I can only guess - one good place for toddlers and preschoolers in Wrocław is the Kinderplaneta placed in the Sky Tower:
kinderplaneta.pl/skytower/sala-zabaw-skytower

You may also ask in the Integration Nursery School nr 125:

Children attending to this nursery school live in the different areas of the city.
The facility provides opportunities to attend here children with special educational or nutritional needs, and also children of foreigners.

Playground at Odyńca Street in Warsaw (close to Niepodległości) - Mokotow district.
There are: spiderweb from ropes, slides, swings, etc. Also cycle route, table football, basketball court and volleyball.
Next to it is an amphitheater where in summer are shows for children. Couple of restaurants with gardens: Vegetarian, Turkish, pizza and ice cream parlor. Nearby metro station. Unfortunately, at this playground is strong sunlight on hot days.

Quite close to this is the playground at Pala Telekiego 8. Very good one - it's a place divided for the youngest and the little older children - two zones. There is a big "palace" for fun, where you can climb, slide down, or play knights and princesses. Another attraction is a small sailboat, on which kids can have nice time. The Square is adjacent to the new kindergarten. In addition to the mandatory swings and slides here are also the sandpits and tables to play.

Playground Pala Telekiego

In Warsaw's Ursynów district at Kabaty is a large, modern playground with a lot of different activities for children. It is part of a well-kept 'Przy Bażantarni' park, located next to Kasztanowa Alley. The square is divided into three zones. First designed primarily for tiny tots who can use the swings, including those with backrest, there are cottages with obstacles, slides and sandboxes of course. Right beside is the place for older children. It offers them a tall tower with twisting slide, climbing metal device with a long, straight slide, there are also strange colorful balls resembling atoms that probably only children know what they are for. The third zone is a rope construction, for all those who like to climb. Here, instead of tartan ground is sand.

Unfortunately it's also not great place in hot, sunny days - almost no shadow, and mostly metal devices are the trouble then. Apart from this it's a recommended place with convenient access by metro.

Playground Przy Bazanciarni

Very large, modern playground is located in the beautiful and highly neat Żeromski Park on the Wilson Square. This place is probably a classic among Warsaw parents. In addition to cabins with slides, swings and carousels it offers eg. a tube telephone where kids can communicate at a quite distance. On the playground you can also go for a walk and explore the fort in the Żeromski Park.

Playground Plac Wilsona

The so-called Kepa Potocka is a very attractive place itself, recently enriched in two quite new playgrounds, (with sports attractions mainly). Instead of tartan the sand is used here, so your kids will not even have to look around for a sandpit. There is a huge sandpit, big house with a giant slide in the shape of a tube, large and small spiders to climb and slide on the rope. Right next is a smaller plaza designed for kids, and it has, among other things: trampoline to jump, hammock and cottage with obstacles.

Kepa Potocka

Olkówek playground is one of the few almost completely wooden playgrounds, prehistoric themed. Located on the Wiolinowa in the old part of Ursynów. The square is fenced and divided into a section for babies and older children. Among the attractions you will find a big wooden dinosaurs, on which children can climb from each side and then the tail, which is also a slide. There are also swings, climbing cobwebs, separate place to play twister or noughts and crosses and many others. The biggest joy for the youngest is digging up buried in a huge sandbox dinosaur remains and hiding in shell eggs.

Hasanka playground - probably one of the biggest and extremely nice playgrounds in Warsaw. It has many areas for children of different ages. It is fairly new, not too busy, as eg. the plaza on Wilson Square. The whole area is not only a big playground, but also a lot activities for the elderly there - eg. triple, fenced basketball court, outdoor gym, climbing wall and probably the biggest construction rope for climbing in the capital.

Location: Ursus, Wojciechowskiego/Orląt Lwowskich, Warsaw

On the right side of Warsaw is new Balaton Park in Gocław, at Abrahama Street - medium sized playground with the ships theme, which makes sense especially since there's lake near (beware the mosquitos), where you can also swim pedal boats. The youngest can have fun eg. by the sand pouring plant, equipped with buckets, or cottage with fun activities. Definitely there is a lack of special swings with backrest for toddlers. A little older can climb the rope spiders, on one of the ships, jump on the trampoline or turn on a rotating platform.

Balaton Park

The playground on Barcelońska 9 is one of the newest playgrounds located in the southern part of Warsaw. An extremely long rope structures are connected together and obstacle courses for children. This place is marked by sport, so there are a lot of gymnastic equipment for children, basketball court, couple table tennis boards but also free tennis court. It is a true paradise for children, where they can let off steam at pleasure.

This square is still upgraded.

Playground at Fort Bema is located in Bemowo. It is now the largest playground in Warsaw and one of the largest in Europe. And in fact the area is very large and interestingly its architecture refers to the nearby fort. The place is divided into several zones. The first zone with lots of play is well equipped for older children. Zone for the youngest is completely fenced in a low, metal fence and closed with a gate, so you can easily keep an eye on your little ones. There are roofed cottages, where they can hide, swings on the sprung in the shape of animals and a large sandpit.

I'll be visiting Wroclaw, Poznan and Torun with my very active 18 month old. Do you have any tips for places to visit in or near these locations? Do you know any good playgrounds? Family friendly hotels or restaurants?
