When speaking with my bilingual Polish peeps, and I get a "no", I ask: Is that an English "no" or a Polish "no"? If English, means nie, if Polish means "yeah".

Gen Z women are great at saying No .... even to the guys with guns, commonly known here as cops. It never ends well, but I give them credit for trying.
