Want to open a shop In Poland. Advice?

I am new in this forum and I am From Asia. I have a Polish (male) friend. Both of us want to open a Shop there in Gdansk, Poland. Does anyone can tell us please, which is the simple and faster way to open shop? As I am from another country how I can apply for that. Hope I will response ..................thanks.

you should make business registration 1st(but if you only have Visa to stay here, you need to make join business, with Polish residence).. for detils better visit business registration office 1st nar your area.. Good Luck!!

Right, just wondering if about 50,000zł would be enough to open up a small shop / newsagents in a central / nice area of a major city e.g Warsaw, Kraków, Gdansk or somewhere like that? :-)

you can get a place for about 2500 zl per month. You need to figure out the fit out cost, stock cost, and cash to see you though for a couple of months until you get going. You also need to take polish lessons. Why would you open a business if you can not speak Polish?

To set up as a company you would need 5k zl in the bank account. Various fee's for accountant go from 200 to what ever you want to pay.

You might have to pay a large deposit on the property.

I would put aside some money to do research. Is there a need for your business.

It certainly would be if you went down the route of opening a Zabka store.
