Being female it is aways really difficult to answer a question like this, because if you are slightly negative then you are thought of as just being jealous and your opinion dismised :) but by the end of my post you will see that this is not my point :)

I have a number of Polish female friends all of whom I consider to be beautiful, I have British friends whom I also consider to be beautiful. I have been to Poland many times and seen a number of beautiful women who are alongside the ordinary women who are alongside the 'Oh dear I am sure her Daddy thinks she is beautiful' girls. The exact same can be said for British women.

What I think is the difference here sometimes is belief, the confidence you have in yourself. As a child growing up we are given messages 'glasses are ugly' 'long hair makes you pretty' 'thin is attractive, fat is ugly' 'ginger hair is ugly and horrible' 'men should be tall, dark and handsome' 'women need to have big boobs' 'men need to have huge penis' so.....if you grow up to be a tall dark and handsome man with a large penis that is exactly the way you have been told all your growing life what a man should look like so your confidence is sky high :) and everyone can see that confidence and be drawn to it in equal measure to the attractive looks. However, if you grow up knowing that this is the ideal but you happen to be short, with ginger hair and glasses with an average to smaller size penis then it is going to (potentially) effect the way you see yourself fitting in with the stereotype of percieved beauty, therefore (potentialy) your confidence is lower and because of that you don't portray yourself to your best ablity.

I suppose I am saying beauty on the outside starts with what you believe on the inside. Polish little girls are told they are the most beautiful in the world, they believe it all their growing lives and they have that confidence for when they are women. They are confident and exude that belief which makes the average looking polish woman very attractive ad beautiful :)

Alas, I am British so the stereotype (without knowing me, just based on my nationality) is that I am ugly, fat, don't care about myself and make no effort for my partner.

It's not my stereotype, I don't have to agree, just saying :) The polish folk that I speak to, their friends and in general when I am there, one of the first things that is said to me is that I can't be English as I am not fat :)

Poor people tend to be fatter as they are uneducated and eat a lot of crap, its cheaper to eat unhealthy. You don't see too many fat English chicks in Kensington, London. Venture out into the less affluent suburbs and they're all fat, English, Black you name and the Poles are well on the way too.

So if a poor, uneducated man wins the lottery he'll still be fat? lol, But seriously, it's true that educated people (usually) make more money and thus can afford to eat better, healthier food. It's not though entirely true that poor people have to be fat because they can't afford to eat better, it's probably due to being stupid and lazy!!. Buying food at a supermarket and making it at home is no doubt healthier and cheaper.

basically, yes, unless he/she marries a gold digger and he/she changes his eating habits. The amount of ignorance surrounding diet is quite astonishing when you think about it, not that many people give a shite about what they eat, they just eat what tastes good and what fills them up for their dollar.


depends on the perspective, lots of poor people in Poland are not fat because basically all Poles eat the same food. If Poland becomes more capitalised (which it will) and processed cheap crap food become more economical than the organic natural produce available to everyone then they will see the same pattern.

Its no coincidence that USA is the most obese nation on the planet and that the UK are right behind them. We are leading capitalist countries and that shows big time in the populations weight problems. Essentially its businesses making profit in the name of tasty, cheap crap food. Weight gains are gradual so its not a specific problem till you witness the trends and analyze the underlying reasons.

I have to agree. Why are there so many dumb people on this site who think only Polish women are pretty and Germanic women are ugly? Clearly these morons have never been to Norway or Sweden.

Beauty is so subjective...I seem to be very attracted to Polish men, not all but most and generally the ones i am attracted to have a similar appearance square faces small foreheads very blue eyes dark blonde to light brown hair tanned skin and a very polish lookin in my opinion nose and mouth that is a longer nose witha slight bubble on it and an upper lip that is a bit bigger than their lower lip. I have had 4 serious relationships all of the men had polish ancestry go figure it certainly isn't planned. Polish women seem to be found in higher concentrations as models along with a lot of other eastern european women slavic features seem to be ideal for photo beauty in my opinion polish women who have a traditional polish look are absolutly stunning and quite often look better without make up on. My boyfriends sister can wear natural beauty like no one else i have ever seen she just shines.

I'm from Germany and to be honest I think polish girls are more beautiful than Germans. They are more natural, they don't act like men. Usually they don't wear so colorfull things, shirts, trousers like germans. maybe because they don't have so much money for buying too many things or they just used to be more modest - I had a girlfriend from Poland and she was quite modest. I also met a girl from Poland in Portugal in this holiday- she was working there and she was also so beautiful and really natural- never had make up. I met a lot of girls from a lot of caountries. I can believe than brazilians are so beautiful etc- but looking for not so tropical, exotic girl but just really beauty girl- I think poles are one of the best :)
