Talk about good parenting (Polish family leaves their 2yo at a gate's airport)

I couldn't find an english article on the matter.

Anyways real short, its a Polish family in Katowice airport who just leaves their 2 year old at the gate because her passport has expired and then they take of on a 2 week holiday to Greece.

Now once they return Police will investigate if they are capable of taking care of a kid.

I hope the trip was worth it..

Happens every year in the UK. Some parents treat their Kids as accessories!

this situation is so messed up. they leave the child with the lady behind the counter- saying that the grandfather would be there in a minute to pick her up. two hours later he shows up.

1st question- why would the lady behind the counter agree to this? she should lose her job.

Of course- how stupid are the parents- I hope they lose custody and spend some time in prison- that is ridiculous- and the grandfather agreed to this garbage??

I don't see what the problem is. A caretaker was coming to pick the child up, child was left in secure place. WTF were they thinking taking a 2 year old on vacation anyway? ;)

Don't we have enough truly horrible things we do to each other to sensationalize?
