Childbearing age for most women is 15-49; let's take away 41-49 group (higher miscarriage and genetic defects risk, generally too late for children) and the 15-18 group as it is still highschool age - a bit too early for children.

That leave us with 21 childbearing years. And all that is needed for Poland to survive without turning into a huge nursing home first and then a huge graveyard is 2.1 children per woman. More or less one child per decade. That's hardly "pregnancy after pregnancy" is it?
