Interesting pronoun choice

Another problem of the West - being too concerned about pronouns.

killed by an Ukrainian refugee

Had not been living in Poland but Germany, tried to enter Ukraine, was turned away and then we went on a rampage... I have no idea what the background or causes of the rampage were and will wait for further clarification. My immediate guesses are mentally ill, drugged up, russian agent or some combination of two or more of those three.

problem of the West - being too concerned about pronouns

You seemed to be referring to russian's actions as 'we' which, so far, I've only ever heard russians do. Everyone else might say 'It's not the first week of the war' or something similar.

Probably just carelessness....

Putin, should he read PF during a qiet hour, will surely get lotsa satisfaction from..

It is not so bad, on Russia's side, one lonely Torq, the rest of us on the side of angels

Borders can be adjusted, the source of conflict removed, and the peace restored.

I hope you are not talking about Ziemie Odzyskane.

Ukraine was part of NN on the eve of the war. He obviously has been..

Don't forget half of Poland was part of Russia, once, so in his mind, justifiable adjustment would include half of Poland

Radoslaw Sikorski has got it right.Polish troops threatening Kaliningrad will force Putin to reinforce defence of that state, which means it will weaken it's forces against Ukraine.
Russia is fvcked part 281.

Torq is either a Polish traitor or more likely a Russian or maybe a Serb.

From a Polish perspective, that's the stupidest idea of the month. Russia would be able to prepare its forces north of Poland, and Poland thinks that's a good strategy?

Why does Ukraine bomb Moscow?

I know it may be incomprehensible to you, but noone, no matter the blood and race, is obligated to love Russians.

Love, friendship and loyalty needs to be earned by deeds and Russians never did anything to earn it, always obsessed with grabbing more land and subjugating their neighbours.

This is the truth..... ignore trolls like Torq.... this is the reality.....
Russia is fvcked part 282.

You seemed to be referring to russian's actions as 'we'

My writing in English in naturally influenced by my native tongue, and it's normal in Polish to say "mamy już piąty rok tej wojny" (we have/we are in the fifth year of the war), without it implying being a part of the conflict. If I were talking about history and said "it is 431 BC and we are in the first year of Peloponesian war", that wouldn't make me a Spartan (or an Athenian) either.

What I noticed, guys, is that you're trying to attack me personally, suggesting - or even saying explicitly - that I am a Serb, a Russian, a communist, a traitor or a troll, without properly addressing my arguments. It tells me that you are - to different degrees - severely brainwashed and under the influence of really primitive propaganda (see Milo's YT videos).

Radoslaw Sikorski

... shouldn't really be our foreign minister. He had British citizenship in the past (which he renounced in 2006), he is married to an American journalist connected with the Deep State and his son serves in the American army. What happens if national interest of Poland no longer aligns with that of the USA? We will have a severe case of divided loyalties on our hands. A person with such personal history and connections should not be a foreign minister. But he says that he has his plecak ewakuacyjny packed, so I guess it's all right. *rolls eyes*

It is all a bit sad for me because I've been on this board - on and off - since 2008 (that's almost 20 years now 0_0) and I know most of you, guys, from before the Ukrainian-Russian war; you always seemed like decent kind of folks. What happened to some of you in recent years is... well... a bit strange.

mafketis  48 | 12524

it's normal in Polish to say

that's why i gave you the benefit of a doubt...

As for border adjustments, it would be suicide for Ukraine to agree to that unless there are real enforcement mechanisms.... otherwise, as russians frequently say, they would use the break to rest, rearm before attacking again.

There's no indication whatsoever that most russians accept Ukrainian independence and until they do, formal agreements are nonsense.

What happened to some of you in recent years is... well... a bit strange.

You don't think you might be the person developing strange views ?

Excusing anything that North Nigeria does is very similar to the MAGA cultists or even the hardcore covid doomers who backed all the weirdest lockdown restrictions.

no indication whatsoever that most russians accept Ukrainian independence

Read the original text of Ukraine's Declaration of Independence, which was recognized by Russia. It contained key provisions on neutrality and non-aligned status, which were essentially nullified later by the inclusion in the constitution of a provision stating the country's aspiration to join NATO.

If the Ukrainian authorities have decided that they can change the declared foundations, then Russia is fully within its rights to withdraw the recognition it granted on the basis of these fundamental provisions of the declaration.

Here is the text and of course it contains no such languge

The North Nigerians invaded to recolonize the land, to thieve and to burn. Nothing to do with NATO

Here is the text and of course it contains no such languge

It contains almost nothing by itself.

Declaration of Sovereignty (1990): The Ukrainian SSR declared its intention to become a permanently neutral state in the future, one that would not participate in military blocs, and proclaimed three non-nuclear principles: not to accept, produce, or acquire nuclear weapons.

Act of Declaration of Independence (1991): This document refers to the Declaration of Sovereignty, but is in itself a brief act establishing an independent state.

Subsequently, non-aligned neutral status was established at the legislative level. In December 2014, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially revoked non-aligned status, establishing a course toward integration into Euro-Atlantic structures and NATO.

Excusing anything that North Nigeria does

I would be very grateful if you could possibly show me where I "excuse anything that Russia does". Go ahead - with quotations, please.

OK, I am a Russophile, and I never made a secret out of it, but from the very beginning of the war I have written that it was a mistake and that the matters between Ukraine and Russia could have been settled in a different, peaceful way. I don't even know how many times I criticised Putin himself and the actions of his regime towards Ukraine. But still, for you guys, I am a traitor who will shoot his fellow soldiers in the back, a communist or even a Russian pretending to be a Pole. Just read this thread. It's not even funny anymore.

All that I would like you geniuses to consider is that maybe - just maybe - it is not such a great idea to try and "bring Russia to her knees" as some of you dream about (again - just read this thread). Perhaps, if we are talking about a country with accomplishments in every area of human endeavour - from education, exact sciences, medicine and agriculture to nuclear science and spaceflight - and a nuclear superpower, perhaps it is not such a bright idea to try to bring them to their knees. Perhaps, it is not such a bright idea to dismiss and ignore safety concerns of a country that possesses enough nuclear weapons to destroy earth several times over. No? Somehow I don't see you demanding to bring China to their knees, it is just Russia who needs to be humiliated. Interesting. Sometimes - especially with all the "orcs", "North Nigeria", "drunk rapists" etc. etc stuff - it really looks like some sort of retarded racist prejudice. Of course it would be nonsensical for a Polish person to be racist against Russians - we are both Slavic nations - but some of you seem to be able of such mental gymnastics.

You don't have to admit anything or agree with me. Just think about it. Take a deep breath, count to ten, and think about it.

cms neuf  3 | 2556

It's obvious that they want only Donbass and Crimea but they demand more to be..

There are hundreds of examples on this thread - but this one sums up your basic belief - that the free citizens of East Ukraine should be handed over, against their will, to a foreign power run by a filthy murderer

As for drunk rapists - do you acknowledge that both alcoholism and sexual violence are serious and well documented problems in the North Nigerian army ?

Torq  43 | 2842
  #558
the free citizens of East Ukraine should be handed over

The free citizens of Donbass and Crimea can decide for themselves what they prefer in an internationally acknowledged referenda. Whatever the vote is, those of free citizens of Donbass and Crimea who will turn out to be in minority in the aforementioned referenda, will be free to do exactly the same thing that the free Greeks and free Turks did after the Balkan wars at the beginning of the 20th century or what the free citizens of East Poland did after WW2, or what the free citizens of East Prussia and Silesia did after WW2 - move to the country of their preference after the borders are shifted.

As for drunk rapists

What about orcs, North Nigerians, amateur wh*res etc.? Show me where you write similar things about other nations. Surely, Russia is not the only country in the world where alcoholism and sexual violence are a problem, and surely it is not the only country in the world whose army is guilty of atrocities against civilians. But somehow I don't see the same level of pure hatred towards any other nation in the world.

This level of prejudice, hatred, and lack of any respect is sick even towards an enemy. You are willing to turn a blind eye to all the corruption of Zelensky's government (even though what we know is most likely only the tip of the iceberg) or all the open glorifying of genocide perpetrators or even nazi Waffen-SS military formations in Ukraine, and somehow it doesn't make you vomit all those streams of abuse towards Ukrainians that you do towards Russians.

cms neuf  3 | 2556
  #559
Surely, Russia is not the only country in the world where alcoholism and sexual violence..

A textbook example of you excusing any of their actions

It is 2026, not 1942, and no modern army is committing the same bestial crimes or deliberately bombing civilians in their beds (except maybe in Gaza)

I am not going to write about other conflicts on this thread because this is a place to discuss the NNs illegal invasion of their peaceful neighbors

What I noticed, guys, is that you're trying to attack me personally, suggesting -

You can't more wrong You are bringing negative reactions by your own writing
which most of us patriotic Poles find bizarre and difficult to swallow. Speaking for myself,
I find it unsavory to attack an opponent using an absent persona like Julius Tuwin or Pawian.
I will call such an action cowardly. Insult me all you want, but do it like a man. Don't worry; I can take it.
You are like a tap endlessly turning, being evasive
The only constant is your love for Russia. You dislike it.
When someone brings your Russian sympathies to attention, it may be the preferred action would be to minimize throwing Russia in our faces, which is rather offensive to us. Other than that, you are a likable and interesting bloviator with a tendency to rely too much on the AI.
Believe me or not, but I really like you.

Torq  43 | 2842

except maybe in Gaza

Yeah, so where's all your hatred towards Israelis? Where are the Jewish orcs, Middle-East Nigerians etc. etc.?

on this thread

It doesn't have to be on this thread - it can be anywhere else. Show me where you display similar levels of hatred towards any other nation in the world.

When someone brings your Russian sympathies to attention

There is a difference between "bringing sympathies to attention" and suggesting that someone is a traitor.

One way or another, as I said, I remember most of you from before the war and I know that you are, by and large, decent folks. So, perhaps it wouldn't be the worst idea to wait out this war and come back when it's over. The way it is now, it's not that much fun posting here anymore.

bloviator with a tendency to rely too much on the AI

Look who's talking! :)

Believe me or not, but I really like you.

You're not too bad yourself, Ptak. This war has changed all of us and not for the better, I'm afraid. Ah, well...

cms neuf  3 | 2556
  #562
Yeah, so where's all your hatred towards Israelis? Where are the Jewish orcs, Middle-East Nigerians..

I make the occasional comment in those threads but it's different for me - I have never visited Israel or the middle east apart from the odd airport stop. And the conflict there is less clear cut - Israel totally over reacted to Palestinian terrorism.

In the Ukraine war there is a clear good side and bad side. You worry about Ukrainians corruption and some historical enmity with Poland but I don't care about them - I just want to go back to the steady state we had in Europe since 1945, where powerful countries didn't just invade their neighbors because they felt like it.

Przelotnyptak1  1 | 1447
  #563
Read the original text of Ukraine's Declaration of Independence,

Wow, your understanding of Independence sound rather strange, like saying you are independent to do what I allow you to do or else.

to try and "bring Russia to her knees"

There you go again, who the hell is talking about the Russia at its knees.? Russia is wallowing
in the excrement, by the choice of her own Is asking Russia to act like a civilized nation no longer allowed

Perhaps, it is not such a bright idea to dismiss and ignore safety concerns of..

One more of your hallucinations, who is foolish enough to threaten nuclear power of such a potential for
destruction, who is even dreaming of holocaust, the end if human civilization .
Safety concerns, artificial excuses for monstruous behavior nothing more.

Torq  43 | 2842
  #564
go back to the steady state we had in Europe since 1945

I fear there's no going back to those halcyon times. And you have to admit that it's not only Russia's fault.

who the hell is talking about the Russia at its knees.?

Maf mentioned it directly, and you can infer it from the posts of others as well.

artificial excuses (...) nothing more

Well, here's where we differ.

Przelotnyptak1  1 | 1447

But somehow I don't see the same level of pure hatred towards any other nation..

You must be drunk; otherwise, you would understand the difference in the Poles' interest in the behavior of Rwanda vs. Russia.

Maf mentioned it directly,

When? I dont' remember using those words as a goal (maybe as a nice idea) I do think that the old saying about Germans probably applies more to russians - either at your feet or at your throat....

Torq  43 | 2842

at your feet

Good luck with that.

Anyways... strange things happen on this board recently, and I don't think I like it.

Have nice lives, guys.Take care.

Ridiculous flounce Torq - people are challenging you on your support for the murdering aggressors in an illegal war.

Korvinus  9 | 884

Read the original text of Ukraine's Declaration of Independence, which was recognized by Russia. It..

You don't get to revoke the sovereignty of a state because something about it changes. That's what it means to be sovereign. Otherwise it's not independent at all.

That's like saying Britain can bomb America because they decided to give Indians rights despite calling them savages in the Declaration of Independence.

mafketis  48 | 12524
  #570
eople are challenging you on your support for the murdering aggressors

I think his heart is ultimately in the right place but he's kind of misguided... he's never asked himself just exactly why the russians make such a dinner out of Bandera when he never did much of note politically and nothing even his worst, most misguided supporters did would be likely to bother the soviets or russians (as the inheritors of the cccp).

don't get to revoke the sovereignty of a state because something about it changes

a big part of russian.... intervention in Ukraine is to degrade Ukrainian sovreignty in various ways.... they were cvmming in their pants at trump meeting putin with no Ukrainians present... they want everything about Ukraine to be decided without Ukrainians.

And, like all those who talk about 'peace' in terms of Ukraine giving up land they have no explanation why they think russia would hold up its end of any bargain or any proposition about how to enforce such a peace.

At this stage some kind of Korean solution is probably realistic and Ukraine has even suggested it and russia refuses... becaue it still wants to bite off more of Ukraine and well-intentioned people are prone to let it...
