Using less American stuff in Poland

M&Ms

Those are just inferior knock-offs of the fair superior British sweet named Smarties, which have a history dating back to the 19th century.

Prince Polo tastes better than Kit-Kats, at least to me.

Depends which Kit-Kat you're talking about. The ones made in Japan are better than the ones made in Europe but not as good as the ones made in the UK. But Prince Polo is certainly better than the 'Kit-Kat' made under licence in the USA, those are utterly vile.

Milky Ways
Reese Cups

I used to like Three Musketeers bars... do they even make them still? I wonder why they never made it to Europe...

I also used to enjoy Watchamacallits and $100,000 bars...

Now I have taste nostalgia for a bunch of American processed crap that Ihave no access to.....

Probably for the best....

That's what's sold in the EU as a Milky Way.

No, Milky Way has a layer of caramel, three musketeers is all nougat/mousse... now that I think of it chocolate ptasie mleczko are pretty close in concept (if not quite the same taste).

Of the ones I can get, at present I like kitkat peanut butter, twix salty caramel and the old standby bounty (I remember when many pronounced the vowels as in Polish (boh-OON-tih) I also remember orange pronounced as three syllables and the ng as in finger.... nostalgia rules!

@mafketis

Three Musketeers are still going strong

100 Grand I see every now-and-again. Whatchamacallits, not sure if they still make them-I was never a big fan.

Those Primce Polos are good.

Milky Way has a layer of caramel

Only in the USA is a Milky Way defiled with caramel!
US on the left, real thing on the right:
Milky Way vs imposter

You mean these 😀

Yes, they have other flavors as well:)

Giving up candy and fast food is a great first step though

It tastes good, but it's horrible for your health and teeth. I haven't been to a fast-food restaurant in years:)

US on the left, real thing on the right:

Imagine being so consumed with TDS and anti-American hatred that you attack even the stupidest things. My candy bar is better than yours! Waaaaaaaaaa!

Of all the things in the world to be mad about, you chose caramel. That's not cultural critique, that's toddler energy with a keyboard.

That's not cultural critique

That's wanting to not be morbidly obese and to not have diabetes.

Another failed attempt at deflection by a TDS afflicted person. Lol

Remember what the leader of NATO just told you Eurps! Youre nothing without the USA protecting your sorry ass!

Youre nothing without the USA protecting your sorry ass!

As you've been told many times, but clearly lack the intelligence to understand, Latvia alone has more troops in Europe north of the Alps than the USA does. And most of the few US troops which are in this region use a vehicle type that has been proven in Ukraine to be unfit for a modern war in Europe. You really should stick to washing windows by day and stroking your knock-off Glock at nights.

We always come back with 3 or 4 boxes of those. Love the Ptasie Mleczko.

Defiled? DEFILED?! How dare you?! Such blasphemy. The greatest candy bar on the face of the Earth is not defiled...it's delectable.

You should go the Confession!

If you want a Mars bar, have a Mars bar. Very occasionally I do and even more occasionally I do. But if you want a lighter alternative, have a real Milky Way. Although I'd personally prefer a pint of beer to either of those bars.

Typical small planet Brit thinking. I'm American, I think in galaxies.

Well perversely I quite feel like taking in the Melania movie which I see is in Polish cinemas from tomorrow. Matinee tickets are 15 zloty.

I will take my own food and drink though

This film cost Jeff Bezos 43m dollars to make, of which 40m was a straight up bribe to the Trump family.

Far too often, US movies, even if dubbed, overtake foreign markets, squelching any trace of local talent, so that many Americans aren't even. aware that Poland and certain countries have a cinema of their own.

Milky Way has a layer of caramel,

That looks like a Mars bar to me.

Ptasie Mleczko.

Vile :( Has a chemical taste and looks like chocolate covered polystyrene. When I go to Poland I always bring back Wawel chocolate with the different centres.

Toblerone for me.

Toblerone for me

Yeah, pretty good.

My initial point remains, American "Candy" is crap, European Chocolate is usually pretty good.

As you've been told many times, but clearly lack the intelligence to understand, Latvia alone has more troops in Europe north of the Alps than the USA d

You clearly are too stupid to comprehend that I wasnt talking about troops - and neither was the NATO Chief when he told you crying leftards"Keep Dreaming!"

You're talking about troop numbers, while the head of NATO is talking about nuclear deterrence.

Europe cannot afford a credible nuclear shield on its own and never has. That's why it still depends on the U.S. for protection. Boots on the ground aren't the same thing as strategic deterrence, and pretending they are doesn't change reality.

KEEP DREAMING LAZARUS THE LEFTARD! LOLOLOL

Do you mean the original Ptasie Mleczko or some fake? e.g. Milka etc.
Lazarus  4 | 821

Europe cannot afford a credible nuclear shield

Clearly we're never going to fall short in the supply of abject idiocy from PF posters in America. Both the UK and France each possess enough nuclear warheads to cause a nuclear winter that would end humanity as we know it. Fortunately those in charge in Moscow aren't quite as idiotic as certain Americans.
Joker  2 | 2753
30 Jan 2026   #149
The UK and France do not have enough warheads to create a global nuclear winter on their own. That's not opinion, that's basic math and yield analysis. Their arsenals are designed for deterrence, not independent world-ending capability.

This isn't analysis, it's chest-thumping to cover the fact that Europe's nuclear deterrent still depends on U.S. backing whether you like it or not. lol

idiotic as certain Americans.

Insulting Americans isn't an argument. It's what basement dwelling limeys do when they run out of one.

You are right. So we are going to start building one in Poland

With what money? It takes trillions, and you don't have it - just like the NATO chief told Europe. "Keep Dreaming."

Poor countries like Pakistan and North Korea have them

Or we can borrow trillions like America does
