It's not just about petrol for cars vs which in Moscow are largely an irrelevance; it's derv for buses and lorries that are important, and fuel for the harvest. This is also running out.

Europe in particular, including BREXIT-era Britain, has to ask herself just how she envisions her society.

The US had to face this situation for the first time, starting nearly 130 years ago, true enough. But across the Pond, the rumblings of societal aka ethno-demographic change and how this affects population shifts can no longer be swept under the proverbial rug.

Sooner rather than later, a new culture of inclusion will simply have to be accepted.
