German legal discrimination against Polish speakers

Don't call me kid.

What do you expect? You're a student and you post fairy-tales. :)

If you have never heard of white supremacist groups shouting in public streets

And you can't read either. I said "...openly in a college"

Also, it's not like the German girl said that in front of a class. I didn't say that. Me and my buddy were talking to her and that's what she mentioned to us

Well, then why did you say "She was preaching about how German people...". Preaching and talking privately to two persons are two completely different things.

Can you google this guy in your press?

I tried actually as I worked through this thread before and I found nothing, absolutely nothing!

If there would be a reasonable case the papers would had been all over it..

BB and 1jola, try this: google.com/search?q=Wojciech+Pomorski+Jugendamt+hamburg+Bergedorf

It seems that the guy has beaten his ex wife and his kids in the past, and the Jugendamt overreacted afterwards with their way of providing "child protection".

1jola:
One thing's for sure, once you start with personal attacks, it's clear that you realize your argument, on it's own merits, is week. So there are two reasons why I don't need to parse your replies sentence for sentence, like you're enjoy doing.

It's a shame that you lived among the rednecks here and considered Walmart a cultural event. I'm surrounded by some of the best educated and smartest people in the world.

I freaked out about the Brevard 'cause I forgot that I put where I live in my profile and thought you were a hacker. My bad. Still, attacking the place I live, or assuming knowledge of my experiences means that you don't want to or don't know how to debate on a subject.

Preaching does have a primary meaning that you guys are familiar with but this is English; words can have multiple meanings and so it is ok to say she was preaching to me and my friend. Stick to your German bratwurst. I'm an American and I think I know my language better than you.

Obviously you guys don't like what I said because the truth hurts you inside. Why else would you be so inclined to deny it?

Perhaps you guys are secretly racists yourselves and you got really furious when I said the German girl is getting screwed by a black guy hehe.

I think that anyone living in any country has the right to decided for himself is he wants to learn the language and be able to communicate with others. If he does not want to that is his problem he has to live with the disadvatages that would present.

To prescribe to others how they are to live their own personal lives shows a disrespect for fundamental freedoms and human rights.

The way the Merkel Regime acts is no different to the way the Hitler and the Honecke Regimes acted.

It is disgusting and should not be allowed if Germany wants to be a member of the European Union.

Hey, a South African is teaching the Germans about racism. How's that for a change? I understand your grudge, but that doesn't change the fact that your comparison is utter nonsense.

*nods*

Now that sounds more plausible!

Merkel Regime

ROFLMAO,

hey Hickman, I know all about you and your mad cause! Your children are far better of without a madman like you, seriously!
Your ex-wife made the only right choice!
Your children must be guarded AGAINST you, you are crazy man!
But they have grown up happily and healthy without you by now....

What is there to get?

If you agree with the South African that the current German government is comparable to Hitler's, then you belong in a mental institution, my friend. As I said: you don't get it.

I've never met...

... and I love you, too. :)

I wasn't even talking about that...

What was your comment on South Africans supposed to mean?

Hey, a South African is teaching the Germans about racism.

I had a good laugh about that one too!

Perhaps you guys are secretly racists yourselves and you got really furious when I said the German girl is getting screwed by a black guy hehe.

Which one? The same what just before "preached" to you (and your friend) about the beauty of her white race???

You are one sick kid, aren't you...

....you seem to have a thing for german girls though...

Look man, read the link I posted above which shows that my use of the word is ok.

I'm a sick kid? I'm just stating what that ***** said. I honestly don't care if you don't believe me. The fact remains there are many people in western Europe with this Nazi ideology.

....you seem to have a thing for german girls though...

Erm...not really. Believe what you want though. I don't really care what the nationality is of a girl.

Believe what you want though.

Hey...I'm going by what you are telling here...german girls seem to preoccupy your brain...(no wonder though)! ;)
They are preaching to you...you observe them wandering away with blacks...

Couldn't get one for yourself??? Poor kid...

I share your disgust.

There is one race, the HUMAN race.

Amen.

against blacks it's racism, against jews it's antiseministic and against polish it's fashism, not racism
because polish and germans are the same race - white europeans,
with the slaves and germanics, today it doesn't matter, because slaves went up to the Elbe (river in germany) and germanics went up to central poland, than the german east-settlers which went up to the wolga and a german studie said that about 30% of the germans have slavic blood and only 7% germanic blood in germany... so now somebody tell me somethink of thoroughbred...

but now to racism in germany. i never saw serious fashism agains polish people. when somethink like racsim or fashism happend in germany, it was always against turks or other islamic immigrants. i know on the 1. mai there is always a demonstration of the nationalists (so they call themselfs, but for everybody they are only nazis) but every year this demonstration gets attacked. In 2009 a polish man gets killed in Germany. but he was killed by 5 turkish men. I think racism here in germany is not as a big problem as in UK or Ireland, the people here are very overdrose at this topic, but racism and fashism is unfortunately everywhere, not everybody has learnd of the past.

It's your problem. ... The reason for that is the fact that English is not an official language in Poland.

And the official language of Germany is not Polish. So him wanting to speak Polish is his problem.

Supervised visits are not there to control the content of the conversation.

You fail to understand why supervised visits are ordered. The supervisor has to report back to the court regularly and as soon as the father has shown (through his interaction with his kids) that he is fit to have unsupervised visits and the kids has shown that they want him to have such, the father will have unsupervised visits. The point is that the supervisor needs to monitor the interaction in order to be able to assess it!

For those of you who think, there must be a valid reason for all this, just wait till a nut case wife accusses you of sexual molestation of a child or some other sick lie. Most of these cases are revenge.

No they are not mostly revenge. A few are but only a very small minority, very very small. And as we now know, in this particular case there is a damn good reason why he's on supervised visits only.

The article is about discrimination against foreigners, ie. forcing parents to use German with their children.

He isn't being forced to use German with his children: he's being forced to use German in front of the court appointed caseworker.

Supervised visits do not mean that they must monitor the conversations between parents and children.

Yes they do mean exactly that.

she obviously is a class A bi*ch.

Would you care to reassess that statement now you know he's got convictions for beating her and the kids?

Supervised visits are demening and often result of the woman's lies.

Absolute bollocks. My girlfriend's ex has got several convictions for violence against women (as in all three of his ex-wives) and children (his children) but it took until he very nearly killed her daughter before the (Polish) court thought that supervised visits might be a good idea.

The fact remains there are many people in western Europe with this Nazi ideology.

What do you call 'many'? Compared to the total population, the number of real (neo) nazis in Europe is tiny (probably comparable to the US, but it's hard to find any statistics), and they definitely don't have any influence on a government as this nutter from South Africa implied.

I have no problem with the German government requiring foreigners to speak German in public when conducting business, public affairs, etc. I wish that the State of Arizona (where I live) and/or US government would implement similar laws. I am f… tired hearing Spanish and listing to the people who can’t speak English; who expect everyone else to accommodate them in Spanish, many of them illegals. Every time I call my bank, I hear recorded messages in English and Spanish. When I receive my voting ballet, it is in English and Spanish, and on and on and on. This issue has been written about in newspapers and raised by many Arizona residents. I understand how the Germans feel. When I immigrated to US, I did not expect everyone in US to accommodate me in Polish. When in Germany, do what the Germans do.

has forbidden their father to speak Polish to his daughters during
their controlled meetings.

well that was an official meeting and I bet that the German guy didn't speak any word of Polish so it's more than understandable that he didn't want them to speak Polish because he wouldn't understand what they're saying.

When I was in Poland, I was told so many times that I have to speak Polish while I'm in Poland and I was only a tourist and this is really ridiculous.
