29 dead fetuses found in a Polish village.

Polish media outlet Interia Wydarzenia said "according to a statement from the District Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów, the first information about 'the discovery of significant amounts of medical waste on the premises of one of the properties in Lutory' was received by investigators on June 10."

It added: "The discovered waste also included a human fetus and other remains that could have been human fetuses in the early stages of development or their fragments."

This might have been a backstreet clinic (God knows, there are enough of them and also small town doctors who put "pełny zakres usług (full range of services) in their small ads) however the microscope slides are puzzling.

Apparently the former owner was a patomorfolożka (doctor involved with anatomical pathologies). My assumption is that she was taking work home with her (and/or doing abortions as a side hustle).

She's under arrest at the moment....

Apparently she was. She had taken the dead foetuses home from a hospital for 'medical research' during the pandemic.

In Poland some doctors do keep body parts (e.g. dentists who keep skulls for reference) however they have to have special permission and follow specific protocols. For foetuses, the rules are probably very strict.

My neighbour is a doctor and has two skulls, however she's their registered keeper and has to store them carefully and treat them respectfully. I've never seen them.

This thing with the foetuses seems something different altogether.

There was a thing near me where a young woman set up a private funeral service for stillbirths and neonates and of course there's no registration in England. She called her business Florrie's Army and used to hang around the hospital waiting for business. She did it all from a small council house in east Leeds.

One of the grieving mothers went to pick her baby up and found it positioned in a baby bouncer in the living room, "watching" cartoons on the television and another couple found their stillborn daughter's body wrapped in a blanket on a sofa in her home, there 10 days with the central heating on. She got locked up for it.

Looking at it on google, she didn't get locked up in the end because no laws had been broken however they banned her from hospitals and mortuaries.

Wait until you read about the Hull undertakers' scandal, a company called Legacy Independent Funeral Directors where they found dozens of corpses and half a ton of human ashes and years of people in the wrong graves. That guy did go to jail.

It's happened in a few places in the world and does make the news.

There were a few cases in the States too, in the early aughts there was a case in Georgia that hadn't cremated hundreds of bodies (instead dumped in various places and families given urns with.... other stuff inside....)....


Covered very extensively in Polish media, with lot of reports and a few documentaries and IIRC a kind of tv movie...

I remember this because I think around that time there was the other scandal with a funeral directors up north. I felt so sorry for those poor mothers. Clearly that woman had a screw loose and it's unbelievable that there's no regulation! Anyone can set themselves up as a funeral director. Mental.


That's the other scandal! Another horror story!
