@Honest! Unfortunately true and not only! A few weeks ago, according to GW, several cases of "looking different" foreigners being beaten up were reported in Poland, including a Black French guy in Warsaw.

Without being beaten up (fortunately it does not happen so often but of course it is wrong whenever it happens), foreigners who look/are different are not welcomed in Poland (and in a lot of other countries too) so why do they come in the first place? To me, it does not make any sense to go to a place where people won't accept I am because I am X or Y. Why coming to Poland (or whereever else) when risking bad treatment???? I don't necessarily mean to be beaten up as I also include being insulted, being stared at, spat on... It is needless to say most unpleasant so why coming????? In my close family, there is a black girl and I would strongly discourage her to do so if she ever felt to come over, just for a short visit. Why looking for trouble? I don't get it...

Why come to poland or anywhere else and not be accepted?
Easy answer. Because the violance, poverty, backwardness, corrupt oppressive government, demented religion and much more are so much worse in their home country.

Marsu: what about those from western countries coming to Poland for touristic visits? Also when things are so terrible in their home countries, is Poland the best country???? Nope;)

Marsu: 99.99% of such foreigners are temporarily in Poland (tourism, business or studies) so how can they be so desperate to put up with risks to be beaten up in Poland???. Also, a lot of those are citizens of western countries so I seriously doubt that their situation is worse in ... The Us, Canada, western Europe, ,Australia.... To me, they are plain stupid....

Unfortunately in this point i need to agree.

Even if you are not muslim, the simple fact that you look like one can be risky in Poland nowadays.

Few weeks ago at Lodz i was asked for a stranger in the street if i was Arab. I said that i am Brazilian and practicing catholic and then he said that he confused me because of my beard (it was lent and i dont do vanity things during lent). Then after that he said "dobrze" and left.

And that is to be blamed on Merkel that fillled Europe with potential terrorists and now everyone is afraid of that.

I was talking about their original countries not the west. They are in the west because of the reasons I mentioned to begin with. In polska...poland is heaven compared to all of those original countries. Best country...who said that...not me. Best country is irrelevant it's all money. If you have money aplenty poland can easily be the best country for you but anywhere really as long as there is freedom. There are people who live in china, russia, north korea who think they live in the best country because they have money and get what they want. Also no point listing the usual to me I certainly don't think usa, canada or uk are worth living in. I would much prefer to live in poland but I already have money so I don't care. Obviously if you are trying to make it still poland may not be for you and places like uk offer more opportunity. Personally I don't care if they get beat up, they are nothing to me and offer nothing to european society. I certainly won't be hiring any of them for my bussiness there in poland or here. You can call it racism or whatever I call it incompatibility. The 3 people that work for me there also think they are in the best country because they get paid the zloty equivalent of the wages in australia because we are succesful and can afford it and we want stability and loyalty. They certainly won't be leaving for any of the dirty holes you people so love to refer to as great countries on this forum to live with non europeans.

@Marsu: what's the link with visitors to Poland being beaten up because looking different? When a Erasmus student or a businessman gets beaten up in Poland because happening to look different, what's the excuse????? Among others, a black guy from French Antilles Islands (people there have had the French nationality since the 18th century) was severely beaten up some 2 weeks ago, what excuse do you give the agressors?????

My opinion is that Poland is well known all over the world for being closed and intolerant so people looking/being different should not come and that's all.

People who are really desperate don't seek asylum in Poland and you know it.

What's the link? I don't know. Are two examples is all you have because far far more people died here in australia just last month for looking different let alone got beat up. The link is media beat up and bs.

@Marsu: I agree with you, there is NO link but I got puzzled when you wrote that foreigners are here in Poland because it is so bad where they come from that they have to put up with Polish hardship. Examples of visitors to Poland being beaten up unfortunately are numerous. I also seriously doubt that Erasmus students, businesspersons or tourists come from places which are unlivable hellholes ;). However, although I think it's disgusting and criminals should be punished, I believe would be vcitims should not go to places where they won't be feel comfortable and problem solved ;)

Look I agree these thugs should be locked up. There wss some murders of indian students here in the last 18 months it was splashed all over the papers in india. But...no word here. That's how the west deals with this they censor the stories and sweep the problem under the carpet. Someone gets beaten up in poland and everyone knows. To me it looks like media wars and the west is still best at it plus they have more money. You can make someone look worse by pointing out their faults and hiding yours and I definately think that is going on still. For example we here are a multicultural country but we torture asylum seekers and our indigenous poulation while making friendly overtures to communist reigimes. It is all in how its publicized and what is not.

" I believe would be vcitims should not go to places where they won't be feel comfortable and problem solved ;)"

classic blame shifting there...in fact why not take it further and say that only pale skinned people should be issued passports..?

Also, your little passive aggressive winky face is still making you appear...not quite well. Just saying.

"My opinion is that Poland is well known all over the world for being closed and intolerant so people looking/being different should not come and that's all. "

No. Poland is not well known for being intolerant. Except by the socialist and left wing media vehicles that you follow and your upper-class circle of multikulti socialist friends.

Closed and Intolerant country are Kuwait, Saudi, Iran, Pakistan, Afhganistan, Somalia, etc. They behead people that reject their Islamic Religion.

Poland is just a country proud of their culture and heritage, different than the cucks of Western Europe that suffer from severe white-guilty induced by socialist media.

Rozu: there are a lot of places, even countries, where I would not feel comfortable so I don't go. Poland is not a "friendly" place for "different" looking people so they should know what risks they face ...

The brainwashing by media isn't just it. It extends in the Anglo sphere to schooling, fake history, skewed facts and their best.... omission of fact. I can give many examples and prove it too. It starts at school and continues in the media. This is true in uk as well as here in australia and definately canada and usa. Fake numbers in budgets, outright lies, fictional events seem to pass easily here. Fake british history from the spanish armada to war in Afghanistan seems to be ok for brits as long as they are portrayed the winners. Couple of losers bashing some indian in poland is easily translatable to the whole of poland being like that even though there has been multiple murders back there at the same time. In london. They still play the game, eu or not. It took me years to discover just how fake some of this is and how much bs is sold in the west so easily. So I assume there is more than a couple of bashings in a few weeks or is that laughably it?

Honestly being darkskinned in Poland now is almost as dangerous as being white in South Africa or Zimbabwe. We have honor of being almost as violent and hateful as black africans(at least some of them). Foreigners fears leaving their homes in Poland. natemat.pl/155839,przez-hejt-prawicy-nasilaja-sie-ataki-na-uchodzcow-ktorzy-mieszkaja-w-polsce-od-lat-boja-sie-wychodzic-z-domow

Even Polish repatriates are being discriminated wiadomosci.onet.pl/opole/polska-miala-byc-dla-nich-rajem-miejscowi-kaza-im-sie-wynosic-wyzywaja-od-ruskich/n544g5

I'm pretty sure not only beatings but also murders of foreigners will be soon on the rise.

Closed and Intolerant country are Kuwait, Saudi, Iran, Pakistan, Afhganistan, Somalia, etc. They behead people that reject their Islamic Religion

There is religious extremism in those countries but Poland is probably much more racist than those countries. Not sure about Somalia but being beat up just for being white is much less likely in arab countries than it is in Poland. Only black african countries are that racist and brutal but with africans it's somewhat more understandable due to colonialism.

People who are really desperate don't seek asylum in Poland and you know it.

Seeking refugee status in Poland at point would be pretty much masochism or suicidal tendencies.

yes but that is like saying that it is a woman's fault she got raped, isn't it? Perhaps she was out in a bar late at night, perhaps she was wearing a short skirt. ...

Essentially let's blame the protagonists, not the victims.
I know what you are saying though.

Rozu: ????? What are you talking about? I was just confirming Honest's mail according to which physical aggressions are very common in Poland against people who are "different" and media such as Gw do report them. What does it have to be with one girl being raped???' 2 weeks ago a French black guy was beaten up and ended up in a hospital in Warsaw (he had his picture in first page of Gw), did he commit rape? If so, justice needs to take care of him, not the mob.

Yes, Poland is dangerous for people looking different and they should not come

think about it a bit InPolska. it is classic victim blaming. (if they hadn't gone there, they wouldn't have been attacked..ergo it is their own fault). this is very similar to victims of rape being blamed rather than the perpetrators.

Please don't get aggressive or start a flurry of personal insults followed by winky faces, if you don't get my point. Thanks.

Thing is if you go to Poland then you should take into account that you can be killed or crippled for life there.
Egyptian in coma is fighting for life. Many poles support killing ''********'' foreigners you just need to read some comments.

You don't even need to look like a muslim. Ukrainians were attacked too so it seem you can be attacked now by most hardcore nationalists for being a foreigner even you are white.

When agressors are arrested and then put on trial, is Polish justice severe or lenient? Of course, racist crimes and agressions can happen anywhere but in some countries justice is tougher in such matters. I remember that at the time there was that football thing in Poland and in Ukraine, non white players and many media in Western Europe rose the issue.

All this is very sad and most unfortunate in Europe but it is the reality and results from lack of education and exposure to others.

Very lenient they generally get a few months to 2-3 years at most more often than not in probation.

I may add that Polish justice system is very lenient in general when it come to assaults and batteries.

Should I be surprised???? ;). Nope! Hate speech and of course acts of racism/xenophobia/antisemistim/homophobia are severally punished in western Europe. In France, it has been so since ... 1881 (I have just checked). Re the French black guy who was beaten up and admitted to a Warsaw hospital, I know that French authorities have taken matter seriously.

Completely disgusting but reality!
