Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 29

Ron2
28 Apr 2026   #31
Germany wants Ukraine to give up its land in exchange for EU membership. I wonder how they came up with these new criteria. Ukraine should be held to the same standards that Poland was judged by, unless the goal of the EU - just like the US - is to vomit on its own constitution and so called "laws."

How about admitting Australia to the EU - location is just a meaningless detail.

And on it goes..... Russia is fvcked part 140.

Oh yeah, but according to some commentators,European nations are not doing enough to help Ukraine.
The UK,France,Germany, The Netherlands and other European states have sent tons of aid.Now it's Spain's turn to stand up and be counted.

Russia is fvcked part 141.

Russians keep claiming that Russia has the world's second most powerful military.
Ahem,USA and China?
That makes them third and Russia's losses in Ukraine suggests that Ukrainian military is superior to Russia's, that makes them fourth, at best.
Russia's military is useless....
Russia is fvcked part 142.

Ukrainians are just far too smart for the stupid Russians to cope with.

Russia is fvcked part 143.

I have said it already but Russians are far too stupid to cope with Ukrainian intelligence.
Graphite bombs?Who knew?

"Revolution is coming" these are words spoken by a Russian.

Russia is fvcked and Putin is fvcked part 145.

It goes on and on..... Putin made a HUGE mistake by invading Ukraine and he is soon to pay the price for his idiocy.

Putin knows he has lost....

Russia is absolutely fvcked part 146.

For those of you who are fascinated by Milo's Russia is Fvcked (RIF) series, I was thinking we should honor Milo's prodigious serial output with a celebration.

As I was contemplating how to celebrate this captivating series, it became clear to me that it shouldn't be an arbitrary celebration, but one that marks a major milestone.

Therefore, I propose that those of us who are loyal RIFfies throw a shindig to mark the 5000th installment of RIF.

According to my calculations, when factoring in 13% of installments contain multiple episodes at an average of 3 and accounting for vacation time and PF absences, the 5000th installment should drop May 21, 2035.

Please RSVP no later than May 5, 2035, so we know how much caviar and champagne to order.

For those of you who are fascinated by Milo's Russia is Fvcked (RIF) series

One has to admit that it's all pretty impressive...

A Russian satirical writer once wrote the following (rough Google Translate):

"A Pole is a perfect, spherical Russophobe in a vacuum. The absolute standard of a Russophobe from the Paris Chamber of Weights and Measures. In principle, one could even measure Russophobia in units of Psh. However, any individual Russophobe who is not Polish will always have a Russophobia coefficient of <1 Psh. 0.1 Psh, 0.5 Psh, 0.9 Psh.

A resident of Galicia, who masturbates to a portrait of Bandera and practices hatred of Muscovites every morning, can achieve a coefficient of 0.95, even 0.99 Psh. But 1 Psh will always remain an abstract, unattainable value for them."

Given everything we've seen so far, I would suggest that Russophobia should instead be measured in Milos. Yes, I understand he's nominally Polish by blood, but what allows him to exceed even the level of 1 Psh is his Britannic upbringing. This combustible mixture of influences allows him to exist on a qualitatively different plane.

In such a way:

1) An average statistical American could be measured at ~0.33 Milo.

2) An average statistical Georgian at ~0.6 Milo.

3) An average statistical Englishman at ~0.85 Milo.

4) A average statistical Galician Ukrainian at ~0.97 Milo.

5) An average statical Pole at ~0.98 Milo.

6) An average statistical diaspora Pole at ~0.99 Milo, but still never a full Milo.

Psh

Which is, of course, properly spelled 'Psz'.

An average statical Pole at ~0.98 Milo.

I am almost there after I have learnt in recent days that I will be spending about half of my summer holidays under arms. I'm quite sure I would be spared the "pleasure" if it wasn't for the stubbornly ongoing RMO. Come one, guys, call it an honourable draw and just feckin' stop! I was supposed to go to Prague and Vienna with wife and kids. :(

Quite the contrary. I mustn't tell you any specific details.

On second thoughts, all things considered, it's better that your brilliant strategists started the whole mess when they did and not 10 years later. One needs to see the positive sides of everything. :)

If Russia attacks Yurp well all hell could break loose, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, India, Pakistan, Algiers, a whole bunch of central African republics, might all declare war on Russia to defend their citizens!

If Russia attacks Yurp well all hell could break loose.

Correct, WW3.

Intelligent Russians would sue for peace now, before things got worse for Russia. But Putin is not an intelligent Russian.

Russia is fvcked in more ways than one and the longer this war goes on, the worse it will be for Russia....

Russia is fvcked

I've been looking at google maps photos from various places in Russia (don't know why). In general, one gets the 1990s Poland feeling looking at them but also something else... a kind of nostalgia, a twitch upon the thread, something primal... je ne sais quoi and all that.

If Russia is fvcked, Milo, then I believe - in the long run - we are all well and truly fvcked.

Apologies.

But... also - you told me many times that reserves are what determine the long term course of a war.

With which I fully agree.

Here I hope you will agree with me - Russia has the deepest reserves of anyone except maybe China or America.
Torq  40 | 2708

Russia has the deepest reserves of anyone except maybe China or America.

They are different kinds of reserves though, aren't they?

In the second week of September 1939, three Polish divisions from Army "PoznaΕ„" were assaulting the positions of just one German division (30th Infantry) in a part of Battle of Bzura. They were slaughtering us. For every German company forced to withdraw we paid with 100-120 of our boys. We were proud that they avoided bayonet combat with us and whenever it happened our infantrymen slaughtered the Germans. But they avoided the bayonets because their company had the firepower of our batallion - MG34 were a hellish weapon - they killed us, jumped back, killed us, jumped back and killed us again. They weren't cowards, they were just as brave and fanatic as we were but they didn't want to waste their soldiers' lives. And we were happy like retards that we managed to win some bayonet charges with horrendous losses. Three Polish divisions - brave and heroic as we always were - couldn't crush one German division; they held their ground and bought enough time for their armies to make a turn and slaughter us.

Why am I telling you all this? Because it's a perfect example that an army of a modern empire, with high-tech weapons, tactics and command/communication systems will always slaughter an army of a backwards, farming (or natural resources in general) based country - no matter how brave and heroic the weaker country's soldiers are.

You have reserves, kiddo. Sure you do. But maybe, just maybe, those reserves would be better spent than throwing them into a war they cannot win?

Or maybe I'm just getting old...

*off to catch some z's*

@Torq

What you say has been true for 1,000 years.

The Germans have always been better individual fighters.

Did it save them? Did it prevent their country from being sliced up, and their wealth becoming ours for the plunder? No. They won only once, in WW1 and shortly after we punished them in a way they still can't forget in their nearly 30% reduced country.

They may be richer, fight smarter, etc... but do they win? No.

Russia is the biggest country in the world, and a Security Council member - despite just 150M people and a derelict economy.

If we wanted to, and the circumstances were extreme enough - we could erase all of Germany and all of its people tomorrow. Then eat a ham sandwich, and erase the French and Italians for Lunch. Then erase the rest of Europe for dinner.

Does Germany have this capability? No? Then why not?

. Then eat a ham sandwich, and erase the French and Italians for Lunch. Then erase..

Terrific, except that in the biggest country in the world there is

No ham
Only rock hard bread
No butter, just that margerine you make from coal
Certainly no mustard, but maybe some pre pandemic pickles in the badly drained basement

I don't follow your logic in making that conclusion. Please explain.

Russia is never "truly" fvcked. The reserves are deeeeeeeeep.

But the reserves are not THAT deep.

You have reserves, kiddo. Sure you do. But maybe, just maybe, those reserves would be better..

Agreed. It is a war Russia cannot win.

The Germans have always been better individual fighters.

No, they haven't. You missed the point spectacularly.

Polish or even Russian individual soldier was every bit as good, tough and brave as a German one. But they were better commanded, had better tactics, modern weapons and communication systems, could react much faster on the battlefield, and had incomparably stronger industry behind them (at least at the beginning of the war). That's why our soldiers in 1939 could perform miracles of heroism and still get slaughtered by thousands with much lower German losses.

in WW1 and shortly after

But all that was for precisely the same reason! They were much richer than poor, farming-based, stitched together from the three partitions Poland and were an industrial powerhouse compared to us in 1939 but the moment the USA joined the war, the very same mechanism took place - they were against a country that were much richer, modern and industrialized than they were. Their defeat became just a question of time.

erase the rest of Europe for dinner

Nuclear weapons? Yes, they are an aberration that introduces an unpredictable variable to the previous system. They are also what prevents modern-day Russia from collapse.

this capability

What Russia still has, apart from nukes, is the ability to replace losses - to regenerate and keep throwing reserves at their enemies whilst disregarding (to some extent) the cost. Something has changed though, also in this aspect. Russia can no longer disregard the cost the way they used to. If they wanted to mobilize and overrun Ukraine, they could do it. But the cost, and the cost of occupation, would prove too high and your high command knows this. Russia in general is very good at poker and calling other countries bluffs (the way you play with Brits is painful to watch how they make retards of themselves constantly) but this time it was you who bluffed and whose bluff was called. Hm... let's stop here for the time being.

I don't follow your logic

There is precious little that you follow, Milo, apart from too many retarded YT channels. Give up youtube for three months and in this time read sources from both side of the conflict, think and analyze. Then come back and talk to me. But you have to promise - no YT for at least three months. Zero.

Their defeat became just a question of time.

This is also why China will eventually be the only global superpower. They managed to avoid both the Western and the Russian mistakes, haven't degenerated as much, and kept their internal coherence. We are entering the Age of the Dragon.
