About Mielimy?

Mięso mielimy na żądanie - (we mince meat on demand).
But mielimy is wrong. It should be mielemy. This is not only the one sign but in common parlance we here mielimy
and on mieli instead of miele..
Past tense of the verb mleć is also mucked up. Ona zmełła kawę is correct, zmieliła is wrong, but widely heard. How come?

W Białymstoku (województwo podlaskie), przychodzi klient do sklepu mięsnego i pyta:

- Jest mięso mielone?
- Mielim.
- To poproszę pół kilo.
- Wczoraj mielim!

Also 'Weź tą łapę' instead of tę?

'Weź tą łąpę' is very common in speech. 'Weź tę łapę' would be quite uncommon in speech, though some people would still use it. In writing it's vice versa, 'weź tą łapę' would be considered a big mistake.

Personally, I would always use 'bawołu', but I'm not surprised that some of the younger generation may be inclided to use 'bawoła'.

Reminds me of the British Tommy during WW2 who woke up wounded in an field hospital in Oz and sees corpses covered with white sheets all about. 'Did I come here to die?' he mumbles, whereupon an Aussie nurse replies: *No, you came yesterdie!'
