not really Jewbollah is here with crusade. ;-)

Honestly I met some Muslims in my life but none of them were to be called fanatic and I met some Jews (mostly here) and I have to say at least 50% of them are fanatics with pine nut (not peanut) brain.

pgtx do you work for Procter and Gamble Polska z o.o.?

Because believe it or not, there also Jesuses in Thailand.

I never saw a huge public sculpting of Jesus in Thailand when I have been there.
perhaps you have?

I believe everyone should be allowed to express their beliefs

So what's the problem then?

Where does it say that a public funded Buddha can not be erected in Poland?
You are just making up a non-existant issue.

Hey, you can say what you want

Hey Arien, you can also say what you want.

I don't actually expect anyone else to do as I say or whatever. So I'm not going to apologize for my opinion,

What are you talking about?
This is a discussion forum, I think the people who say that these people are the same that supposedly committed atrocities should make an apology but I see nothing in your opinion that would warrant one. Why do you even think that is what I mean when I voice my opinion?

for as long as other religious symbols of this magnitude aren't accepted in Poland,

Where does it say that?

which you know is true if you look at 99% of the ''Polish'' replies here.

You know there are very very few Polish people posting here.

It is about the mentality of people who build these kind of abnormalities. They belong to the same sect as the cross loonies. This money could be given to a sensible charity helping people. No to extort money from them.

It is so much PIS. So much Kielce 46.

It is a mad thing for you to say that people who build a statue cut people's faces with razors and burn them in barns.

I see you got some stock. They don't do such products. I just thought you are simpleminded and you use part of your PG login as a nickname.

They belong to the same sect as the cross loonies.

Why don't you look for cock to your bum to release pressure.

Anti Jewish, homophobic and illiterate.

Not a bad combination, I must admit. Certainly says "Poland B" to me.

Good! You have learned something it took me 2 days. I understand lesson needs to be repeated couple times.

Spot on!

Would you like to expand such a deep and essentially sophisticated thought.

Why don't you look for cock to your bum to release pressure.

cock in bum wouldn't release pleasure for the receiver, it's actually block it up.

Don't make fun of gays, Jesus had two dads and a *ahem* virgin mother

ITS A FECKING JESUS STATUE! WHO CARES!

Exactly,
its not like it'll make any difference to anyone really, it's just a piece of stone made to look like the renaissance depiction of a character from an ancient version of a fantasy book,

Jesus was a jewish man from 2000 years ago, there's no way he was taller than 1.5metres, no way did he have long flowing hair, it would've got in the way when he was being a carpenter with his earth daddy, plus a gold crown? the poor lad could only afford to be buried for three days theres no way he had a gold crown

If you want you and your comrades can build bigger monument, Che Guevara for example.

- I'm far from comrade attitude, boy. Where did you get this impression. Just because I try to make a rather unbiased fun of ridiculously weird thing like this doesn't prove a thin about my political beliefs - but your invectives just did show that YOU are biased as much as you can be.

Check how many adverts got your favorite szmatławiec Gazeta Wyborcza

- I don't like it either.
Here comes the usual stuf: if anyone dares to say anything about RCC etc. then they must be: Jews, read Gazeta Wyborcza, be communists, like Tusk, collaborate with the Russians etc. Way to go my friend! That's the best way to put labels on people. If that is the only way you cope with the external world then I truely pity you [but to be exact I don't really care, I just wanted to be polite] :D

will of people

- certainly some peoples' will. With interest. And lack of reason maybe.

voluntarily are willing to pay for it

- Oh, wait a minute, doesn't every Pole despite their faith pay in taxes for The RCC? I know they do. Free will, huh? And tax reliefs and repossesions - this is about free will and volunteering?

In case of Stalin statue it was tyrannically imposed on the people by a tyrannical state and they had to pay for it whichever they liked it or not!

- no difference here then if you put it this way.

The fact that you cannot see it make you an biased idiot!

I will not be disparaged by a person with a limited sense of humor.

I never saw a huge public sculpting of Jesus in Thailand when I have been there. perhaps you have?

Not huge, no. But there are plenty of Christian statues there.

So what's the problem then?

I've mentioned it three times by now, maybe four times? (Five??)

Where does it say that a public funded Buddha can not be erected in Poland?
You are just making up a non-existant issue.

''It'' doesn't say that. A lot of Polish Catholics say that, and if you believe something else then I'd say you're a little naive, because the more traditional Catholic people in Poland aren't really known for their open-mindedness or tolerance towards the religions which aren't exactly mainstream.

Hey Arien, you can also say what you want.

I was hoping you'd say that!

What are you talking about? This is a discussion forum, I think the people who say that these people are the same that supposedly committed atrocities should make an apology but I see nothing in your opinion that would warrant one. Why do you even think that is what I mean when I voice my opinion?

I'm sure you've noticed the term Rabid Jesus-hater and a few other nice words.

Where does it say that?

People do. Look, I know how most Polish people reacted to me when we've had all kinds of little discussion about religion, and I would like to call some of them downright intolerant and aggressive towards everyone who isn't a good Catholic. So why would they be any different towards symbolism of other, not-so-mainstream religions?

You know there are very very few Polish people posting here.

True, that's why I expressed myself in percentages, and I didn't mean just in this thread, but all the other threads regarding religious subjects aswell.

which you know is true if you look at 99% of the ''Polish'' replies here

Link please :)

From an American, where they have the world's largest ball of twine.

sgtsdf

I know how most Polish people reacted to me when we've had all kinds of little discussion about religion,

My point is most people on these forums are not Polish.
Look at what happened with the cross in Warsaw, most people here IN POLAND were completely against it.
PF is NOT a representative of Poland.

which you know is true if you look at 99% of the ''Polish'' replies here

I disagree.

You should come here more often, you can buy me a beer :)

Welcome to the Régime totalitaire de Radio Maria!!!

I would more say WELCOME TO SOUTH AMERICA!
They have a huge statue of Jesus in Brazil or somewhere if I recall... stupid as hell!

I don't want Poland to become an American banana

If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to erect a statue of Lucifer somewhere close to that one, with the angel wings and all.

;P

You been smoking again? You know what kind I am talking about

that, so far, our country hadn't a statue of Jesus of proper size, and they
decided to supply the deficiency. Chapeau bas!

You insane?!

Construction of the statue is being funded through collections by local people.

So if people don't like this idea and would been happy to ripp the idea to shreds it's anti-individuality and the masses controls the thing!

I have said it before and I will say it again the plebs have no idea what to really do!

So why would they be any different towards symbolism of other, not-so-mainstream religions?

Because the people wanting them build are maybe not that high like you and don't spit on everyone in their face!

You know there are very very few Polish people posting here.

I am still the Norwegian? ohhh...

It's in Rio, and it looks over the city, on the edge of a ridge. This one in Swiebodzin isn't majestically looking over the city :( Just another ball of twine...

I will not be disparaged by a person with a limited sense of humor.

Why do you feel an urge to talk about things you have a limited idea about, in a way that make you look like an idiot ?

I say, show some respect and you can expect respect in return, otherwise don't be surprised !

I don't want Poland to become an American banana

too late !

I have said it before and I will say it again the plebs have no idea

Generally I agree but for local community there are different rules ....

Do you have a problem with the statue?

Wow,
how about new economic housing for people in the village or investing in a new church-owned power-plant, create some jobs for local people.

Build a park for kids or state-of-the-art recreation center with an indoor swimming pool,

maybe a big a$s library with a computer center with free internet access for 10 years?

Perhaps a catholic school, or sponsorship for some research, or fixing up local roads?

nah fuk dat let's build a giant Jesus with no windows.

Havok, all great ideas but nothing beats Jesus and Radio Maryja. Got it? :)

Gotta keep people in check on their knees and praying or also...no heaven for you..too bad.
Burn baby burn.
