I want to know what does the common phrase 'tak jak' mean?

Something like "this just as.."

It's a spoken utterance, therefore can and often is translated idiomatically.

"Tak jak" is not the same as "jak tam", Trance. It shows comparison and means slightly "as", "the same as".

Means "just like" or "just as".
"The same" would be: "Tak samo jak"
