Do young Polish ladies 17-23 speak any English?

Do they learn English in school? I'm looking to go to Poland when I'm 18. I love everything about Poland and the history has always interested me, I also love the woman. Very straight up/honest and direct, just how it should be. My Polish isn't very good, but hopefully in 1 year and half I will be able to know some Polish and be able to hold a easy conversation with someone :)

Just a question...

- I'm mixed race, Lewis Hamilton skin color, I know they will be intrigued by my skin, but is racism high?

Yes, most of them learn english for at least 9 years.

is racism high?

In big cities it's very low. In small towns and villages it might be a little problem, but I wouldn't call it 'high'.

Good luck!

You'll probably not know, until you post a pic of yourself. That way you can get reactions from the young ladies.

Polish women won't mind that you have an exotic skin color. I know plenty of dark-skinned guys dating Polish women.

If I went to Poland I would sight see, get a feel for the culture/foods, but I would also like to meet some young polish woman my age, do you know any places where I can meet them?

Yes, of course. Just go to ul. Grunwaldzka 27 (ul means street) in any city or town. That's where they keep all the attractive women.

Bonus points for spotting why I think this is definitely the case ;)

1.I'm passionate about Poland and it's culture and the people?
2. I'm young?
3. I'm mixed race?

[In order of likeliness]

Aha, exotic skin does make me laugh. I prefer the term un-common, instead :)

And I still think I'd be a hit with the ladies my age because I'm quite attractive, and I'm mixed race. But I'm not going for just the ladies, I go because I love the country :)

If you intened to go to Poland and pull the smooth ............oh,ffs,Im going to sound terribly old whatever I say,so...... if you go to some bar in Poland and start playing Mr Cool Blackman John Shaft, can u dig it and hit on da bee atches left right and centre.................seriously, expect to wake up in a Polish hospital, not recomended.

Times have changed, but not that much.

Dont let that put you off Poland, no one will be waiting with burning crosses,but,well....................

And remind him the OP is 18 (17?) so to try and play nice :)

I'm not going to pull any woman, as I said already. And what are you trying to say, end up in hospital? Why for doing what?

Stop spewing crap and give me a reason, thanks :)....

Also don't worry about my age, you're not going to put me off going to Poland.

On what reasoning are you calling me a troll? Secondly, pretend to be English? I have lived in SE London for the whole 17 years of my life, never lived anywhere else, and I was born here.

If you have anything worthy of me reading, I will happily read and take on board any advice/tips for when I go to Poland, but if not I will get this information from someone else.

I also love the woman.

How the hell can you know that, you are 17...

Do you think I will appeal to the ladies?

probably not since you should still be at school...

Another potential "English teacher" writes.

Hardly, the guy is under-aged to be called an adult in Poland.

And I still think I'd be a hit with the ladies my age because I'm quite attractive, and I'm mixed race.

And you have to go all the way to Poland for a lass, why not check out the Poles in your local area?

Someone is on my bullshitting radar... and i pick them up quite well...

No good reason at all other than the fact that he's obviously disturbed by the idea of a non-white man dating a Polish woman so he hopes you're a troll.

I'm not going to Poland solely for the woman, yes I think they're beautiful, and I would like to experience some time meeting some polish ladies. My local area? It's either Adult poles, and their kids. There's hardly any Polish woman my age in London.....

Think what you like, I'm just asking for advice. And I'll be 18/19 when I go to Poland, they won't know if I'm not an adult will they! I don't go around saying I'm 17 I'm 17, before I say hello to someone!

They will at the airport when they ask why you are not with an adult...

As I said I'll be 18/19 when I'll go. What's the adult age in Poland then?

And also I don't care if anyone in the airport knows my age, once I'm in the city people will assume I'm 20/21 seeing as that's how old I look....

Don't worry. I will get served. I get served in London easily, without I.D. And I can easily obtain fake I.D

Not a problem?

Oh god you really are 17...

just to let you know most places wont serve people who look under 21, even if they have ID.

I've worked behind bars before, I know about all the age limits and appearing over 21/under 21

How about, I go to Poland, and don't get served, that way I can learn. Because ATM I'm going to do what I want to do? And if it goes wrong, then I have myself to blame?... :)

How strange that black people and mixed raced people bang on about acceptance, yet they're happy to play the race card to their own advantage...

I'd love to know what the OP finds so wonderful about Poland..Why not Hungary or the Czech Republic or Slovakia or Russia..All so rich in history...with beautful cities...(well maybe not Slovakia!)

I ... KNOW I will be accepted, 100%. I didn't ask about acceptance, I asked about racism levels. Oh and btw, I see everyone the same, I've never played the race card at all.

And I got interested when I was 14, when we had a new Polish guy in my class, and I was teaching him, and he would tell me about his experiences in Poland. I Also did history as well so I know about the whole involvement of Poland during WW1/WW2 and USA and so on.......

What's up with you guys on this forum, all I did is join to ask a few questions and you're all going crazy on me:P !

EDIT: It's ACTUALLY legal for me to work behind a bar, so long as I'm being supervised WHILST pouring drinks, I can serve them without supervision. You need to update yourself knowledge sir.
