Kinsey said that 50% were on a spectrum in the middle.

Think of this. All those gay bars jammed with people that appeared in the 90s. Where were the customers 20 years before? The world wasn't full of bachelors or spinsters, was it?

And in the Middle East? There's no correlation between race/nationality and sexuality. They just get married and put up with it.

All you can see in the giant of our times, Homosexualism or homophobia as the essence of our existence? Literary icon of the Solzhenitsyn caliber comes as a gift from havens, once in the lifetime, and homophobia was a minor part of his heroic (dzielo literackie) writings, I have red Gulag Archipelago many times and never noticed any homophobia. But you, the little Yorkie barking at ankles of a great man, seeing mothing but the essence of your existence.
Shame on you.

Lyżko was a master at releasing "lyrics" that you knew were written in English but had no idea what he meant.

Unexpected admission, I wonder why you made an issue of Solzhenitsyn alleged homophobia? You have no idea, what was like, being a żopnik,in the times of Solzhenitsyn Russia.
Don't ever try to compere the treatment, consequences of being a żopnik in England and Russia.
Kids glove treatment in England and treatment worst then a leper in Russia Do you understand that was prevailing opinion of almost all the Russians at that time, and Solzhenitsyn was a product of that environment
So, if he wrote anything negative about homosexuality, just confirmed the reality, I would be surprised
if he was writing contrary to a public opinion. I can assure you were not made the judge of the morality of the world population, so show some respect to the memory if the great men, who risked everything, his life included, in order to expose unthinkable derangement that human being is capable
of.

Nobody mentioned that.

Did he?

@Przelotnyptak1
I just read up on the matter and apparently Solzhenitsyn only mentioned the subject once in writing, to criticise the Soviet law that criminalised it.

Nobody mentioned that.

Nobody but you Jon, unless alleging existence of a mysterious imposter writing under your name.

Did he?

Don't play dumb with me, it doesn't work, you smear, great man's name, don't be evasive, defend your point.

why don't they have the ability to stand up to their government like Poles and..

Because they are living in a dictatorship. It's usually unhealthy to stand up to the regime.

Because they are living in a dictatorship.

BFD... every "defense" of the horrible, nasty "russian people" ends up strengthening the thesis that russia is a terrible country and ignoring the fact that russians like their horrible, retarded and violent socio-political system.

I'm so done with that.... they can repress each other inside russia as much as they want and I don't care. I just want them to stop invading other countries and kiling civilians...

Is that too much to ask?

My friends who were woken up by air-raid sirens in Lublin the other night (no Alert RCB explanation and reassurance they're not being invaded?!) would definitely agree.

I don't know what kompromat Dobby in the Kremlin has over the orange ars*hole in the Whitehouse (doing an R Kelly on some underage girls?) but we seriously need someone leading the world's most powerful country who takes a firmer stance against these 'orcs'. Watching Poland's approval ratings of the USA drop from anything other than the traditional near 100% adoration has been crazy to see, and it shows exactly how much the US is f*cking up right now.

...ignoring the fact that russians like their horrible, retarded and violent socio-political system.

Proof? Sources?

Poland lived under the Polish communists and the Soviet military for a long time. You must have liked your "violent socio-political system", too, because I haven't seen much protesting during that time except for 1956 and 1980. See what I'm saying?

Ya wanna see a movie/film about the Gomulka Era, catch an oldie from the '80's "Przesluchanie" (The Interrogation)

Yeas ,1956 and 1980 is not enough? You are contradicting yourself, and don't forget silence resistance in between. It is time to put your brain where belongs,
I am afraid is getting contaminated just hanging externally

Hear, hear!
Those early years of the Gomulka Era were a difficult time for post-War Poland. No surprise about the "brain drain" when numerous Polish intellectuals, many years of whom were also Jewish, occured from 1968 on!

How cute, another holier-than-thou Pole. At its peak in 1980, the Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza had 3 million members. Silent resistance my ass - a significant part of the population seem to have liked their "violent socio-political system". You are no better than the Russians, you silly hypocrite.

Yes genius, they liked the system so much that to show them appreciation. that they violently rebel against the system. You the outside idiots should never comment, on the events you are not familiar with, you have no idea what oppression was like.
