You had Polish president Kwasinewski who was half Jewish who Poles obviouly voted for.

Oh, MediaWatch...where did you read this nonsense?

Kwasniewski is not half Jewish - it's just a smear spread by people trying to discredit him.

Discredit Kwasniewski? Only your complete ignorance of our history, and reliance on leftist press sources, can excuse your lack of knowledge obout "Alek." Does the name Ałganow mean anything to you?

According to his file, Aleksander Zdzislaw Kwasniewski, codenamed "Alek," was first registered by the SB on June 23, 1982. This was a preliminary registration under the "secured" (zaba) category. That meant that the target was approached and investigated to determine whether he could be recruited. On June 29, 1983, Kwasniewski's registration was changed to secret collaborator/agent (TW, tajny wspólpracownik). His secret police registration number was 72204. His secret police card catalogue sequential registration number was 4645. Kwasniewski's case officer was Captain Wytrwal. The agent was originally registered by Section XIV (Wydzial XIV) of the II Department (counterintelligence) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MSW) in Warsaw.

I think the fact that Kwasniewski was elected twice in a democratic vote for President by the Polish people is enough for me.

Perhaps if you had a shred of real patriotism in your body, you'd support the elected leaders of Poland irrespective of what you actually think of them. Of course, your own false patriotism means that you only support the bits you like.

Bollox!!!! A Patriot is not a blind sheep! You use the same BS that people in the states did about that moron bush...."gotta support him,he's our leader". It was a pile of arse droppings then and its a pile of arse droppings when you say it.

I second that, patriotism - more often such a poor excuse for a full-blown idiocracy

I don't support Mr Kwaśniewki or Mr Kaczyński or Mr Komorowski.
I support my country. And I support the President of Poland.

I may not like the man, but I respect the office.

This is my country and this is my President.
Even if I don't like the man who is the President - he is still a President elected by the Nation.
I have to respect it. Otherwise I would be no more than traitor.

I think the fact that Kwasniewski was elected twice in a democratic vote for President by the Polish people is enough for me.

First time he got elected due to twisting the rules on the go, second time because there was no real opponent.

We've had plenty of elections since 1945. That taught us to how to tell patriots from renegades..

Right. You don't support Bronek "Gaff" Komorowski but you do support the president. I got it.

I'm sure you would very much also support another president who is like Kaczynski LMAO!

Actually, what you'll find is that even the people who hated Kaczynski still respected him for being the President - he still was the Head of State, regardless if you agreed with him or not. There's a rather great quote by Toby Harnden where he says (talking about the Irish) that "my people are still my people even if I don't agree with them" - and that's how people felt about Lech Kaczynski.

People here were devastated after Smolensk not because of who Lech Kaczynski et al were, but rather because of their titles - the President of Poland, Commander of the Air Force, etc etc.

A true patriot would respect these offices regardless of who the office holder was.

Poles are not true patriots then, sorted. Authority cult is rather underdeveloped in Poland, traditionally, and famously. Possibly your self-deprecating friends do not represent the nation, supposition is.

Well, thank you, why did you pretended till now - you are anti-Semitic, racists and fascist nob!

Pilsudski's dictatorship was rather well liked.

He was a person, not an institution. Exactly contrary to 'whoever the authority is.'

And Poles do not need Americans to hate Russians, delph. It's a national sport. Traditional. One of top ten standard features.

I don't know - it seems to me that if WW2 hadn't got in the way, Poland would have slid further into dictatorship - probably with the cult of Pilsudski used to put a stop to any dissent.

Interesting topic though.

I don't think so. There was a significant opposition, and even common folk was getting more and more fed up with sanacja. Poles are an unruly nation.

Since I don't live in Poland, I couldn't venture a guess as to how many crypto-Jews are involved in running things there.

In the USA, they don't have to hide...They run things quite openly.

'Judeo-Polonia' is as bad as so-called 'Judeo-Christianity'.

The only Jews that run things exist solely in the mind of paranoid people.

And brag about it every chance they get.

Convenient excuse, how would it look to the rest of the world if they were open about it? After all they were either supposed to be dead, emigrated or were expelled in 68 yet here we are, not only do they exist but they seem to run the show just like in the good old days during the communism. It’s a miracle! Polish anti-Semitism for you.

Maybe most of the Jews just picked up the pieces and moved on but most of Poles are living in the past joining the small (but loud) margin of 'sorry' Jewish victims?

Thankfully, the ones ranting about Jews are the ones who are on the edge of society anyway.

Funnily enough, at least on this site, the vast majority of those who rant about Jews are plastic Polish Americans - not the Polish people.

Certainly; the love affair between Poles and Jews is in full blossom:

Tusk in Israel
"Anti-Semitism is not and will not be tolerated in Poland," Prime Minister Donald Tusk told his Israeli counterpart Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem April 8. Olmert thanked Tusk for visiting Israel on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Jewish state. He said the visit demonstrated Tusk's personal commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations. Olmert also voiced his appreciation of the Polish government's moves to combat anti-Semitism. He added that there may be a role for Poland in reducing threats in the Middle East.(A cut of the money for displacing Palestinians, and building expensive Jewish condos...JP)

Tusk said his government would finalize the issue of restitution of nationalized property over the next few months. He said that his planned "reprivatization" law would apply to all current and former Polish citizens who had lost property during and after World War II and would not single out any ethnic group for special treatment. Tusk added that restitution would not be open to negotiation with other governments.(Except Israel...JP)

Anti-semitism being anything which jews disagree with.
Look at the scum and traitors in this very thread who see nothing wrong with hostile foreigners running their government! There is a reason why "anti-semitism" is so common, look back just 70 years, you have the jewish soviet criminals carting millions of poles off to death in gulags!

Stating the FACT that jews have disproportionate control is "anti-semitic" ? They make the same claims in USA, and anywhere else for that matter, stating the russian oligarchs were all jews, that's "anti-semitic"! Jews use "democracy" to hide their actions, it's all a goddamn sham.

The jews rewrite the history books for clueless fools. It's historical fact that the jews openly ran Poland during the communist days, and it looks like they are still running poland now.

Funnily enough, at least on this site, the vast majority of those who rant about Jews are plastic Polish Americans - not the Polish people.

Because naming the jew is illegal in poland.

Indeed.

How quickly people have forgotten about Lech Kaczynski's excellent personal relationship with the Jewish community.
