EU confirms it will take action against Poland over court reforms

Using that logic,

Give up Witless. You wouldn't recognize logic if you would have stumbled over it. As for your personal digs - its only betrays not only your immaturity but also lack of creativity.

what the Polish opposition politicians say in the European Parliament against the Polish government

If they vote against interest of the country as some of them did, it is without a doubt a treason and a further illustration what a disgusting soviet rags those people are. They should be punished! Because that is what they deserve.

You're excused due to your stupidity. You actually didn't understand context of my post. I made a distinction between expressing one opinion and inciting to violence or as the case might be, to overthrow a democratically elected government outside a ballot box.

Politicians should be held to higher standard and if they break the law and if they do their upmost to destabilize the country they should be punished too.

If you can tell the difference between being in opposition, legitimate differences in opinions, views and treasonous dangerous games you must be dumb beyond repair.

codex laws can be done away with instead jugdes can pass just verdicts

Ok duck is safely in the oven - so.........do away with it and replace it with what? Verdicts cannot simply be passed, they have to be passed basedon something and that something is the law. What you're proposing is closer to anarchy than democracy.

If they vote against interest of the country as some of them did

Who decides what is against the interests of the country and what is not? The ruling party in Poland?

Technically the party leader, that's the PRL way.

Verdicts cannot simply be passed, they have to be passed basedon something

Verdicts will be passed according to the correct political line of the party leader, comrade! A majority of Poles support the party leader's party line.

Well yes they were democratically elected by polish citizens that's how it works

The Polish constitution says otherwise, which is why PIS ignore the constitution whenever that suits them.

A majority of Poles support the party leader's party line.

Oh yes, I remember it pretty well from the epoch which at present is referred to as 'one that rightfully passed away (epoka słusznie miniona)'.

The fetish of those who are "democratically elected by polish citizens" begins to gain an ever bigger momentum on this forum.

Shall I remind you what you have been saying so far on PO who were also people ''democratically elected by polish citizens'?

Who decides what is against the interests of the country and what is n

Reality and facts. If Polish MEPs engage in acts that are harmful to Poland that is a treason. It is self - evident!.

If representatives in Poland act in a way that is harmful to Poland they want to destabilize the country, it is an act of treason. There are legitimate way of removing Pis from power - namely an election. If someone is looking for illegitimate ways to overthrown legal gov in Poland - that is a treason and those involved should be punished.

In Germany such a behavior and action wouldn't be tolerated - those people would be gazed, put in jail and got hefty fines. MPs would lose their seats.

In USA where there is greater freedom reperstaitives who would act in a way a total opposition acted would be out in time and their political life finished for ever.

The ruling party in Poland?

the people according to polls about 47% consider that those MEPs are traitors, only about 20% thinks they are not.

Shall I remind you what you have been saying so far on PO who were also people ''democratically elected by polish citizens'?

Sure - like how I credited PO for maintaining economic growth while they were in charge? How I said both PiS and PO have their pro's and con's and I don't agree with everything PiS does? Or how about when I said that even though PO is viewed as the more 'left' party in Poland they nonetheless promote many traditional conservative things and the majority of PO supporters (according to CBOS) are against migrants, gay marriage, etc.?

I think there's a resurgence of anti-genitlism because at this point in time Poland has learned to not accept multiculturalism. And I know that we are going to be throwing out the trans-national elements tainting a wonderful diverse ethnostate that must never take a Trojan horse. Poland is going to stay the monolithic society it once was last millennium. Gentiles are going to be at the center of that. It's a wise decision for Poland to make. They'll always stay in a low rape mode and gentiles are going to be at the center of the border enforcement and gentiles will be resented because their role in securing a future for white children and will preserve the beauty of the white woman and not let it perish from the earth. -Barbara Ethnopurestein

their political life finished for ever.

Poles have a loooong memory. They're not the types to let bygones be bygones. They'll remember these MEPs treason forever. Same with PO's when they kowtowed to the EU against the wishes of the majority of the Polish citizens. They've NEVER recovered since then and won't for years and years. Their popularity has been at a low for months this year - they're averaging 1/3 to 1/2 of PiS support according to CBOS, thenews, even wyborcza, etc.

PiS screwed up a few times like by trying to pass the abortion ban and perhaps changing the courts too fast. They corrected course and Polish citizens appreciated that. PO did NOT do that. They stuck by the migrant quotas despite all the protests and majority of PL citizens being against it. They didn't apologize for the tapes and whenever the society was against something PO was doing (often bc they were told by their EU handlers what to do) and PL citizens were against it they passed it anyway. Poles view PiS as the party that fights for Poland and Polish citizens PO is viewed as friends of globalists, EU, Zionists, MNC's, etc. Poles don't trust PO. Yes, the economy grew under their watch but the average Pole didn't see a significant rise in their income. The educated and younger generations perhaps, but most youth especially young males are firmly in PiS/Kukiz and right wing nationalistic camp.

anti-genitlism because at this point in time Poland has learned to not accept multiculturalism

Yup. But Poles won't be cucked. Our religion, our identity, our country is more important to us than anything else. Nov 11 every year proves that, Christ being official King of Poland proves that, PiS being the most popular party proves that. We don't have gay marriage, we are against being an immigrant society, and we aim to keep the country homogenous, conservative, and traditional. That's why the EU, their Zionist partners, the globalists, Merkel, etc. hate our resistance so much. It's not that Poland is resisting - but it's the symbolism which shows other countries can resist the EU too! Certainly that is happening with right wing governments being elected all over Eastern Europe. Heck even in Germany AfD kicked major ass. Poland, Czechy, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria all have anti-migrant EU-skeptic parties in charge. We're not going to allow the EU to change our society by force. Trump came to Poland asking if we have the will to fight for our civilization and society - and we Poles, we V4 partners do. We will not allow them to push Islamic terrorism into our borders, put our women in danger of being raped, and ask tax payers to foot the bill for economic migrants' housing, food, and allowance. Screw that. Polska dla Polakow - dla przekretow I bydlakow!!

Oh vey!! The goyim know! Shut it down, shut it down!!!!
No more Soros NGO's in Poland and Hungary trying to subvert the institutions and society...

But Poles won't be cucked.

If you live here for even a year or two you'll learn how exactly untrue that claim is.

Polska dla Polakow

Always amusing to hear that when the reverse is so blatantly untrue.

put our women in danger of being raped

Don't worry about it, that Polish band will be deported from your country after serving their sentences, just as far too many Polish priests are. Which is a pity for those of use in Poland, but at least we know that the EU won't send other Polish criminals back to us, not even when they do thing such as stomping their partner to death or burying their partner alive.

UNLIKE you 'WE' have citizenship. In the eyes of our constitution and democratic system, the tens of millions of Polish voters and citizens, like myself, have a higher stake in the country. Polish people can wipe their collective butt with the taxes from your 20 zloty an hour 'native english' tutoring.

Always amusing to hear that when the reverse is so blatantly untrue.

Right Harry, November 11 proves otherwise. Along with PiS being in charge, our laws and constitution, Polish traditions, culture, worldview, CBOS statistics, etc etc etc etc,

It is just so unfortunate that Poles, who lived lives of civilized people even much before Greeks, Romans or Egyptians, now receiving lectures from people that in past, by ancestors of today`s Poles was known as mute people- that is again, ironically and erroneously, deviating from right path, itself offspring of same Polish ancestors. But, we Sarmats shall arise and walk free again. Errors shall be corrected.

'WE'

Dirk, no offense. If you said, "we Poles" or "Poland" then your tone wouldn't sound so patronising. "We" suggests that you are a Polish inhabitant, whilst actually at the moment you are one of the diaspora. Our problems are not your problems, no matter how you dress it up.

In a true democracy Polonia wouldn't have the vote; it's simply the way historically for successive Polish governments to try to buy the patriotic dollar donations from people of Polish descent. As for crowing over the rights and wrongs of this PIS gang, didn't your mother ever tell you that pride comes before a fall?

As for crowing over the rights and wrongs of this PIS gang, didn't your mother ever tell you that pride comes before a fall?

Indeed. May I remind Adrian that in 2001, the SLD were unstoppable - Kwaśniewski was re-elected President in the first round, the SLD won 41% of the vote with the next party (PO) with only 12.7%, and the map of Poland was almost totally red. 14 years later, their Presidential candidate got 2.38% and they failed to reach the threshold in the Parliamentary elections.

A student of Polish politics knows better than to boast about current polls.

that in 2001

16 years ago...before even EU entry...

Yes, yes we do.

Dougpol just said that he doesn't in an earlier thread

Also, if I remember correctly you also stated that you are a EU resident but not PL citizen (like jon and I discussed in the past) and hence can participate in local elections.

Regardless, great, now you can vote for changes. As a voter in a democratic society, you must then respect the wishes of the majority of voters. If you disagree with the party in charge, fine. Nonetheless, that is the people Polish voters chose. Furthermore, even as a voter, you cannot change the society, culture, traditions, etc. of the nation. That is up to its people to carry it on and something the Polish people have very dear to them due to their history.

You're right. That's why I boast of the regular polls, the 2015 election, the healthy economy, the 500 zl program, the Nov 11 march, flipping the bird to the EU, the governments video driving the point to all of Europe and the rest of the world that they were right about defying the EU with migrants, AND the fact that CBOS, other stats agencies, AND LASTLY even media show what Polish society, Polish people, the Polish nation wants - and it is not multiculturalism and their Christian Polish society to be threatened...i.e. the things related to this thread

16 years ago...before even EU entry...

pnb.pl/clientarea/polish-news-bulletin-daily/310728-komorowski_kalisz_sikorski_top_approval.html

4 years ago. I wonder who the hell trusted Kalisz, but the fact remains that opinions can change very very quickly in Polish politics. Solidarność were flying high in 1989, let by 1993, Poland was ruled by post-communists.

Polish voters are incredibly fickle, and even in 2011, Twój Ruch were elected on the back of a massive youth vote. People were speculating then that young people were abandoning the stuffy old parties, yet they flipped to vote for right wing parties in 2015. So, as I said, don't be too cocky about it.

Furthermore, even as a voter, you cannot change the society, culture, traditions, etc. of the nation.

I can. As a Polish citizen, I have the right to join legal groups that want to do just that. I'm free to run for political office too, and to work within that office to change society, culture, traditions, etc.

Things will change back the other way in Poland, and by cheerleading the current reforms, you're opening yourself up to an attack on yourself and your property by a vengeful future government that uses the same arguments as you're using today, according to your own words - As a voter in a democratic society, you must then respect the wishes of the majority of voters..

Government controlled propoganda media, which absolutely nobody with any sense in the Tri-City watches (I asked them). TVP is even worse than Scum Murdoch and the ridiculous Sky in the UK, which, no-one who knows, would think possible.

Do enlighten us then Dirk, as this is central to your argument of "We". What tax might that be? Land tax/inheritance tax?
