They seem nice, but could Polish girls be "gold diggers"?

While this is a good topic in a way as it does bring to light what some of the female species are after, lets remember that it could be any girl, polish, english, spanish jesus i bet the ones on mars sometimes do it too.

I think in your case mate you were just unlucky, has anything like this ever happened to you before?? I know its hard but don't this have an effect on you in the future. Your going to have to learn from your mistakes and remember the tell tail signs that you missed last time around and look out for them in the future.

As for the money issue, i would seek legal advice however you should know that you can only counter claim if you have evidence to support the fact that you paid for all of these things. Reciepts etc etc etc, i mean at the end of the day as you well know, the legal system works on evidence and fact. Without proof that you have actually paid for this list you have written it will not be submissable in court.

As for the emotional side, which will probably be a lot harder, as i said above you just need to accept what has happened and learn from it so that nothing like this happens in the future. While being aware that any woman you meet has the same potential to be a gold digger just like this one, you must also remember that she probably will not be as well.

As for all the people who are asking you about being ugly, stupid or anything else, just ignore that, some people get off in kicking somebody while their down.

Good luck in the future

Are gold diggers "Polish girls"?

Find somewhere with the right kind of geology to yield large amounts of gold and do the comparison.
Goodnight and God bless.

I think you're right. The OP is probably a very genuine person who thought he was helping his girlfriend out by getting her through college etc. It's a pity Apul that you had to pick this one girl who didn't appreciate it but you wouldn't have known that at the time.

Look to the future now and as tornado says, learn from your mistakes. Don't give everything to the next girl, if she genuinely likes you, she'll stick with you even if you give her very little.

Good luck. :)

Get the best layer you can find!

Either that or get a crew of scallies together, send them round to hers and let them explain that either she's going to transfer the contents of her bank account and the title to the land back to you and sign an agreement renouncing any claims she might ever have to your property, or they're going to get busy with the pliers and the battery drill.

Harsh. But fair.

lets end it on this song

yeah, thats a great song for this situation, maybe apul you should put this on your Ipod to remind you of the gold diggers that are out there. If you ever meet a girl that is to good to be true then listen to this song and take a rain check :)

thats a good analysis of the situation, so back to the saying that goes something like: 'that which dosen't kill me only makes me stronger'

their is nothing wrong with a bit of force but really, to a woman?? I mean fair play i could drill as many holes as you like in a bloke but a woman or kid..........

Thanks everyone for the advice,
Life goes on,

she'll find it hard now as I found out that she thought she could leave me and get a job straight away,
Guess what recession,
On nobody wants an architect now, two for a penny.

And the only job she can find waitress only at weekends.

Please someone stop me, can't stop laughing
No resentment,

Thanks

like always you're very diplomatic :-) Well, you're right about that. To be honest even if some of them are gold diggers, I don't see anything wrong about it.

The thing is, there must be some that go for rich men because they love them, just as they go for poor men for the same reason. I've known many money makers who are so obsessed with their careers that their woman will always play second fiddle.

nd now you claim all Polish women are gold digger

They are and they do but then all men get sucked in by women, especially Polish women. I think that there is a high level of lesbian genes in most Polish women and that is where their nastieness comes from. Stay clear of all Polish women-they are simply trouble.

Someone has been taken for a ride. People often take when offered, there's nothing new about that.

Exactly right, I don't think Polish women are anymore golddiggers than any other types of women or men for that matter. If you put yourself in a position to get taken advantage of then that's what happens. I agree with you Seanus.

Also, any guy who answers this question in the affirmative implies that they have a lot of experience in the matter and is loose themself.

Let the buyer beware or in the case of picking up a foreign girl, you get for what you pay for, the simply reality is that a attractive girl is not going to fall over backwards because the prince in her life comes from the west, no no its the money, I might add that Russian girls are the worse for that, they are ruthless, after marriage is give, give and give then pay, pay and pay.

As a foreign guy with a Polish girl you will always come second to her family and culture...even if you are married.

Any personal experience you'd like to share with us? I'm serious.

I was too smart to fall into this one, I have seen and heard many examples, I'll leave the details to disgruntled Irish and English victims.

You rarely see women paying after a divorce...the men nearly always get shafted on that. Marriage is way more beneficial to women before and after. Men don't get an expensive gift before (like diamond ring) and we sure don't get paid after like most women do.

First it is "whine"...I am tired of seeing you guys spell it "whinge" all over the forums.

Next...most guys do so believing the girl will remain loyal to them so they are spending money on them because they want to as you do when you care about someone. When the girl betrays you then you rightly feel like you got screwed.

Really girls feel the guy who gives them money is worthless. It is feked up chick logic. Not that one cannot deal with that but if you get in depth it is real sh1t.

And there is a difference between individual desire to help and true blackmail.

Try to understand their insecurities, though. They work hard and life is an ongoing obligation (Bittersweet Symphony springs to mind). Marriage provides them with some semblance of it. I have never agreed with divorce provisions and I was put off from when I studied Scottish divorce law.

If we assume Polish women to be equal to Western women, then why should Western women be able to receive more material goods and things than their Polish counterparts?

sorry, i know this is old but do you know how f'd up this rhetoric is of yours? If we are to equate a person's worth to what material goods they should or shouldn't have access to then god help us all and just smash us with an asteroid.
