vetala I think that your point of view is very interesting.

I don't want to have children for the same reason why I don't want to have a dog - too much trouble, filth, costs and in addition to that I wouldn't be able to leave house whenever I want for as long as I want for some 20 years.

wow! that's a bit harsh
your mum had a different point of view obviously

Perhaps one day nature will kick in and I'll start wishing for kids. It won't happen anytime soon, though

you've got a great chance with more women becoming mothers around 40.

sooner or later you'll find yourself alone in the sea of babies, nappies, mothers and fathers - bored and isolated by other people's temporary limitations

but then - there's A J to rescue ;)

We have to respect the opinions of minority.
We all know the most common path: family, babies, all related stuff.

So, it is an opportunity here to discuss the other way, this one that does not include kids.
Polish women have the first role to explain us, and of course anybody else who know about their thought on the topic.

It's not harsh if that's how she feels about it. Then it's just the truth and she's being perfectly honest. (So no one should give her any **** for that!)

:)

Children usually grow up aswell, and when they spread their wings.. Well, then what?

but then - there's A J to rescue ;)

I don't know if I want children or not though. (Just not now!) I used to want them when I was much younger.. It seems like I used to be too serious when I was eightteen, and now I'm reliving puberty or something! Funny isn't it?

You are not alone!
When you know too little about kids, everything seems easy.
When you get older and see how difficult is to grow them up, you think it twice!

Partly when people grow older they dont want kids coz they dont want change, they are less flexible and they already have comfy lives which a baby would eventually destroy.

PF ;)

feeling like regressing as well :)

nope; not everyone; I have a troubled teenager (still teenager because under 20) but tell you one thing: as much as I didnt want to/couldnt imagine my life as a mother, and was telling my family and friends 'I will never get married, I will never have a child; maybe a dog" that much I've changed my mind when I've had my child.

It's easy to make your mind up without knowing a single thing.

Partly when people grow older they dont want kids coz they dont want change, they are less flexible and they already have comfy lives which a baby would eventually destroy.

In their minds. But overall I agree with you.

Its not harsh at all she has it down perfectly reasonably in my opinion, that is exactly what being a parent is. I have a very young girl, although shes the apple of my eye, i wouldnt change her for the world and all that i dont want any more. Not any younger than 4 anyway, its constant work just when you thought it was safe to sleep wham shes up, when you want to do anything the opposite happens as she has different ideas.

I'm utterly powerless with her, she'll rule me and theres not a thing i can do about it period.

Constant worry and pressure like youve not experienced before, she even plays like she's choking to get our attention, I want many more children but through adoption or foster not ours thank you very much... my wife feels the same.

Truth. Just wait until she hits 13 and develops that special attitude that only a 13 year old can have.

Ahh the snip, im not having the snip, UK birds would demand it but Poles not really, in any case im not being snipped - period.

my cousins tried until their boy came long. Third one lucky ;) I'm pretty sure they'd try 'until'

There seems to be a totally different outlook on having children in PL as apposed to the UK, hell not even seems there is.

but i got even somehow and cant complain ;)

So you have a boy and a girl?

my idea of being a parent is doing totally not what i like to do now after long day of work

Well thats basically what it boils down to and much more.

i need vacations now more than kids... i work for an engineering company... i used to work with kids and i know it's not easy; motherhood is full of sacrifices i'm not ready for just yet...but i will be one day...

I watched procedures done on both the male and female of the species on the tele.... Much less invasive in males than females. And it can be reversed (80% ) if need be. For a fee.

one of the reasons i know why some woman don't want children is becuase they can't have kids. Can't have kids due to an illness, so once they find out they tell the man they don't wanna have kids. As many men want kids but the thought of not having scares them. This way the woman gives the man the option to find another better woman. This is a delicate situation.

If you visit sites like fotka.pl do not be surprised.
These sites are used to find 'quick friendships' or 'friends with benefits'...
therefore by putting 'no children' in their profile they are letting you know that they use contraception...

There is no good polish socialnetworking site to recommend as even n-k has been criticised for the behavior of its users. That's why the migration to facebook has started

..and then?

;)

feeling like regressing as well :)

I'm not feeling like, I actually am.

xD

Do you like much younger girls? are u dreaming about red sports cars?

I guess twenty is young enough? Not really, usually a few years younger, my own age or older. No, I'm dreaming about black sports cars, and blondes on the backseat.

;P

if so then it's called middle age crisis.

Thanks, I was worried something was wrong with me!

work is my plan for now... but a girl and a boy in the future... actually 2 boys would be perfect...

Are you sure? My mother had three boys, and now she's permanently stressed.

;P
