Obtaining Poland's citizenship through decent

Where do I start?? Both my parents and my sister were born in Poland and all have a polish passport and are citizens. I was born in the US but want to establish citizenship. I speak polish and eventually want to relocate there. Where do I start to get confirmation? Can I do it online or do I need to go to the polish embassy? Should I get a lawyer? This process is a bit confusing.

Thank you!

As far as I am aware you just are a Polish citizen as your parents are still Polish citizen. It should be as easy as applying for Polish passport.

What year your parents emigrated and when were you born?

I was born in the US. They both emigrated in 1982 (the year I was born). But they maintained their citizenship

I doubt on line but a visit to a embassy can help.

Should I get a lawyer?

Lawyer from where(Poland or USI mean)I got my kids through a Polish agency in early 2000s but times are different now.
Looks its easy in your case as you can have 3 birth certificates and passports copies(very important) to prove, just get your birth certificate translated in Polish and you are a go.Now a days may take you over 6 months but easier then most people.

What year your parents emigrated and when were you born?

Yes it does depend on it.

Since your mom renewed her passport and that way showed us she didn'tlose her citizenship your case should be as straightforwardas Poland Saif.
