Kopacz wants PO to hire more professional PiS-bashing haters

What's curious is that there's actually no proof for the allegation in the first post. Some gossip hardly counts as evidence.

I wonder if you consider online activism (after all, the topic of this thread) in Poland to be a "hair-brained scheme". Interesting which other parties use it.

Well, appart from PO nobody has to spend their money for it. PO has so many natural and genuine haters who do this job for free. Now PO will pay people who probably also hate PO to spread lies online about PO being great and other parties being bad, I can't wait for that it will be funny.

In many ways that's PiS in microcosm

Excellent - welcome relief from the extremism that plagues the internet already.

extremism that plagues

Yes, the Platformers are known for their extreme mean-spirited vindictiveness, that's why their claim to fame is their hate industry. The hired haters are par for the course in that gang. Maybe they do it to hide their unkept promises. We all remember the unfinished motorways ahead of Euro 2012. The Gasport was to have been completed last year, and paedphiles were to be chemcially castrated - the great Tusk himself said so. And what has come of it? He hightailed it off the Brussels when the getting was good.

Nastiness, Polonius?

Premier Marcinkiewicz can tell all about that.

irishtimes.com/news/anger-in-poland-over-spying-claims-1.959063

Former prime minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz joined the fray, saying he had grounds to suspect he was spied on when in office and that Poland had become an "Orwellian state".

Don't forget that curiously, PiS exempted the RCC from lustracja. Why?

Premier Marcinkiewicz

What does Marcinkiewcz have ot do with PO's unkept promises? Are you saying chemcial castration is actually being practiced in Poland and that the Gasport has ac'tually been built, but the PO who are known for their extreme modesty are keeping the news under wraps?.

The LNG port is nearly finished. As I said above, the delays were caused by EU tendering rules requiring the lowest bidder wins, and thus the winning company tried the usual tactic of asking for more money.

Talking further about PiS and hate...

In an email, Bilewicz said that most members of the Polish parliament praised the study and many suggested education measures to fight prejudice. The only skeptical voice, he said, was that of Dorota Arciszewska-Mielewczyk, a center-right Law and Justice Party member, who "suggested that Polish Jews are represented by the Knesset rather than the Polish parliament."

ncronline.org/news/global/indelible-stain-hate

A conservative Law and Justice (PiS) MP has called proposals to create anti-gay hate speech laws in Poland "leftist newsspeak" and "gay fascism". - See more at: thenews.pl/1/9/Artykul/100556,Proposed-homosexual-hate-speech-law-gay-fascism-says-conservative-MP#sthash.lyy8e5LZ.dpuf

thenews.pl/1/9/Artykul/100556,Proposed-homosexual-hate-speech-law-gay-fascism-says-conservative-MP

And even crude attempts at propaganda...

In Polish schools, "unpatriotic" authors, and books by Goethe, Kafka and Dostoevsky, have been removed from children's reading lists as part of an attempt at the "purification of Polish culture".

Poor show, Polonius3.

Chemical castration has been proved to make some criminals worse - the last thing anyone wants. The gas port is coming on at least as well as most major projects in Poland and certainly compares well to the mess PiS made when awarding contracts (teraz k**wa my) for Modlin Airport (and they'd been already kicked out of office by the time the problems left for PO/PSL to sort out had happened).

Hard to know however how the current PiS flap over a rival party's modern campaigning methods are anything to do with the two examples you erroneously introduced.

modern campaigning methods

Venom and vitriol are modern campaigning methods? Your clever rhetoric is reminiscent of the "Endlösung" (final solution) and "workers paradise" of two previous masters of euphemism.

5 Jun 2015 #43
Far from modern; as old as the hills even - and in fact the only significant (if that's the right word) party in PL who specialise in it are the PiSuarzy.

Btw. Regarding your 'endlosung' comment, check out Godwin's Law..

Godwin's Law

The framers of that law were probably the soft-on-Soviets propagandists of certain ethno-religious origin who somehow can't see that Stalin was by far the worse monster of the two.

No matter how many on line trolls PO will hire it won't make any significant difference.

As amply demonstrated on a daily basis in Torun and on Corpus Christi by the entire episcopate.

Actually Kidawa-Blonska confirmed that PO not only wants to hire internet trolls, but also they want their members to start acting as trolls. They even organized some "trainings" for the PO MPs. No wonder polish jokes are still around.

Sorry, but if the polish government spokesman openly says something as dumb as that, you just can't help thinking that the whole polish government is a joke. And as far as I know Poles elected their own gov.

So we can only hope macieriwicz and mastarelek will be on TV daily because everytime they are, it shows what kind of party it is :) But as for now they seem to hidden in a cupboard :)

that the whole polish government is a joke.

The present government is a joke. Tusk was sweeping the serious problems under the carpet for years (one of the few ones he managed to get through was increasing the retirement age, however). Kopacz should have re-shuffled her government as soon as she became Prime Minister. She did not, so she was forced to do so after some clown with the funny surname STONOGA published some documents on the net. The voters are likely to see it as a total failure to get things done when there was time for it. The governmet which recedes before such a grotesque figure as Mr. Centipede cannot be treated seriuously!

Quite. They are both electorally toxic. Fortunately neither is good at keeping their mouths shut if there's a reporter with a microphone (and even better a film crew) anywhere around.

Interesting, given the topic of the thread, what sort of online activism the PiSuarz opposition are trying. Only one thing is a given: that they are doing it already.

When is it going through you that those are genuine people who write hate comments about PO on the internet? If you could write in Polish you could write hate comments on PiS too, it wouldn't make any difference because you'd get close to 100% thumbs down by genuine PO haters and those that Kopacz will hire (from your tax not mine, I don't pay tax in Poland) they'll get crashed too.

I totally agree that letting a weirdo lika Stonoga running her gov. makes Kopacz look silly. And now she's making even a bigger ass of herself by forcing Kidawa as the sejm marshal (hope i'm using the right term). It almost looks as if she does that on purpose to lose the upcoming elections.

So you want to be given a voice in the running of Poland and will use that voice to vote PIS but you won't put your hand in your pocket to pay for it. Perhaps instead of hiring professional PIS-bashers, PO should take out advertising space in which to reproduce the comments of typical PIS voters.

He doesn't run it. And is in big big trouble for leaking confidential documents.

Premier Kopacz has dealt with it well though.

No, I will give my vote to Kukiz

Perhaps PO should quit the parlament which is what most of Poland wants.

He has no program. At least Polska B had one, namely Smoleńsk. He reminds me of that Canadian guy Tyminski.

It's Kopacz PO vs PIS thread
