Polish tattoo for the future (w piekle / raju)

Hey guys! So, I've always wanted to get a tattoo that's said "I would rather rule in Hell then serve in Heaven." I've roughly translated it to JA byłby raczej reguła w Piekle potem służą w raju. But I wanted to make sure that this is correct. If not, could you please give me a heads up and tell me? Thanks :)

If you're a girl: 'Wolałabym raczej rządzić w piekle, niż służyć w niebie.' If you're a boy: 'Wolałbym raczej rządzić w piekle, niż służyć w niebie'.

sounds a little too elaborate for me.
Id say:

Lepiej rządzić w piekle niż służyć w niebie.

I can see a difference between these two sentences. Saying "Wolałbym..." you voice your own opinion; but saying "Lepiej..." you voice everyone's opinion.
