Poland has to pick a nation and accept 3 million people of that nation - who do you choose

You would get some flexibility and a role in politics and commerce

Poles are very familiar with corruption, it's something that they are actually trying to eradicate. Though I suppose they would become more liberal in terms of sexual orientation with the introduction of Greeks.

Brits.

Imagine this forum then.

I'd have to say Brits too, if for no other reason just to even the score a bit.

I would go for some South Americans, like Brazilians, or Argentinians. They could help some Poles not to be so dense :)

My impression from spending time with South Americans is that they are a basket case, like many of their countries. Suffering from over inflated ego's and delusions of grandeur.

On the other hand..

Mix from a couple of countries, and Poland would be more than welcome to all the Prods in the occupied six counties of Eire.

Yes,I know we get along. But with Greeks they would become an anarchy bankrupt state with wealthy citizens dominant in the neighbourhood. They would get much better relations to Russia as well.

I am not sure if that is a good thing, however if there are any attractive you unemployed Greek ladies willing to do housecleaning duties plus assist in other activities........I am sure that they will be more than welcome(:

Wish I'd stopped now and asked him where the hell he was going, it was just.....strange :P

delph, I have got to tell you that in Warsaw, it used to be a monthly occurrence, you would see a person of color on the streets, these days if I am driving my car in the centrum or walking, I will see a person of color every few hundred metre's. The africans are ok, obviously most of them are after the passport, which is a fact, before any of the PC brigade start your crusade. The vast majority of Asians are very industrious and you will find them investing heavily in education for their children ( respect there), its the Indians that I really have a problem with they tend to treat the Poles like second class citizens in their own country. I should not generalize, although when it comes to the young Indians in Warsaw, they are an obnoxious bunch of low life.

What outraging , shocking news !

I haven`t met any Indian, who would do that . They are a small minority , very insignificant , involved mainly in some import- export stuff, with fabrics from India or some other food oriented business . But however, if you have met some of them, who grow ego in their minds about a grandeur , it is just a sign of their major mental disorder needed to be treated by a specialist .

I find that most of the ones I speak to are here for an education or because they have married a Polish girl.

You thinking of the Tandoor Palace by any chance?

They have a home already, in the westernmost part of the United Kingdom. I don't see them moving en-masse to Poland any time soon.

You want to remove half my family from Ireland? I think people would have a thing or two to say about that.

not the majority view of the Island,or of the planets population, Im afraid. Democracy eh!!

No,of course not, but, I would make a generous donation to the British people of the six counties, to help with the flight, if they decided to move.

Is it cheating to say Americans, Canadians, Australians or possibly British (depending on your definition)? Get a bit of everything that way.
Culturally, Germans or British as they are the top 2 investors which shows they have faith/trust in Poland.

I'd choose Italians any day. The two countries have never been at war. Italy has made many cultural and culinary contributions. And the two nations share various characteristics such as being very family-minded, the Catholic faith, the importance of food and hospitality and emtoional expression (although admittedly Italians are louder and more gesticulatory).

So Poland was on the same side as Nazi Germany during WWII?

They go "hand in hand" H, Education visa - Polish Girl- European passport.

Monia, we have also heard from other females on PF, who came into contact with Indian males, they also have the same opinion as
you

The Tandoor Palace, could be a good starting point...

Sauerkraut sushi anyone?

The Japanese would revolutionize Polish cuisine. But you can move it to the bin.

Nobody wants the Spanish? Or any other Mediterranean nation, for that matter, just to liven things up a bit. But I'm all for the Spanish, I like them and besides with their vast experience in inquisition matters they could come in handy in politics.

Objectively speaking, the Spaniards are one of the most racist nations in Europe. Still, for me, many are fun and I wouldn't mind more here.

Not to generalise but come on.... Poland is allegedly already familiar with corruption, well they'll learn a few new tricks with their new best mates. And say goodbye to any financial stability, their national airlines are propped up by the government and staff just all leave their posts at lunch time to sample each others lovely cuisine while the share in the company plummet, but ..... heyyyyyy take it easy

the Spaniards are one of the most racist nations in Europe

Their version of the Times (or guardian) had their entire national basketball team pose for a team photo before going to the Beijing Olympics and had them do the "Slanty-eye" thing with their fingers.... google it and see.

I'm just amazed no one in the editors office, none of the players (There were about 20 of them) or the spanish olympic committee or whatever they have .... NOBODY said anything and it went to print.
