Polish and other languages.... singing about love

Starting a separate thread to prevent drift.

The question has arisen about what languages are best for singing about love.

Here's a nice Italian entry:

For me, both of those songs are a bit......meh. Instantly forgettable.

French is the language of love in my opinion.

I don't speak but I understand a fair amount of written Portuguese from knowing Spanish and a short course (for those who know Spanish) I took years ago.

I love listening to Brazilian, European Portuguese? Not as much... some vowels would be nice.... rather than Falshportguesh?

Don't forget Maurice Chevalier. He could speak English with only a slight French accent but bulled up the accent while singing, for much the same reason as Carmen Miranda and Yma Sumac.

There are few accents as sexy as the Parisin one.
