I went yesterday to order a part, Everyone was friendly and helpful even used the UK BMW network computer to find my car on the system, I ordered the part at 16.30 yesterday expecting it to be here 2 days later, I got a phone call at 09.00 this morning saying it had arrived.

Quicker that my dealer in the UK and a lot more friendly,

Now my question is why can't all organisations on Poland operate this friendly high class service where they actually have a degree of respect for the customer? Service with a smile doesn't cost anything!

BMW sells cars, that are more expensive than most other "normal" cars, mainly because they have a certain image. And the typical BMW-buyer probably is the kind of person who wants to feel a little bit more respected and important than other people.

I can say from personal experience that two of the three main BMW dealerships in Warsaw are 99% staffed by arseholes.

A BMW is a normal car, theyre not exactly that expensive to buy anymore, even brand new. I just found it nice the way they made me a cup of coffee and treated me really well even though I was only buying a 100 pln part and booking it in for a service, Kudos to them really, Poznan Audi is terrible in comparison and audi are supposedly a manufacturer of high class/quality cars.

On the other hand BMW dealerships in the UK are terrible.

I have quite an opposite experience. Organizations in Poland - and everywhere else I've been are not so unfriendly. Maybe it is the way you act and what and how you say something to other people. In my opinion most often it's how you act causes your interlocutor to re-act in a particular way. Simple as that.

As far as quality of service - that's what has to be improved a lot in some places. But there are also very positive exceptions, like Dnz gave. Only when service providers or clerks are rude then it's time to "unleash the hell" and retort properly. There's no other way than to bring such a person to the ground (and I don't mean ad personam).
