Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 29

1) HIMARS (...)

Taken together, the United States has committed well over $100 billion in combined military, economic, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, making it one of the largest foreign assistance efforts in modern U.S. history.

According to ChatGPT it is broadly comparable in order of magnitude (in absolute modern dollars) to Lend-Lease aid for Soviet Union in WW2. 😲

Tell us again, Cms, that the USA in not a party in this war.

They are trying to kill us... but it will not work.

Iran will receive all the help it could possibly need... and others in need of help.

They are trying to kill us

Regardless of all sympathies or loyalties, it must be clear for any outside observer that it is very difficult for all Russian patriots to see their country in such a difficult situation (without judging who is to blame for it).

I hope peace will reign soon in both Ukraine and Russia, and that it will be a just and lasting one. Earth faces enough global-scale problems without prolonging such cruel and costly wars.

in such a difficult situation (without judging who is to blame for it).

Only you and Russian manure spreader, Bobko, are withholding the judgement the rest of us knew from day one who was to blame. The treasonous
Bobko blames Ukraine.

This is propaganda...

I despair of you, guys.

Can you not, for a short moment, forget about who's mainly to blame for the war and simply empathise with peoples' hardship? Even if - by and large - they brought it on themselves? Besides, do you really live behind such a propaganda wall that you cannot see that Ukraine and the West are not exactly innocent angels either?

Yes, Russians started the war. Yes, Putin plunged his country into this hell, but does it mean that we cannot understand what it means to see your fellow countrymen dying by thousands and their enemies receiving Lend-Lease-scale aid from the USA, and another one from the EU whilst the world watches the slaughter (on both sides) with cola and popcorn?

You are Slavs - where are your hearts?

General Harald Kujat is a former head of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and the former Chairman of NATO's Military Committee. Having held the top military position in both Germany and NATO, General Kujat offers his expertise on how the West and Russia ended up fighting a proxy war in Ukraine. General Kujat warns that NATO's obsession with defeating Russia will result in the destruction of Ukraine.

simply empathise with peoples' hardship? Even if - by and large - they brought it..

I empathize greatly with the Ukrainians bombed in their beds every night

The North Nigerians at the front - all volunteers, zero empathy for them. I don't wish them dead, but they must own their own choices and be brought to justice for murder after the Ukrainians victory

The North Nigerian population - mostly voted for Putler. As above I don't wish them dead but they must face the consequences

And of course the free nations are going to help Ukraine. What did you expect. One of the reasons these nations are rich is because they are free.

The North Nigerian drunk invaders have got 4 years of material help from all the wretched of the earth - Chinese, Koreans, Syrians, Hungarians etc. is that ok for you ?

without judging who is to blame

After Bucha, Mariupol and thousands of abducted children?

Do you look at Auschwitz and Katyn "without judging who is to blame'?

Would you close the Katyn Museumin Warsaw, to avoid 'judging who is to blame'?

countrymen dying by thousands and their enemies receiving Lend-Lease-scale aid from the USA, and another..

Putin won't end this war until he's forced to because he doesn't want/is unable to deal with other problems.

War is the best way he knows to pacify the Russian society despite life becoming more difficult every year.

Sure, Russians never were particularly rebelious, but populations of Moscow and Petersburg had some unrest potential if their standard of living was threatened. War gives Putin an option to call everyone oposing him a traitor. It gives him 'rally around the flag effect' that can prolong his increasingly senile rule.

So even if he won against Ukraine soon new targets would be decided upon. Moldavia is the most obvious one, but drunk on his success Putin might be tempted to dance with NATO over the control of the Baltic States.

That's why this current war must end with Russian defeat crippling enough so that the Russian government (whatever it will be) is forced to stop warmongering and focus on fixing at least some domestic issues.

After Bucha

By the way, where is a official list of Bucha "victim" names?

cms neuf  3 | 2566
6 Aug 2026   #883
There are official lists prepared of the 501 victims, and North Nigerian murderers will get a chance to comment on them at The Hague. Though many have since died in Pokrovsk, all will get justice.

I imagine like the Serb butchers of Srebrenica many will claim they have dementia and are unfit for trial.

The youngest victim was 2 years old

Here is another list BTW - of 22 North Nigerian "soldiers" who used their victims phones to call home from Bucha

all the wretched of the earth - Chinese, Koreans, Syrians, Hungarians etc.

Chinese - the wretched of the earth? They are the future only world superpower. Hungarians? Whatever happened to "Polak, Węgier - dwa bratanki."?

Would you close the Katyn Museum in Warsaw, to avoid 'judging who is to blame'?

That is not the point, Jonno. Besides, we are better able to judge a historical event from the perspective of almost a century than when it is happening in front of our eyes and neither of us knows every factor, reason and circumstance behind it.

The most important thing is to avoid hatred and contempt which would seem to be present in you attitude towards Russia, guys. It won't destroy your enemies but it will destroy you. Take if from a former skinhead - hatred eats away at your soul.

Putin might be tempted to dance with NATO over the control of the Baltic States.

Even if he's crazy enough, his generals and oligarchs will stop him. They have golden toilets to sh*t in, for crying out loud! Do you think they want to spend the rest of their lives hiding like rats in underground bunkers? They have too much to lose.

North Nigerian murderers will get a chance to comment on them at The Hague

With enough eye-witness and forensic evidence to stand up in any court.

Plus the theatre in Mariupol, the one with the word "ДЕТИ" written in huge letters on the roof, the one with hundreds of children sheltering inside that they fired a thermobaric bomb at.

And the several thousand Ukrainian children they abducted. Some of those kids will have bonded with their captors now which will make it doubly traumatic wjen they return.

And the tortured and mutilated prisoners of war.

All of these crimes will be punished before any sanctions are lifted.

neither of us knows every factor, reason and circumstance behind it.

We do however know the facts, and all evidence has been collected by the Ukrainian government and the ICC.

Whatever happened to "Polak, Węgier - dwa bratanki.

That's sentimental nationalistic stuff from 2 centuries ago. Lives are far more important.

Where it was published?

Ask the ICC. Maybe send Putler along to their office in The Hague to ask them in person.

Ask the ICC.

So, no official list of victims, just like no any proofs in Skripals case and in polonium case. But billions of losses due to "sanctions" tnat was based on this "press only" cases.

Don't hope that this cases is closed, a bit later someone will have to answer a number of inconvenient questions.

There are official lists - and every kopeck of those sanctions is fully deserved for the drunk atrocities of Bucha

official list of victims

Did you expect the prosecutors to share details with the perps during the investigation? Did you expect to see a list of rape victims' names?

no any proofs in Skripals case and in polonium case.

Both proven to the satisfaction of the courts.

As you well know.

But billions of losses due to sanctions

And even more losses for r*SSia due to the sanctions announced today.

Stop whining. You caused it and you'll pay for it.

Ukraine and the West are not exactly innocent angels either?

You must have come to the insane conclusion after conferring with your friend, despicable Bobko, the "Slavic brother", Russian manure spreader if so, falee conclusion should be ignored if not questions should be asked about sound judgment.

You are Slavs - where are your hearts?

In the right place. beating in rhythm with our brothers, the Ukrainians.

I empathize greatly with the Ukrainians bombed in their beds every night

Right, you are, for a change.

Take if from a former skinhead - hatred eats away at your soul.

Yeah, so what is your opinion of the president Trump, and America? or you are planning to constrain your wild assumptions? You cannot have it both ways.

The Hague to ask them in person.

Hauge shmaughe, nothing will happen unless it comes from within.

unless it comes from within.

They'll just wither away anyway, given the male life expectancy of 60ish and falling fast. Plus their cities are like this and these buildings will fall to the ground by natural attrition, with the inhabitants in them:

Putin won't end this war until he's forced to

One of Russia's primary "pressures" - is to show that Ukraine cannot dictate the flow of events, but that instead Russia is the only player that can impose outcomes.

It's important for internal political optics, that Russia is seen as having forced Ukraine into some type of arrangement.

That's why Zelensky's 40 Day Campaign was dead on arrival. Ditto for the Kursk operation.

He can make things very painful for Russia, and humiliating - but it has the reverse effect to what he is pursuing.

-//-

A small country, cannot impose outcomes on the bigger country - at least "officially". It is too embarrassing for the big country.

Even if it is ready to do a deal, behaving as Zelensky does makes it an impossibility for the Russians to accept.

In this way, the Chechens had practically won their war against the Russian state in the 1990s, but drunk on their own success and filled with bravado - acted in such a way that left Russia no way of gracefully releasing them. What followed was an even more brutal round of fighting, and the complete subjugation of Chechnya.

Here's a historic video, showing Yeltsin's frustrations while meeting with the Chechen negotiating team. Watch how Yeltsin tries to impress upon the Chechens that they are "not his equal", and how the Chechens react.

Zelensky has to be a little more clever and flexible - and feed Putin some kind of "win". If Zelensky insists on keeping up the macho bravado, the war will keep going on for much longer, with both sides suffering, but Ukraine suffering disproportionately more.

Same with Iran.

Trump knows it's a steaming pile of sh*t. Hegseth knows it. Rubio knows it.

Vance is somewhere in a corner rubbing his hands with glee - thinking of his 2028 run.

Everybody wants to leave the Iran story behind them, and forget it like a bad dream.

-//-

Iran, instead of giving the American tyrant the paper "win" he wants, is full of rage and bent on revenge.

This is foolish.

They suffered under America's unjustifiable strikes, and lost many of their people, but trying to humiliate Trump may backfire on them.

A superpower cannot simply fold cards and leave the poker table. There is too much at stake.

Instead of embarrassing/humiliating the USA through "implication", the Iranians want to totally "undress" America. Emotionally this is understandable, but in practice this ragebaiting can provoke a completely disastrous (for both sides) American recommitment to the war.

-//-

Ukraine still stands, despite Putin's promises that he could erase them from the map. That's a victory enough.

Ditto for Iran.

Both these guys have much to be proud of... but trying to drive the pain home for America and Russia - their governments are not doing themselves or their populations any favors.

A small country, cannot impose outcomes on the bigger country - at least "officially". It..

Why ? This is a colonial war and in such cases there are many examples of the small country imposing an outcome on the bullying colonialists

Ireland on England
Algeria on France
Vietnam on everyone
Angola on Portugal and then RSA

And of course the all time classic - Afghanistan on the UNNR, just needed them to get a supply of modern weapons

The diametric opposite is true - the North Nigerians will now be hated

feed Putin some kind of "win".

He's had small wins. No need for another.

Ukraine still stands, despite Putin's promises that he could erase them from the map.

So let Putler withdraw his troops.

He can make things very painful for Russia, and humiliating -

That won't stop any time soon.

r*SSia accepted their defeat by Japan; let them do the same now. That or this war will continue for ever. He can't use nukes, his attempts at hybrid war with western countries have failed. Time to face facts and withdraw back to the pre-2014 borders. He can tell his populace any old lies about why. A country that had banners saying "Lenin is more alive than the living" will accept what they're told to accept..

Bobko  32 | 3446

r*SSia accepted their defeat by Japan; let them do the same now

Russia accepting defeat by Japan, led to a very fun twentieth century for everyone.

The humiliation of losing to an "Asiatic Power", combined with the resulting economic hardship produced strikes, mutinies, peasant unrest, and simple terrorism during the "January Revolution".

The final trigger in that specific instance was Georgy Gapon's "peaceful" march in January 1905, which ended in "Bloody Sunday," when troops fired on demonstrators.

Everything that unfolded after kept getting worse, and worse - until finally resulting in the October Revolution.

The October Revolution resulted in massive problems for THE REST OF THE WORLD, lasting approximately 70 years.

From the rise of Hitler, to the emergence of Mao Zedong, and Ho Chi Minh, and Fidel Castro - and a million other lesser characters.
