this is a polish (or slavic) phenononem for sure. the fact is the vast majority polish men are unattractive. how these two creatures (the polish man and polish women) come from the same gene pool is seriously one of the great mysteries of the universe! i'm not kidding.

so, how do they get the girls? i think it's a numbers game and nothing more

so, 75 percent of Polish women are beautiful, and at least 75 percent of the men are meatheads...that leaves a lot of ugly guys very lucky. it has nothing to do with 'confidence' or any of that other crap. it's Poland, you HAVE to be in a relationship! so the women take what's out there. it's not like they can wait around for the rest of their lives for a non-hideous guy to show up (which is what they'd have to do if they had western standards). as for the men, well, i can guarantee you that these shaved headed, sport suit wearing, shoulderless (they don't have them), assless (something pointed out by a British women to me...apparently they don't have them either), guys would NEVER score a women in the same stratosphere in the west.

of course polish dudes don't know this, and lucky them, so they think it's normal to have a supermodel they can screw then be indifferent to on a nightly basis. BUT they have no idea how sexless and lonely their lives would be if they lived in say, New York City (where I'm from) where they'd have basically two options, either A: internet prn or B: fat chicks. end of story.

I think that Slavic men lower considerably the expectations of women by landing them to what is available.If US men had the same attitude with Russian or polish men,US women would show a lot more different behavior.The same is true for Mediterranean countries where they develop princess syndrome coming from the male rat race.

Every now and then I hear something similar coming from my Polish friends (male friends of course) "How can that woman be with such a fugly guy?", and just like in the case of this thread it's always with this undertone of "she would be better of with me!". It's hilarious. What makes you guys think you know better than that woman what is attractive for her? Yeah, it must be the numbers game… but maybe, just maybe the guy has what that girl is looking for? Good humour, intelligence or maybe he is remarkable in bed?

PS: And polish women do look like their fathers. At least mine daughter looks like me. :)

Men seem to forget that women are not such visualizers as men. And people have other qualities besides looks.
I’ve visited some Western countries and men there didn’t strike me as more handsome or attractive than Polish men. The only difference was that in Italy they were far more bold than Polish men.

I think every beautiful girl can easily find a guy with good humour and intelligence who is also physically in her league. There's absolutely no need to date an ugly guy to find intelligence and humour.

So hot girls who date ugly guys make a fool of themselves. They are sellout girls who are too lazy/stupid to find a better looking guy who also gives her what she wants + more satisfying sexual experiences.

Its called money. Women are extremnely insecure and vain so naturally any time they see a guy with money they know they can get something from the guy. Of course if you are a physically unattractive guy with lots of money you know you can buy women whenever you want. I'd bet a million bucks that those girls are out banging good-looking guys while the "ugly" guy is at work.

I see this same scenerio in America all the time.

I have a friend who always rents a Mercedes S-class to make an overwhelming appearance on first date.

Today i again saw a very ugly guy (when he smiled he looked like Stephen Hawking) with a goodlooking girl, i would give her an 8. I really don't understand this. Does she really think this is the best she can get?

I live in west London where there are plenty of polish men and woman. The woman tend to be absolutely stunning, well presented and very polite, and I must agree that they tend to be with very average looking men with short hair cuts, no necks and dressed in tracksuits.

comfort.. ugly men stick closer to home. Life is a bit tougher for them and they and often have better personalities. though sometimes ugly is a personality disorder in itself, means they don't take care of themselves ( and likewise can't take care of anyone else). from my experience anyway.

gotta look on the inside, though. Sad to say, most of the really good looking men I 've known in my life, and a few have been true beauties, but they were w-h-o-r-e-s too, they get so many offers.. I have to admit, it's real difficult to trust a good looking man and I have often heard the same of myself, even when it wasn;'t true.

Men have things that women don't have to worry about like going bald so they just shave all of it off so they can control nature and get there first. Men aren't encouraged to cultivate their good looks the way women are, so they might not go out of their way to enhance their looks. Most the time they aren't pretty boys. Some might be ruggedly handsome though. A lot of men look silly with bald heads because their heads are shaped funny but they either don't care or don't realize it. Women look better because often their hair is long and hair tends to enhance one's attractiveness while baldness tends to detract from it.

If we could just encourage these men to look like models instead of grizzly guys you would see a lot more attractive men out there.
