Don't let Poland become like my country, France.

the difference is that Poland handled the transition from communism to capitalism much better than Hungary did.

Hungarians are not Slavs. They belong to the turko-finnish branh being the middle. So they have some turkish elements of corruption which can be lethal if they do not control other regions like Sovakia,Romania to exploit them like they did during Austrohungary.Hungary can be successful only as a Greater Hungary.

Worst of all , we don't even have the educated , secular , smart turkish citizens...

Just wondering though but i would like you to set the record straight here, as much as you're angry with the way your government is dealing with immigration in your country what have you done yourself as an individual to welcome or at least to try to know the new arrivals. How do you know that you don't have educated, secular, smart turkish citizens in France? Do you even know who is turkish or not or do they all look the same to you coz they all look somewhat arabic?

You can spit in my face, say that i'm a fool...an insane deluded moron...

I salute you for your honesty, and being able to recognize reality.

The USA is already a multi-cultural cesspool.

These policies were put in place by the most traitorous politicians.

Immigration, in a reasonable amount, can act as a stimulus to both the economy and the culture...It is always interesting to sample the music, food and other cultural offshoots of a foreign people...When the immigration is in a reasonable amount, you will find the immigrants assimilating into the host society, yet lending their own flavor to the pot.

In numbers like France, Germany, the UK and the US is experiencing, you have a dislocation of the home culture, and the resulting chaos.

I tell immigrants to the US straight up that, although they may be nice people individually, we don't need them here...They come to the West for money, nothing more...Most should have stayed in Mogadishu, Lagos, Dakar, santo Domingo and tried to make their own countries better...However, their home countries are run by corrupt satraps, so they come here and bring the culture of corruption with them...But, as i say, Western politicians have allowed this, and the general Western population has lost all connection with our own traditions, and bought full scale into the 'consumerist' mentality, so the result is the cesspool.

Well ,Kraut Americans only got really insulted with WWI not that much after WWII.

Yet, the effect of WWII was instrumental in the disappearance of New York City's Germantown. My background is Polish and German. My mother spoke Polish, my Dad spoke German. He was the leader of a band at The Lorelei, a German nightclub in Yorkville where I was immersed in Eastern European culture, particularly German. There is hardly a trace of this community now.

uppereast.com/germantown

"The heyday of Germantown was from the 1930s-1960s when the streets were filled with the sound of the German language spoken by Eastern European/Prussian immigrants from Hungary, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Russia. An abundance of newspapers, societies, sports clubs, shops, restaurants, movie theatres, bakeries grew to accommodate this diverse gathering of Europeans....

....what really signified the beginning of the end of Germantown was the tearing down of the 2nd and 3rd Avenue elevated lines. Slowly, the developers moved in and the factories and brownstones under the tracks were torn down to be replaced by large apartment buildings.

This, combined with anti-German sentiment due to WWII, was one of the many things that caused the Yorkville Germans to Anglicize their names and begin to assimilate into U.S. society."

Well if you look at the population of New York and then New York City there is 1-2 million Jews there now.
Second highest population after Tel Aviv.
Maybe this huge influx of the above people has something to do with this.

Keep in mind USA has ~60 million people of German(ic) ancestory. Only 10 million of Polish. And 6.5 million of Jews. And who has the most power from them (should be easy to answer).

I no longer live in the New York City area, so I am not sure if the Jewish influx you speak of is from Israel-born Jews. When I was growing up we were very familiar with Jewish people from Europe. I loved growing up with foods from all over the world. :-)

Jews do hold a lot of power, but the demise of Yorkville, had little to do with Jewish people unless they were the ones tearing down the elevated train lines and building the new high rises. And if so, it was collateral damage to the goal of making money.

My post was directed at several posters who felt that Germans got off lightly in the USA, and really only experienced pressure because of WWI. (Not much as a result of WWII). But actually, they experienced trouble after WWII, and that made them assimilate into the general population. Another poster, I forget which one at the moment made the point that maybe in countries like Germany and Poland in the future, the numbers of immigrants could be controlled more and some pressure to assimilate. It seemed to work well here in the States for a time till now we have a situation more like Germany has with Turks. It is such a complicated situation. People have always moved around and went to the places where they had the best opportunities. I would like that to continue, but in a way that adds to the existing culture without destroying it.

How many generation past since migration of them from Europe to USA?
Haven't mixing happened in USA enough since then?
I can imagine mix between Europe origins and non-Europe origins is rather slow in USA, but, between Europe origins?

How many generation past since migration of them from Europe to USA?

Many generations, but there are layers of more recent immigrants. The largest influx was the late 1800's and early 1900's. That was mainly Eastern and Southern Europe.

And yes, I believe that most European immigrants have finally settled in nicely. There are no problems, maybe a joke or two and that's that. But they do worry about too many non-Europeans. Not so much because they are non-European, but because the numbers are large, and even our language as English is in danger. With the previous immigrants, English managed to remain the language of the USA.
NomadatNet 1 | 457

English managed to remain the language of the USA with the previous immigrants, because previous immigrants were Europeans mostly. When Europeans are away from Europe, it is normal to see themselves closer to each others. This is not valid for Europeans only, valid for any other community who lived in the same geography before. For ex., Turks from different villages of Turkey might not be so closer to each others when they were in Turkey, but, they probably feel closer to each others now when they are in Germany. This is something like geographical racism.

Above, someone said USA became a mixed multi-kulti. From your words, I see it is only about multi-kulti of Europeans. However, if somethings happen between countries in Europe today, it seems it may reflect in USA too (seeing people still remembering their ancestor origins.)

Philosophy behind USA was/is money/gold. But, it looks like more ideological now, more Europe related, like a mix of Europe. So, another fail.

Very good topic, if not for the words "France" and "French" it could easily be a description of the worrying developments in Belgium, Holland, UK, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Polish people should really take the threats of multiculturalism more seriously. Once it starts, there will be no way back...

So Poland should never ever think of "positive discrimination", giving non-European immgrants free houses and benefits, free language courses etc. Because this will result in a huge increase of these people and they won't get away anymore.

odz why don't u leave homogeneous Poland for a while and try liviing in the west for a bit.

For your information this is my country, the country for which my ancestors (not very far back) have given their blood to free and prosper.

Poland cannot be shut down, and it cannot dwell the fate of Apartheid South Africa or the brutal racism that the failed racists preach 24/7 out of their own personal lack of confidence and capabilities.

I am all for free and fair integration ... and I have given my views which I feel are reasonable for my and other European nations as well: Ideas for constructive Immigration methods for Poland.

Important to note that this is for future migration ... for those citizens of our countries who came as a result of migration, the schooling must be improved for their children to integrate. Integration must be induced both ways. Remember that in this way only Europe wins. Remember again, that nothing is lost from Europe, but Europe only and ONLY gains. Apart from the black gene, all the rest of those genes are recessive compared to the white gene, and turn the same as any of us in 2 or 3 (max) mixing. However, even beyond that, to become color conscious is not being modern, but medieval.

As humanity progresses ... evolved ... and the world turns into a global village. The resistance will keep coming, but there had been no resistance powerful enough to stop the Dawn from happening, or to keep the sun from rising by tying it with ropes or chains.

non-European

There is no non-European once they start with the process of being a citizen as well as step into the process of integration which MANY OF THEM DO.

So sorry for you Jarnowa ... you have only ONE BLOODY SHAMEFUL AND SERIOUSLY LACKING IN CONFIDENCE objective, and that objective will never be fulfilled only due to the TOOLS you employ to achieve them.

George Corley Wallace, Jr. (August 25, 1919 - September 13, 1998) was the 45th Governor of Alabama, serving four terms: 1963-1967, 1971-1979 and 1983-1987. "The most influential loser" in 20th-century U.S. politics, according to biographers Dan T. Carter[1] and Stephan Lesher,[2] he ran for U.S. president four times, running officially as a Democrat three times and in the American Independent Party once.

They will never be real Europeans, even if they carry a passport of every European country!
Only genetics determine if someone is European or not.

Does that make them worse people? No of course not. But they will aways be guests to Europe and should be treated as such.
Europeans should always rule Europe. Non-Europeans should adapt or move elsewhere.

So sorry for you Jarnowa ... you have only ONE BLOODY SHAMEFUL AND SERIOUSLY LACKING IN CONFIDENCE objective, and that objective will never be fulfilled only due to the TOOLS you employ to achieve them.

I'm a very confident European guy, so i want non-Europeans to behave like thankful guests, like i am a thankful guest to Polish people.

If they annoy me in any way, try to force their laws on me or force me to pay just 1 grosze for their benefit (either directly or via pressure on leftwing politicians), i'm happy to remind them that they are not real Europeans and should stop their annoying behaviour or leave Europe. :)

I sometimes really get irritated by other people who think that America Belongs to the Europeans because they are the majority in numbers. Europeans were the first settlers in North America but the land already belonged to the the Red Indians or Native Americans to be politically correct as you call it. One law maker in a certain State once reminded the American people during a heated immigration debate that everyone was a descendent of an illegal immigrant coz the first european settlers were not granted permission by the Red Indians to settle on their land. Imagine the Red Indians had a good system in place to control all the Europeans who were fleeing poverty at that time to the West how many would have been allowed in??? Then again many of you would choose not to even consider this. America is a great nation because of many nationalities (not only europeans) who came together to build it so in my opinion America will always be land of a mixture of colours and cultures.

I am soo sorry I stepped into this conversation late. What the Hell do you guys mean by Poland is for white or Europe is a white continent??? seriously?? The countries we all adore and wanna do and want to live in, work in and would like to claim citizenship are countries that have opened their doors to all forms of races and colours. Read my words... "THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO SUCCESS".. The best doctors and England are all immigrants from Asia and Africa. The best engineers in the US are all not just non-white, but they are foreign born. I am speaking of ALL... not 80% or 95%. And sadly enough the best Plate-washers and floor cleaners in the UK, Greece and Italy are people from white countries like Poland. I have been everywhere and seen Poles all around.

Guys this is the 21st century... not 1864. This is the new normal... any other thing else is abnormal. Get used to it. Get used to having blacks and and Asians living next door, if you dont... your country will be the new definition of 3rd world.

The chap who complains of not wanting Poland to become like France, should come and see what poverty is like in Poland. He will be glad he is French.

You sound very frustrated to me giving so distorted facts .

Poland will very unlikely to become a multiculti country because we have a healthy law that allows to grant a citizenship only to children born to Polish citizens( one principle among many others) which means more or less that our immigration law is very stiff. The immigration officers will sooner or later catch fake marriage couples . In such case the process of awaiting is halted forever

What does a law about citizenship have to do with immigration?(especially illegal).Poland will not become multicultural because Polaci do not give jobs to foreigners.

( one principle among many others)

You are not accurate. On reasonable grounds, and proper duration, papers etc ... PR and Citizenships are generally granted. How many do you know who were denied? I for one know a few who got accepted. So there you go ...

Fake marriages are something that happens with mutual consent based on money. Such actions are performed by Poles in US and other places where they want to stay as well. Often some of our actions are worse than those which we boast against. Its a long story and a very unfortunate one. In either ways, not all marriages are fake.

Polaci do not give jobs to foreigners.

We've got problems with proper jobs even for Poles ... with proper qualifications even. Our economy is improving and there is hope, but we have our problems which need to be sorted.
Monia

Polaci do not give jobs to foreigners.

Oh boy, come and visit Poland one day , you will see how many of them have jobs here in Poland .Rarely they get citizenship .

Citizenships are generally granted.

In most cases only to those who are married to Polish citizen ( or if they established long- term economical relationship with Poland, meaning owning a business not just working ) , multiculti children will never get unless they are children of at least one polish citizen . Unlike in Canada or USA ( the most multiculti states) .

In my legal professional experience I have had many such cases of citizenship refusal . I must say all of them if they are not based on legal evidences .

Monia, would citizenship make a meaningful difference? Yes, I'd get the chance to vote but Poles often don't feel empowered that they can change things either. It is an overstated right.

Unlike in Canada or USA ( the most multiculti states) .

I got no idea of US or Canada... yea a little about USA but in all the wrong ways by a friend who used to take prospective citizens with wacky plans from here :D ...

Anyways ... yes when they are married to Polish Citizen it is much faster. However on work and education they can get a PR, and later if they show proper reason for their stay in Poland, they can get a Citizenship. Although again, the 6 good friend (ex-foreigners and now Polish citizens) are all married to Polish, but even before that they had a possibility to gain citizenship and I think most of them already had a PR.

There is a length of time they need to stay ... and their conduct, capability, education, job ... it all matters. You cannot just discard it. Yes, businesses make it easier. But something making it easier doesn't mean that other things do not work at all.

Our immigration policy is not that stiff as you mentioned. Infact not many want to stay in Poland. I noticed that most just go towards UK, Germany or France ... etc (mostly to UK). Unfortunately for those countries, those who are usually not very capable in studies or clear of their goals go to those places.

Fortunately for Poland, or maybe atleast in my experience, I have found people will good education who would be capable back in their home country as well, prefer to stay in Poland and work their way for a living. Reason of choices range from interest in Polish landscape, a liking developed for the country, or relationships formed while their stay in here.

About fake stuff, I don't really mix with the unskilled labors found in shady alleys ... or discos with narcotics etc. I've been happily acquainted with people from reasonably good backgrounds ... coming from USA to Japan, from China to India, from South America to Canada ... etc ... Students mainly, business reasons, even activists.

The policy for immigration is infact not balanced. I always thought that with proper immigration policies, the high influx of those who have no intention really to stay in a country and contribute truly and effectively to its prosperity would not be able to make it. For this, the compulsory requirement of a certain amount of money in the bank (which seems to take all the focus) needs to be removed, and focus must be given to genuine students. For this, the agents from Poland and those countries must be discouraged, and students who apply themselves to Polish Universities must be given the priority and welcomed with open arms even. Plus, our Universities can benefit too by getting into affiliations and partnerships with more foreign universities for student exchange etc...

Positive immigration is a healthy thing.

Sure Immigration is ok when it is in reasonable levels. In western Europe though there are many poor immigrants who come and stay poor and or completely un-assimilated. Immigration should be tightly controlled so we do not end up like France or Holland.

You cannot compare the situation to the us or canada. For canada I can say the immigrants here are well behaved, generally economically successful and for the most part assimilated. Even those that do not assimilate, it does not matter since these in these countries there are huge numbers of minorities that there is almost no majority.
