Most poles I met were engaged in that age bracket.

Weir I live in Poland whole my life and didnt notice that. U seemed to have bad luck.

Also according to a few online sources too.

My internet source tells me something different and it reflects my insights.
Coud yuo quote some source? its intresting.

So a high divorce rate is to be expected.

Poland has one of the lowest divorce rates in Europe.

Warsaw has the highest divorce rate in Poland. But it's still lower than most other European capital cities. On the countryside the divorce rate is very low.

Coud yuo quote some source? its interesting.

ok well i know wikipedia is hardly a reliable source but here it is anyway:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_at_first_marriage#Europe

The poles I met were in the rural areas so I guess it makes sense with youth marriages.

Interesting, it says 30 for male Brits. I have another 6 years of freedom then lol.

Agree with that statement... just like you brits dont go to work drunk but on coke (its always better... u can work harder and more efficiently)

Definitely true in the media!

You have to go fast to hospital or vomit before all alcohol will be absorbed from your digest system...

I have actually performed gastric lavage on poisoned people myself, but never on someone who was only drunk.

You do realise that if someone has ingested enough alcohol to be semi-conscious (i.e., "poisoned"), it's too late to stop the poisoning by removing any alcohol left in their stomach? "Stomach pumping" is dangerous even if it is done correctly, even in drug overdose, and is NEVER done "routinely" in poisoning:

Grow up. I am talking about other substances these people take.

No you weren't, you were replying to a post where drunks were mentioned, not "drug takers".

Smart arse, when you are on the receiving end of these people you would not be so smart.

I've already been on the "receiving end" of hundreds (if not thousands) of these kind of people, and I'm still here, so I'm clearly smarter than you are, "Guest" :p

Amathyst have u been ever on your own person in Poland?

The he/she knows nothing about Poland, It lives in a cocoon and likes to shout from the safety of the uk. Quite a sad lonely person really, nothing in its life but can use strong language as a means of communication.

3 times...Have you been to England?

Btw Amathyst whats ur connection with Poland.

I joined this forum in 2006 before my first visit to Poland, I googled "Polish pleasantries" and it brought me here..I like to be able to at least say "please and thank you" its just the way I was brought up.

U post here a lot but I dont know yet who u r and what do u do here?

Why do you post here? Its forum..people do that dont they? Strangely enough..

do u know what is "wieÅ› popegeerowska"?

No, but I have a friend coming tomorrow, I'll ask them to tell me what it means...

Yep about 30% is low in modern Europe... ;)

Either Polish men are lying tvats in England or the figures are wrong...either way something is a miss!

So why are you here Zeb? Creating your "Im addicted" thread after a couple of weeks, I dont feel the need to do that after 4 years! Do you like attenion? No change there for some Polish girl evidently not getting enough attention!

such a toil on society

Are they toiling away? How ironic your spelling mistake is! It really did make me laugh. Unlike your pathetic rantings of your view of British society!

in jest?

phrases.org.uk/meanings/many-a-true-word.html

Better for your English would a more simplistic version:

phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/32/messages/1050.html

*dont say I didnt teach you something tonight*

We also have another saying:

Wax on wax off!

thats something I'll leave you to find out for yourself.

Very big cities always have higher rates.

17,2 % is the total divorce rate in Poland.

And we should remember that Poland has higher marriage rate than many other European countries.
