Polish people are the most ignorant people in the world!

Sounds like paranoia from one side and religious exhibitionism from the other. This woman shouldn't get worked up about other people's religions and this young man (and I'd bet money that he's young) should know that the rules for prayer are different while travelling.

It is great that Polish people have pride in their people and country,. I am Australian and think Australia is the greatest country, but the view is from the heart, I too have traveled the world and find all people are much the same although their circumstances are different. I am married to a Polish man who thinks Poland is the greatest place on earth, because I love him I think Poland is great too but Australia is, of course, the greatest.

According to the newest PISA rankings Polish pupils are some of the best in Europe. Poland scored much higher than eg. Germans, French, Scandinavians(except Finland) and muuuuuch higher than the British and Americans.in all 3 cathegories Polish students were in top 15 in the world. In Europe only Finland was better in all of those 3 subjects than Poland.

you forgot to mention that if they love their country so much why not stay there.... there is more polish out of poland than in poland. All polish who are in England need to learn more history, all polish I met is racist and Trying this on this southern nazi idea of thinking what they seemed to have forgotten is that the nazi is the reason half of the country left in the first place !!!

Let me compare Poland to Britain.

Having lived one third of my life in Poland (as a kid which is over forty years ago) and then in the UK, I have to rule in favour of the UK as the country with less ignorant pricks on the whole.

There are cretins in all countries in the world, but comparing Poland versus the UK, Poland is for now on the losing side - in my opinion.

I travel as infrequently as possible to Poland, to avoid the constant irritation from half-wits, just in every day life.
They push and shove, young and old, swear a lot, drive live complete dicks - putting other people's lives at risk and generally only look after themselves.

I dared to drive there once, which landed me in a hospital, when a local speeding genius smashed the back of my rented car.
Ended up in a filthy local hospital, where the patient care was abysmal.
The doctors were rude, other staff lazy and some were just cruel to elderly patients.
It was a ******* hell.

When back in England, I think I suffered some form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
My heart was going out to those innocent, decent patients in that ******* hospital, who were stranded there for ages at the hands of these *******.

And yes, similar trends can be seen in the UK. But thank God, we have a lot less of this **** every day.
Which really makes for a happier life.

The British economy has tanked in 2008 and is still scraping at the bottom, while the Polish one is making good progress. Wages are slowly but steadily going up and the standard of living is going up. Eventually it will catch up with the West and perhaps exceed it too. I wouldn't be surprised.

But until the minds and hearts of the many people in Poland change for the better, it will be a **** hole to live in.
Just purely from humanitarian point of view.

Now I am waiting for the response "You can't generalize or stereotype".

Thanks Sylvia for the honest answer, although I may not entirely agree with it.

HAHAHAHA

I think people who do dangerous sports like climbing K2 should try driving in Poland instead

He thinks he's the Wizard of Oz lol. 30% of Americans can't find the Pacific Ocean on the map and 11% can't find the United States on the map lol. In Poland, Polish children are being taught world geography before they 12 years old.

Living in Poland now for the past five months, I have to agree. The scenery is beautiful; I am in the South about 15 km from the Slovakian border. But, my God, the people... trying to get even simple tasks done is SUCH an effort. There is absolutely no (as in a bit fat ZERO) sense of customer service in this country. If anyone does help you, they expect to be treated like royalty. Until this changes, Poland has a LONG way to go to catch up with how businesses should cater to the very people who will keep them in business.

I don't follow this post, but it is true that Polish people are idiots, they think they deserve everything and they are very nasty, irresponsible people, they always avoid responsibility and behave like childish sh--heads, but always trying to keep appearance of someone better, culture is an absolut zero in their meaning, just turn the tv on, or try to criticize them, it's kind of low class narrowminded society where being criminal is a way of life and something to be proud of, nasty, empty, sh--tty and ugly loosers

Actualy You look very ignorant to me :

1. You make a confusion of "ignorant" and "proud".
2. You met some people excessively proud, and you generalised to everybody. On the other side, many Poles make strong critics about Poland, and know that as a foreigner, people anywhere will always try to show you how good this or that is. Especialy if U are from the USA, that exports its culture, goods, food and wars to all the World, and which citizens are convinces USA is the number ONE at everything.

3. Many Poles say that our girls are the most beautifuls, but a) Some people from abroad tell Us this b) Many people in many countries say the same kind of ****

4. "The best food" - in general, what we found the best food is what our mother and grandma cook, and at this point also, many people of many countries

5. The best water ??? Never heard it. That vodka comes from here and we do it best - that's true, we believe it.

If the Poles believe the 'English' are so ignorant - Why are so many of you living in our country then? I've always wondered that. We are one of the most tolerant and diverse nations in the world. Think you need to take a good long look at yourselves!!

annoyed, look at the title of the thread first and then you English "take a good look at yourselves". Polish people go to Britain for work. not for non ignorant people.a lot of foreigners here write ONLY bad things about Poland or Polish people.they probably are or were living here. WHY? if we are the most ignorant in the world.

"............the most ignorant people in the world!"

The most ignorant people are those who create headings that assign negative attributes to ethnic or minority groups.

Given the relatively good education system, Poles' interest in philosophical and political debate and their broader knowledge of geography etc, I think it is wrong to call them ignorant. I'm sure there must be some who are individually that way, but on average I'd say they're more knowledgeable than us Brits, and therefore about 1000% more savvy than a typical American :-)

Haha this is bullsh*t and woooow you must have really low standards if you worte this because if you search anything about Poland on the interent most people say great things about this country and America is just claiming everything what others did and saying it's theirs ;') Ohh and btw if someone is not well educated it doesnt mean that they're stupid as they may have more life expirience and they may be even more clever than eductaed people in some ways... Shout out to all the "slim" people in America...

Has anyone met so many people from another country who is more arrogant and ignorant than Poles?! Yes , I have. Americans. ( People from the United States of America. Not people from south America if you consider those people to be American)

Funny how Poles have contributed far less to academia than Brits and Americans...

The Polish education system might be good at teaching people to memorize things. However, it fails at teaching people to think creatively and logically.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, I heard a Polish woman talking on her cell phone and saying some racist garbage about Hispanics and African-Americans in her surrounding. This is not the first time I've heard a Polish immigrant spew racist garbage.

Many Poles seem like really nice people when they speak in their broken English. However, once you learn a little bit of their language, you realize how extremely rude and racist many of them are.

Living in Poland now for the past five months, I have to agree..

There are exceptions to the rule Tamarisk. A garage mechanic once interrupted his family Sunday lunch to tow my car to his garage in Tychy and spend 3 hours labouring over it, to finally concede defeat and do a temp botch job to get me en famille back to Kato in 40 degrees of heat.

The Brits in the typical village today would have called the police or come out with a shotgun if you knocked on their door asking for help on a Sunday afternoon.

Many Poles seem like really nice people when they speak in their broken English. However, once you learn a little bit of their language, you realize how extremely rude and racist many of them are.

Mcdouche - I concur. We have to appreciate though that the good people of this country, in their fight against communism and totalarinism, (edit lol I hate it so much I can't even spell it) and I include Pilsudski in that, have been brainwashed by this nasty nationalistic belief that some diocese have that masquerades as catholicism. IMO

I have lost track of the number of times I have engaged with academics and even a couple of renowned southern Poland practioners of the 500 strong medical council, as well as members of the chamber of commerce, who have readily come out with bile which in a normal society would get them on incitement to stir up racial hatred.

They have been brainwashed by their clergy sadly, spitting forth that filth.

Where I live in Greenpoint , Brooklyn I can honestly say ... Thank God for the Poles! They're keeping the hoardes of really stupid and arrogant douchebags at bay - the hipsters and yuppies.

Can't say the same for the guvna Polish landlords who rent to these scumbags for the almighty dollare'.

McDouche is making a valid generalism about the Polish educational system. But anybody who has taught in it and doesn't have their head buried in the sand will concur.

Of course people are stifled creatively because of the traditional way of teaching in schools. It's called control, with desks set in lines, of two desks together, as in the 1960's in Britain.

This is just so wrong :((

If it wasn't ao laughable I would give it :))
