rtft - yes obviously.

This story is falling apart faster than a mexican toupee in a thunderstorm....

Harry might have to look a lot harder for examples of rampant Polish criminality....

Erm, nobody is even slightly suspicious of this model?

Everybody is at least slightly suspicious.

oh I dunno, not want any cameras in her face for a while as she gets over the traumatic experience?

It looks like she's not particularly bright.

Hmmmm, I wonder and personally, even though I obviously can't say for sure, call BS on this.

Herba's computers (and his brother's) as well as mobile phones etc have been taken by the police for examination - that will probably establish what happened.

So far, the only hard forensic evidence is that he sent a ransom note.

According to the glamour model's mother, Beata Ayling, from Poland and living in London, her daughter 'wouldn't lie'...

'People are making up lies about my daughter. She is recovering now after what has happened. It has been terrible for her.
'It will all come out when she is ready to speak out against these lies.
'She has had a terrible few weeks. As her mother, I was very worried and just want her to recover so she can speak out against the lies.'

Sadly there's unlikely to be any shortage of those any time soon.

So far, the only hard forensic evidence is that he sent a ransom note.

And emailed a newspaper to sell the story.

Well that settles it!

Of course, she's a good girl, isn't she. Wants to work with animals and children, admires Melania Trump as a role model for women and wants to bring about world peace.

And emailed a newspaper to sell the story.

Joyce McKinney and the 'manacled Mormon' all over again.

Really? Is that a focus of your sad live? If you hate it so much why don't leave? Why insists on staying in Poland? To bring your viral hate and frustration of all things Polish on PF? Even politically you side with Soviets not Poles.

You make it sound as if criminality were unique for Poland or Poles. Also I don't understand why you focus on criminal Poles abroad while dwelling in Poland. You can find a plenty of examples of criminality in Poland, unless your Polish is so bad that you're unable to communicate in that lingo at all, beside the most basic stuff. Why linger in Poland if that is a case? Like a heavy fart you only sour the atmosphere for others.

Sounds probable and we can only feel sorry for brat Harold and brat jon357 who have fallen for the story of kidnapping ...

Aaaah they were just trying to 'show us' that while we 'unfairly target' Arabs and people from the middle east for kidnapping women, it's actually Polish guys who are normally responsible for this.

The news that 'the kidnapper' contacted the media to sell the story is probably the most telling. What kidnapper does this?

It seems this guy has some serious insecurities and wanted to big up how 'dangerous' he was. As for her, a great opportunity to make a name for herself as a former kidnapped model.

I hope they both get seriously punished if this turns out to be a load of bull, as I suspect it will.

who have fallen for the story of kidnapping

Really? Looks like you haven't picked up on any of the nuances here...

the story of kidnapping

Of course the ransom note that he sent is unlikely to aid his case in court...

You are all crazy, I clearly see. Only talks while brat Pawel rot in prison.

brat Pawel rot in prison.

He should grow up if he is no a criminal and learn that sanding a ransom note won't be considered a prank but a serious offense and there are consequences.

What he can learn in British prison is that madness represent biggest virtue.

Er, one who wants money and knows that newspapers pay money for exclusive stories but isn't bright enough to understand that newspapers are generally not supposed to pay criminals money.

If this guy supposedly wanted to sell her over the dark web, why on earth would he want to bring any media attention to this? Think for a second. You have a 20-year-old woman imprisoned in an apartment to sell her and you're going to get in touch with the media?

You want this to be real so bad don't you, even though everything points to it being a crock of crap.

He's clearly not the sharpest of people, is he.

Think for a second. You have a 20-year-old woman imprisoned in an apartment to sell her and you're going to get in touch with the media?

Personally I can't put myself in the mindset of somebody who kidnaps a woman to sell her but do feel free to share the insights you gain by putting yourself into that mindset.

You want this to be real so bad don't you

It is real: the ransom note and confession make it that. It's a pity that the usual suspects have to make excuses for and to try to minimise the crimes of a man who is from the nation they self-identify as.

You have to snap out of this imaginary world you have created for yourself where you think that certain people on this forum, including me, do nothing but defend people just because they are Polish.

It is you who immediately puts up a link to any article that suggests a Polish person might be guilty of something [unless of course they are in PO or somehow related to them]. What is your aim?

Believe me I have met plenty of nasty Polish people in my life and know people who have even helped some Polish people who were in need and later turned out to be nasty pieces of work with a criminal past.

In this particular case though, the more we learn, the more unlikely it is that this was a real kidnapping.

@Harry

Newspapers pay for stories regardless if they were obrained illegally or even if they're a detriment to national security. Happens all the time. Hackers or employees steal info and sell it to a news organizations.

This guy sounds like the world dumbest kidnapper

Pawel should sue British state and police for harassment, racism and slavophobia.

Just like yourself

It is real: the ransom note and confession make it that.

Nothing is "real" until proven.

This is the question, why did he post a ransom note (with photographs) online? Why did he confess to to the police that he kidnapped her and tried to sell her on the Dark Web?

and learn that sanding a ransom note won't be considered a prank but a serious offense and there are consequences.

Indeed.

in British prison

In an Italian prison, even. The crime and confession taking place in Italy. He's eligible to transfer back to Poland (and so is Chloe Ayling, if she's jailed, assuming she's a Polish citizen too or becomes one via her Polish mother) however they would forfeit any chance of parole or early release - they'd be incarcerated for the full term that the Italian courts gave them.

The plot thickens:

"The brother of the alleged captor of British model Chloe Ayling has been arrested, police have said. Michal Konrad Herba, 36, was held on a European Arrest Warrant at an address in Tividale, West Midlands."

Justice, one would imagine. If he's committed no crime, he'll be acquitted. If he's committed a crime, he'd better learn the Italian for "don't pick up the soap".

A great deal. Nevertheless you've missed the point and not for the first time; the case is in the Italian courts and he was arrested on a European Arrest Warrant.

Another interview here with the allegedly kidnapped model.

The more I hear her talk, the more unlikeable she becomes and the less inclined I am to believe she. As I said before, way too calm, and even somewhat arrogant, for somebody who went through such a 'traumatic' experience.

Im surprised she's a model. She's not even all that hot. She's above average but def not a 9 or 10.
