I want to try some Villagers homemade Polish sausage

The vast majority of villagers will buy their sausages from the local shop or supermarket in the nearest town.

Stop treating Poland like some sort of skansen.

The vast majority

I will be seeking out the vast minority that make their sausages at home.

Stop treating Poland like some sort of skansen.

If I did, which I didn't, it wouldn't be half as bad as how you have belittled the Polish people.
(How you enjoy taking advantage of the Polish people and how your Polish students stink)
Would you like me to go to my archives to remind you ?

The thought of some American turning up and looking for homemade sausages cracks me up.

Now now, you know the rules here, Respond to the post and not the poster.
I think you have a deserved warning coming for your provoking AGAIN.

Actually here in the State that I live in (with a very high Polish population) people take it very seriously making their own sausage.
We harvest about 500,000 deer every fall and a lot of that meat is turned into the finest sausage you ever tasted.
I personally make 10kg of assorted recipes just for myself and friends.
We trade it back and forth always trying to perfect it better then the last batch.
This is why I assumed that Polish farmers that raised their own pork would do the same thing.
I was hoping to try different kinds to get a delicious Polish recipe to bring home with me.

Hahahahaha ;)

You know the Mods have had to clean my thread up three times now because of your provoking.
I think it's time you get a suspension the next time you do it.

How about the roads in rural Poland East of Krakow ?
Lots of chuck holes or are they paved smooth to these Villages ?
I heard the Polish drivers are some of the worst in Europe.
Renting a car sounds more fun then taking a train but just how safe would it be to drive yourself ?
Thanks for any 'Positive feedback' that may help me making such a choice.

Perfectly safe johnny if you drive for the unexpected. As in, assume that tractor will pull out of the field into your path, assume that a driver will be overtaking another car on that blind hilltop. And don't speed recklessy on country roads so you have adequate braking distance. Also when the road is wet after prolonged hot weather, it's a greasy spoon. Amazing how many victims that one throws up.

Yes, deffo a rental.

Thank you Doug, I appreciate your input.
You are the kind of guy I need to chauffer me around.
I understand that you lived in Katowice for sometime and know the area well.
