Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 29

.....I wonder if Putin will now leave Ukraine alone and attack Finland?

Finland opens door for US nuclear weapons

Helsinki - This nuclear bombshell from NATO member Finland is unlikely to please Russian despot Vladimir Putin (73). As the Finnish government explained in a press release, Helsinki intends to relax key nuclear restrictions and secure new military options within NATO. The Finnish cabinet plans to permit nuclear weapons on its own soil in the future - from transport and storage to deployment. This is intended to serve national defense, collective defense, or military cooperation. The planned changes are to come into effect as soon as possible after parliamentary approval.....

....Armament on Russia's border

As early as the beginning of March, the government announced it would review the existing complete ban and create new defense options. The Ministry of Defense spoke of "legal obstacles" that would have to be removed for Finland to fulfill its NATO role. This stems from Finland's new course since joining NATO in 2023. At that time, the alliance's borders expanded to Russia by approximately 1340 kilometers - this means the Scandinavian country has grown since the beginning of the Ukraine war to one of the most important front-line states in northern Europe.

The situation is significant: In 2021, Finland decided to procure 64 F-35A fighter jets from the USA. These aircraft are designed and certified for the use of nuclear weapons. For years, this has fueled speculation about potential nuclear cooperation with the United States. Should the deployment actually occur, Finland's F-35 fleet would gain considerable importance within NATO. ....

Trump working with Putler to scare Europe into paying more waste for NATO, in exchange for a third of Ukraine.

Not enough data. So, it is hard to predict. Given what we (Poles) know about Russian mindset they would first make same 'test aggression' on a NATO country, other than Finland, some low hanging fruit in their estimation.

.....the first question which did spring into my mind was actually:

Would they still be able to take on Finland (or any other second country additionally to Ukraine) in the first place?

Would they still be able to take on Finland (or any other second country additionally to..

If they intend to attack Finland, they would first sign a peace treaty with Ukraine (truce seen by the Russians). Arm up, prepare and attack Finland after creating a diversion (Middle East, Africa or South America or U.S.A internal affairs to paralyse or slow down enough to capture enough land in Finland and present a "Well, what you gonna do now? We there! No nukes"

If they intend to attack Finland

With the army of absolute "wolves" we raised in Ukraine, Finland would be an absolute walk in the park.

With the army of Finland that fought in the 30s-40s - there is no comparison.

Russia reduces an amount of military power equivalent to Finland - on a monthly basis.

If on April 1st you had a Finnish army - on May 1st it doesn't exist. That's the factual estimate of what could happen.

I think you guys have no idea the scale of resources that have been involved in this war.

We spend more than America (Hegseth asked for $200B to 'destroy Iran'), to finish Ukraine.

Russia will obliterate Finland and the Baltic states - if it had even 20% of strength free.

HaHaHaHa!

You are a pathetic victim of Russian propaganda!

If, after 4 years, you cannot beat Ukraine, not a NATO member,if you think Russia can beat Finland, even without their NATO support, you are seriously deluded....

Russia is fvcked.

NATO has essentially got bankrupt while supporting non-NATO members like Ukraine and Israhel. Would a moral and financial bankrupt defeat Russia and their vast military | natural resources - it is doubtful.

Russia is equally morally and financially bankrupt.

I think they will lose the war and quite soon.

Russia reduces an amount of military power equivalent to Finland - on a monthly basis.

A slight exaggeration on your part, Bobi.

Finnish army in wartime is 280,000 soldiers plus around 900,000 trained reservists waiting to replenish existing structures at any time. Reducing that in a month would seem to be outside the scope of your RMO commanders' abilities.

And you wouldn't be fighting Finland alone. Americans can sh*t on their alliances but Poland won't, so to the number of our Finnish allies you have to add 600,000 strong Polish army after full mobilization, with 1,000,000+ nominal reserves.

3 million angry Poles and Finns might be somewhat difficult to "reduce". So, any fantasy of attacking a NATO country moves us from the current retarded military operation scenario straight into a small armaggedon.

Here's hoping. *fingers crossed*

Volodymyr Zelensky said this month that his forces had - for the first time in history - seized a Russian position using exclusively unmanned systems, meaning aerial drones and ground-based robots.

Given the US reliance on last century technology ("parachute a big bomb and hope for the best"), the EU may see an opportunity in Ukraine's tremendous advances in military capability. In result, they could welcome Trump's NATO un-invitation and move to build a new defense system with Ukraine at its center.

What we need now is PolAm to tell us that the Ukies are running out of manpower and will collapse in 6 months

Was surprising to see how much progress the Chinese are making in robotics and they seem to have overtaken the US. I doubt they will be sending any robots to their North Nigerian frenemies though.

Another defeat for the North Nigerian rapists - this time in dusty Mali

Proud tribesmen are pushing these drunken idiot scum out of their country. They also killed the corrupt NN stooge defence minister at the weekend.

Disrespecting one's enemy reflects a lack of class, Cms. I really wish you would stop being such a vulgarian.

They deserve respect ? These mercenaries in Africa are more than just vulgar. They are scraped from the lowest rungs of North Nigeria and yes their use of sexual assault and torture against the local population is well documented.

Still I suppose they built some nice metro stations

These mercenaries

Oh, sorry. I just saw "NN rapists" and didn't even check the link. My bad. Mercenaries are scum of the earth - looting and killing people in random countries for money. F*ck 'em.

But if you disrespect Russian soldiers (proper soldiers who swear an oath to their country), I will react.

Bobko, stop listening to the Russian propaganda... it's clouding your mind.....

Stop watching brain-rotting videos! They are not just clouding your mind, they are creating for you an alternate dimension of complete delusion.

You stop posting cheap YouTube videos made by a Bangladeshi teenager in his free time to harvest a few bucks from gullible Englishmen, and post instead some well researched paper or article - I will take you much more seriously.

I never reject any well argued points from anyone, but the videos you post... are simply exhausting.

A slight exaggeration on your part, Bobi

Fair enough, and I apologize for getting carried away.

But one thing you said was questionable - Polish help to Finland.

Even the Nazis were barely able to help their Finnish allies... you know - because of geography. How is Poland gonna help Finland without leaving its ass fully naked?

This is what I was expecting of the Ukrainians to at start of this conflict if it escalated. With materials and metals from all over the world at it's disposal and fighting a semi-isolated Russian army thinning out it's population. The huge soldier ratio will turn to a disadvantage for Russia. A destroyed robot has no family that will make grievences for Zelenski.

Why the disrespect? :( Have I ever disrespected our Russian enemies?

It's like saying "Polish honour is questionable". :(

How is Poland gonna help Finland

By mobilizing and going to war. The moment you invade Finland, Wojsko Polskie will roll into Królewiec and Potatofuhrerland.

You don't know Bobko as well as I do. I'm sure he didn't mean the disrespect. We all sometimes say things we don't actually mean.
