It is winning in the sense that each day more and more Ukrainians realise that their future lies in close ties with the West. And more and more of once Russian-friendly Ukrainians realise that Russia is a rogue barbaric country which must be kept at bay out of Europe due its imperialistic savagery.

Ukraine has broken the yoke and is free while Russia will remain a prison for its citizens for a long time. That`s already a huge victory for Ukrainians.

Now it remains to be seen if powers in Ukraine will surrender, sign a peace treaty giving up lands and increase tensions during peace time with Russian occupied land or win a peace treaty where Russia will have to give up land.

Either way slavic world suffers from this catastrophy and I blame Putin for this mistake and his thug like mindset. It has backfired, giving ground to U.S to increase it's influence among Slavic states to a larger level, it has given Poland more influence and paving it's way for Poland to grow to be a larger player in the region. Yet the threat of meddling in Slavic world has strongly diminished as long as any country gets a stamp of approval from Poland which, is quite easy due to PiS being in power and their corruption/shortsightedness and lack of improving the economy at large from a governments standpoint.

As long as U.S.A is focused on earning money and making trade it will be beneficial to Slavic world, but the moment the U.S decides to minimise their arms industry and pull out of Europe politically, especially in Eastern Europe. It would create a vacuum Russia wouldn't be able to fill, so question would be if it would be filled by: Poland, Germany, Turkey or China.

And now the US confirms no F16's for Ukraine. It was not going to happen. Ukraine needs to ask for the A10's in storage and they probably will get them as they are designed for air to ground attacks.

In positive news, Ukraine will invest 550 million in drone production. This just as more and more reports are coming out about how effective the Ukraine drone crews are at killing Orcs and taking out tanks.

In other interesting news Israel attacked and Iranian drone production plant. Strange how Iran who isn't supplying Russia wink wink with drones is suddenly targeted. Damage unfortunately was minimal and all jihadists are now back eating camel.

No, the US won`t supply them, either. That would cost too much and Am taxpayers would get really mad. Biden administration has to contend a huge opposition which frowns at the aid.

There are 300 of them in the western US sitting in storage. To maintain them, for whatever reason also costs tax payers. Poland however just sent a bunch of MIGs that were in parts and in storage on the down low so that will help. France saying they will also send planes now. My bet is planes from France, Poland and others, backfilled by US. Those warthogs are better off being maintained in the EU.

Poland is the major provider of repair services for Ukrainian armament. Not only Polish KRAB howitzers are repaired but also other ex-Soviet stuff like tanks.
