The chances for Warsaw to become capital of eventual Slavic confederation?

OP Crow 155 | 9,025

Well, you gave that. But how do you explain that your government is actually having talks with the EU about the issue of joining?

well, what you expect from Serbs? Serbs are brave and heroic people but they are far to be immortal.

Yugoslavia is destroyed, Serbia is object of partition, Serbs are demonized in media, NATO bombing attack poluted and devastated our country, EU and NATO hold Kosovo and Metohija under occupation, Serbian President consult Franch, German, British and USA ambasadores before chose candidate for PM.

in other words, what you expect from politicians of conquored country and devastated nation? So, expect talks about `joining`

but, at a first opportunity...

Yes Crowie, and how about answering my question? You ducked it before too. Moscow or Warsaw, what would be your preference and why?

Serbia is object of partition, Serbs are demonized in media

I know all that, and I have always pitied her. But this is mainly the consequence of Milosevic's deeds and work. Understand that I don't want Serbia demonized or destroyed. Don't you think that being part of a larger context like the EU will have loads of benefits for Serbia? Serbia is fully capable of setting up a great infrastructure and become a well respected member of the European family, but she needs stimulation and help from friends. Don't you think this and the prosperity this will bring will be much better for Serbia than just being stubborn and fighting against just about anybody else while seeking assistance or sympathy from other countries like Poland, Russia, etc, who basically don't give a sh*t?

Would you vote for Warsaw ahead of Moscow, Crow? What factors would influence your decision?

i would vote for Warsaw. i said that even among some Russian friends

Warsaw is more appropriate. i think that even Russians understand that.

Russia can expect Slavic Confederation to be formed but, Russia can`t expect to control it. Its simple as that.

Remember, Poland is in NATO and Russia, of course, isn't.

NATO isn`t serious grupation that can provide Polish security. i think that even Poles understand that.

But this is mainly the consequence of Milosevic's deeds and work. Understand that I don't want Serbia demonized or destroyed.

Milosevic?

no, no. Its not about Milosevic.

That`s EU and NATO official story - `Milosevic`.

ahahah hahah hahaha hahah hah

More appropriate?? Upon what do you base that conclusion?? Russians would NOT understand if Warsaw was the centre of a potent force.

As for NATO, you are right. The missile shield was just a betrayal but Kaczyński was very direct with Obama in setting out what Poland wants. Poles are beginning to see that NATO is an organisation for the political elite and loves business. 10 years ago, under Kwaśniewski, they didn't. I can ask my students for you about the alleged guarantee of security. I think they doubt the sincerity of NATO.

Crow

Wasn't Milosevic the one who propagated Serbian superiority over Croats, Slovenes, Bosniaks, Macedonians and Albanians in Yugoslavia?

And, who's work is it then? We all saw what happened in the past 20 years.

Serbia was core and Belgrade was capital of one vast Slavic union. In that name Serbia and Belgrade were devastated by EU and NATO.

Belgrade would be always serious danger for masters of Brussel and Serbian ideas would be always threat for elite of EU Borg.

Serbians don`t need EU approval to become `respected member of the European family`. Serbian lands and Serbs were always important part of Europe, even crucial.

EU isn`t friend. Its self-proclaimed master

Wasn't Milosevic the one who propagated Serbian superiority over Croats, Slovenes, Bosniaks, Macedonians and Albanians in Yugoslavia?

i realy don`t feel necesity to defend Milosevic. As a young, i belonged to his political opposition

But simple, Milosevic never `propagated Serbian superiority over Croats, Slovenes, Bosniaks, Macedonians and Albanians in Yugoslavia`. Realy, never

So Crow, I get the impression that you still carry the scars from the Yugoslav War and I don't blame you. Did you have any friends in Bosnia at that time? Do you think Poland really commands enough respect to be seen as a leader of a federation?

i can`t understand that most people here (by the poll) believe that Warsaw doesn`t have chances to become capital of eventual Slavic confederation

Who else, i asking you who else can accept such a responsibility if not the Warsaw, if not the Poles??

Do you think Poland really commands enough respect to be seen as a leader of a federation?

absolutely. by all means. But i mentioned Confederation

I think that Poland isn't nearly as "in touch" with it's Slavic heritage as say Serbia. Poles are first and foremost Poles, then either Europeans or Slavs with equal weight. If it were to come to pass, Belgrade would be the capital and driver of any confederation.
OP Crow 155 | 9,025

Moskva maybe?

impossible. Russia can`t be selfish in this matter. I definitely see Moscow as scientific center of confederation

I see Kiev as military center and only Warsaw as political center

Poles are first and foremost Poles

then, it is good. It is good

If it were to come to pass, Belgrade would be the capital and driver of any confederation.

destine of Belgrade isn`t as political or military symbol of Slavija but as financial center. Its about strategic position of Belgrade on the main trade and transportation routes. Desired we that or not financial flow goes across Belgrade. Slavija`s main stock exchange would be positioned in Belgrade. Central bank of Confederation, too.

You want all the gold there.

No. Central Bank in Belgrade where is financial center but gold reserve/vault goes to Bratislava, capital of Slovakia

and i see Prague as key cultural center of Confederation

it is expected that powerful Kaczynski`s spirit generate wave of positive energy all over Slavija

Poland, Warsaw proved to be worth, still powerful enough to attract attention of complete Slavic world. i definitely expect Warsaw to become capital of vast Slavic Confederation

No Poland won`t fall! Poland coming!

RIP Mr. Kaczynski

Crow:

Agreed.

But this is mainly the consequence of Milosevic's deeds and work.

Says who?

Don't you think that being part of a larger context like the EU will have loads of benefits for Serbia?

Like Greece... and Iceland... and Spain... and Portugal?

Serbia is fully capable of setting up a great infrastructure

That USA, Inc. saw fit to destroy.

and become a well respected member of the European family

Define "well-respected".

but she needs stimulation and help from friends

See above.

Don't you think this and the prosperity this will bring will be much better for Serbia than just being stubborn and fighting against just about anybody else while seeking assistance or sympathy from other countries like Poland, Russia, etc, who basically don't give a sh*t?

Kill all Russians and I will be happy.

Oh, and Croats too.

And Macedonians.

Include Serbs, as well. Let the Western Slavs live.

Why the hell would Slavs need a confederation.

what is the alternative? eternal control by foreigners??

if Slavs fails to form Confederation, there is no chance that Slavs avoid assimilation and prevent loss of their territories in time of globalization and clash of civilizations. If Slavs fails to coordinate among themselves they would have to prepare itself for merging and mixing with other races if it become suitable to leading world powers (it is already suitable to them).

Like Greece... and Iceland... and Spain... and Portugal?

Iceland isn't part of the EU. For Greece, Spain, and Portugal, the EU had a huge economic benefit. I don't think anyone would have a problem if those countries were to give the money back and leave the EU.

mixing with other races

Ever heard of Polaroids? Children of Polish women and negroids?

There's a boom of those in the world now. So don't think a confederation would stop the Polish woman's natural tendence to mix.

Serbs and Croats wouldn't agree.

Serbs are Serbs and Croats are ruled and manipulated by Germans. First Croatian victims are Catholic Serbs. Just next victims are Orthodox Serbs.

frankly, from the angle of moral, Croatia isn`t Serbian but Vatican`s problem. Then Croatia is also problem of complete Slavic world because wants to deliver on the silver plate Adriatic see to the Germany. Its not Croats who saved Adriatic for Slavic world but Serbs and Croatia don`t have right to sell it

Russians and Poles wouldn't either.

i have no words. It is idiotic if Poles and Russians continue their antagonisms.

just you dare to fails to coordinate and in a less then 500 years Poles would become Arabs and Turks and Russians Mongols and Chinese. Idiots

Like Greece... and Iceland... and Spain... and Portugal?

Greece owes it's current state mainly to her own politicians, not to the EU. In fact, if it weren't for the EU, they would be bancrupt a long time ago.

Iceland is not a member yet.

Spain - has benefitted big time off the EU. Aznar, anyone?

Portugal has only gained and brought nothing into the EU.

I don't think anyone would have a problem if those countries were to give the money back and leave the EU.

Indeed, it would save the rest a lot of trouble and money if they would. Only trouble is that if they actually had to give everything back what they received from the EU, all of them would be bancrupt immediately.
