't like uncertainty but are okay with calculated risks - English speaking countries are the opposite - they don't mind uncertainty and novelty but _hate_ known risk.

Today's numbers for Poland

Fatalities (daily total) 13, age range 56-94, average age 75

Hospitalizations (running total) -89 = 2090

Ventilators in use, +2 = 77

Cured (daily total) 2526 which is 445 % the number of discovered cases...

Ratio of cured to fatalities (daily) there were 194 times more cured cases than fatalities.

fourth day in a row with more cured than new cases.... the very high number of 'cured' cases certainly is more about the shortened quarantine than anything else (I have no special opinion on the government's new metrics.... does anyone?)

In a modern welfare state the society is treated like a cattle - the State 'gives' food and shelter and in turn demands obedience - this leads to a point when most people would develop a mentality of a cattle.

And they'll teach their kids the same.

Are you saying that the Socialist governments have dumbed down their societies for obedience ?
Does that mean that you will or will not be the first in line for the experimental Corona virus vaccine that may do nothing at all or may mutate the virus and kill you next year ?
Spike31 3 | 1,813

@johnny reb

For obedience and learned helplessness.

And the biggest achievement of socialist governments around the world is convincing the masses that the Welfare State gives them something for free. And they wouldn't be able to survive without the omnipotent state.

While in fact it is all directly sponsored by them with their taxed labour.

It's unbelievable and disturbing but great many people don't see that connection.

Poland is doing very well comparatively.
PARIS - Cases of coronavirus are spiking in France, Spain and the United Kingdom even as social distancing restrictions ease, stoking concerns among doctors and policymakers about a "second wave" in countries still reeling from the pandemic's first wave.
Spike31 3 | 1,813
7 Sep 2020 #3,104
"Deadly pandemic" which has killed 2000 people in a 38 000 000 country (of which only under 300 died because of corona and not other diseases combined with the virus).

The "preventive measures" has swallowed ~100 000 000 000 PLN so far in terms of the economic damage.

And just because most other European countries are run and inhabited by bigger morons who destroyed their economy and civil liberties even more doesn't justify us.

If only stupidity hurt as bad as toothache...

Spike you are spot on again.
The Director of the CDC has come out and bluntly stated that there have been far more deaths from suicides and drug overdoses than from the COVID Virus.

The leftist media will no doubt claim the CDC is wrong.
The social media firms will scrub any mention that this COVID has been a hoax.
These people from Jeff Zucker the head of CNN to Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum are allegedly responsible for the rising death toll from destroying everyone's future.

Lets get on with our lives and forget this useless "Today's numbers in Poland are" fear mongering.
Just wait until they make it mandatory that EVERYONE get booted up with this god knows what is in it money making vaccine for Bill Gates and friends.

As the world braces for the 2nd wave of the China virus, experts predict more infections, fewer deaths.
This is because the older generation is stay home more and the doctors know better now how to treat it.
With this good news it may put our forum crier out of a job.

Nothing we can do about what HAS happened but god forbid what is about to happen with the vaccine.
Funded by Bill Gates, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) researchers have developed a clandestine way to record your vaccination history by storing the data in a pattern of dye or tattoo ink, invisible to the naked eye, that is slipped under the skin hidden in your vaccine.

"This technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated.
The Liberals will welcome another freedom loss of our choice and privacy of what's being injected into our bodies.

johnny reb - forget this useless "Today's numbers in Poland are" fear mongering.

You are lucky that someone like mafketis is actually taking the trouble to keep people informed with information that is not easily accessed on TV etc and who wants to spend time on the internet trying to find these facts.....we should be thanking mafketis not making random personal comments....yes we should try to get on with our lives but be very careful about how we conduct them....if you want to mix with lots of other people in close proximity then fine but for most people I think they are genuinely concerned and will continue to listen to the facts....

I'll take the Bait

You are lucky t

I guess I should count my blessings to have the daily forum crier tell me to panic when we should be praying.
He already gave us the site to this information to access if we personally care about these statistics.

but for most people will continue to listen to the facts....

I beg to differ as people here may at best look at these statistics once a week at best and most not at all.
He is correct on his point that my inability to tolerate other people repetitiousness that puts me to sleep is quite remarkable.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention as I must pray for more patience.
Now for some real news on the vaccine.
AstraZeneca PLC said Tuesday it paused clinical trials of an experimental Covid-19 vaccine after a human guinea pig in a U.K. study had an unexplained illness.

Or how about how about the new data out Tuesday that shows more than 500,000 children have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic started, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

How many children in Poland have tested positive ?
Now that would be some news 'most' might be interested in.

Oh p*as off. Don't like it- don't read it.

Oh go shout your orders someplace else Ms. Hypocrite.
Who the hell do you think you are ?

Once this virus is over we will all have to wear our masks backwards for two months to get our ears back to a normal position.

Do ya'll remember when these meaningless statistics first came out.
In February, US Covid guru Anthony Fauci predicted the virus was a kin to a severe flu and would therefore kill around 0.1 percent of people.

Then fatality rate predictions were somehow mixed up to make it look ten times WORSE.
When you strip everything else out, the reason for lockdown comes from a single figure: one percent.
This was the prediction that Covid, if left unchecked, would kill around one percent of us.
You may not think that percentage is enormous, but one percent of the population of the world is 70 million people and that's a lot.

It would mean 3.2 million Americans dead, and 670,000 Britons.
But where did this one percent figure come from?
You may find this hard to believe, but this figure emerged by mistake.
A pretty major thing to make a mistake about, but that's what happened.

The new vaccine isn't the typical "put a bit of a dead virus in your body so it can develop an immune response." It's an RNA vaccine meaning that when it's injected it alters your DNA and instructs it to create proteins to fight off ideally a future covid infection. So it's no surprise that some dude got real sick.

We've shut down entire countries, ruined economies, put tens if not hundreds of millions out of work all around the world, forced everyone to wear muzzles in public, and now forcing people like healthcare professionals and likely eventually children to take a rushed and unproven RNA style vaccine all because people might get the flu...

Irelands new Corona restrictions.
Pubs that serve food have been allowed to open since the end of June.
But new restrictions require that customers have a "substantial meal" costing at least 9 euros (about $10.60) if they also purchase alcohol.
The rules also require patrons to leave within an hour and 45 minutes hence a timer is used at the patrons table.
Like many countries across Europe, Ireland has seen a spike in coronavirus cases in recent weeks, with daily cases moving from the single digits during a lull in new infections during June and July to 307 new cases announced on Tuesday.

I thought the Irish got annoyed when people make jokes about them being daft and drinking (Sorry Atch)

This is a 9 euro entrance fee to a 105 minute drinking competition.

Either the pub is safe or it's not !

Next thing they will force you to take a picture of your empty plate to prove you were eating

Restaurants here are kind of getting back to normal - today for the first time I'm going to an indoor one for fun

You laugh but they almost went this far. Last week saying that the restaurant/bar needed to keep on record what each person had consumed. irishexaminer.com/business/economy/arid-40042814.html

Most cases over last few weeks were from factories which brought in local lock downs in a couple of places.

Number of active cases (new metric running total) 12,665

Hospitalizations (running total) - 146 = 1924 (first time under 2000 since.... August 11)

Ventilators in use, + 3 = 84

Number tested (daily total) = 18,600

Cured (daily total) 934 which is 190 % the number of discovered cases..

Ratio of cured to fatalities (daily) there were 80 times more cured cases than fatalities.

Does Poland have a track & trace App in place?

Most likely a chip will be included free in the same virus vaccine that will become "mandatory" so we know if all the children have had the 65 vaccines that they are suggested to have before they are ten years old. (and each of those vaccines contains mercury)

Who would ever know before it is to late.
The cure is sometimes worse than the curse.
