Same here in the UK, because many of them never sat the test.....usually one of their many "cousins".

Ive heard the Polish DL is one of the hardest to pass as DL tests are concerned. You couldn't tell by the way Poles drive! LOL

Not really,I got mine at first go and it never expires,they took my NJ license and I got a duplicate one for 5$ same for the boat license.

It's possible to check the validity (and expiry date) of a driving licence online. As well as the number, a first name and surname (the ones on the driving licence) are required.

Polish driving licences have either 6 or 7 digits and start with either one or two letters. For example, A1234567 or AB123456 The number is under the barcode on the back.

Are you sure the name Vano is correct?

The number you gave looks like a PESEL (ID Card number) which is shown on the front of the card. rather than a driving licence number which is on the back under the barcode, as hown in the picture above.

By the way, a driving licence in Poland is called a "Prawo Jazdy". Does it say that at the top right of the front of the card?

The system won't accept the full number that you gave in the post above. It is one digit too long. Are you sure that's the number on the back under the bar code?

As mentioned, Polish driving licence numbers start with 1 or 2 letters and have 6 or 7 digits. The number you gave has 8 digits.

It's worth checking the number again to make sure you read it correctly. The person's licence could be valid however if you've copied the number down incorrectly, it would not be possible to check. The number you gave has one digit too many.
