Polish food shop blown up in the UK - result of gas "leak"?

theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/feb/26/leicester-family-feared-missing-after-shop-explosion-kills-five

A few years back an gas explosion demolished a German built tenement in Katowice city centre, back when they constructed buildings to withstand bombing from the air. That was found to be the result of some crim bypassing the gas meter.

This sounds on the face of it depressingly similar. Time will tell. This really calls for the punishment to fit the crime - life in prison with hard labour is too good for such scum.

I doubt if they constracted buildings of that kind before 1918.

Aram Kurd is the owner of the store and as with many other "Polish" stores in the UK there isn't necessarily any genuine Polish ownership.

By all accounts there were no Poles living above the shop either....

Its damn near impossible to prove a gas explosion from dna. Its not like arson using accelerants. Unless theres video footage or someone snitches theyll likely get away

I was being abstractive. I meant that some buildings were actually built to last, instead of some of the tin pot rubbish you can be served up today.

How do you know the building was constructed before 1918?

Looking at the video, you can tell from the style of the architecture of the block in which it's located, looks late Victorian. Also if you scroll down and look at the aerial photo. Victorian or Edwardian buildings definitely.

looks late Victorian.

But you refer to the Leicester building, while I was refering to the tenement in Katowice.

Oh, I see. As a matter of interest I took a look and found a photo of the Katowice building. The architecture looks Victorian. There's no doubt buildings were better constructed in those days, especially by Germans. Also the ornate mouldings etc mean it was built with prosperous occupants in mind, so quality would have been expected.

LOL ! You should have waited with that till psycho start screaming about "Polish scum stealing gas, who killed innocent English people".

Scum, stealing gas, who killed innocent people in both Katowice and on a much bigger scale in the Warsaw block disaster. But you find it amusing to mess about with the mains gas supply do you boy?

I suggest to Poles to go back to Poland. What Britain doing, where going, how provoke Slavs and how things stand, just forget Britain. Put cross on yourself and go back to Poland or anywhere else but just go. Far from it. Be wise.

Several people arrested for offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act. Suspicion of conspiracy to cause an explosion.

Thanks. We still don't know their nationality, or what's gone on though.
Poles have form for it, so a gas leak was the logical guess.

Yea, gas leak out from English queen and spread on Poles and all decent Slavs

English queen

Stop talking **** Crow, your bull is not welcome. Stick to Serbian news and cease the attention seeking. Or grow a pair.
People died here; you are interfering with this thread, but you Serbians seem to think life is cheap.

You English won`t f*** Poles in the brain to the eternity. You know it? Yes, you know it.

British scum was stealing gas

British scum do a lot of horrific things, but generally aren't stupid enough to touch the gas. Anybody who breaks the seal on a gas meter eats prison food. The weird thing about you is that you think Polish scum don't exist, but the sun shines..........:)

You English

Wot you talking about Crowie? Poles are in the UK because they have a better standard of life, and fair play to them, What concern is that of yours'? As long as they don't abuse the gas meter, endangering others, they are welcome to earn a crust and will be after Brexit as well. Nothing's really going to change. Poland is in the EU you see, a club that you will likely never qualify for - not until you get down on bended knee that is, and apologise for supporting the murderous scum that your government of the day was proven to have been.

Instead you spout nationalist nonsense and pollute this forum. And leave our Queen out of it, there's a good chap.

England is the other name of treachery. Actually, England gave entirely new sense to the understanding of term `sinister`. But, with every new day you English gets new chance to prove yourself as worthy and Slavic friendly. Use well your opportunity. Justice of God is slow but certain.

There is no indication of the nationality of those arrested.

ye there was an illegal vodka distillery in the basement which exploded.
The people arrested for manslaughter were running a Polish shop on the ground floor.
While their nationality is of course not mentioned, generally people who run Polish shops are....Polish.
Not quite sure how this is the fault of the evil English, but whatever, Crow.

actually its often indians, pakistanis and kurds that run polish shops in the uk, driving out polish run polish shops! of course they are often fronts for other activities, but nevertheless they drive out the competition!

It is obvious what has happened, stick your head in the sand if you like.
