Any other opinions on a good translation for "sic/go get 'em"? Or do we agree that "bierz" is the winner? In that case, is there another way of saying, "Get the ___"?
Just out of curiosity, how was Mary-Jane's famous, "Go get 'em, Tiger," translated in Polish?

And actually, @mafketis's joke does bring up a point I was wondering about regarding noun forms. Do Polish trainers use the different noun forms? Or do they keep it just to the basic form for ease of comprehension? I'm a human and they confuse me, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't work well with dogs.

for some time now I try to speak to my dog in basic forms but it is in no way the norm among Polish dog owners - the thing it is often the case that inflected forms of Polish words (at least nouns) are not that removed from the basic form so the dogs seem to figure out you talk about the same thing (it is especially true with the dog's name)the dogs seem to figure out you talk about the same thing (it is especially true with the dog's name)
Very much so. It's the tones they hear, not so much the words, even though they seem to recognise them.

It's the tones they hear,
Exactly.
That's why I laugh when people scream and cuss at their dogs to 'come' and if it doesn't they punish their dog with a spanking.
Now the dog knows when they hear that screaming word "come' they are going to get punished so they never will come. lol
A dog can't be smarter than the owner.
The best way to teach a dog to come is by sitting on the floor with a small treat and in a normal tone say 'come'.
Then when your pup masters that, stand up and do the same thing.
Eventually the dog will come with a normal tone command.
You get out of your dog of what you put into it.
It takes time and patience to teach children or dogs so they are enjoyable to be around.
Putting a dog on a chain in the back yard 24/7 is not a life for any dog or child.
I just used to whistle and my doggie always came.
Hard to know why someone would want all those "commands" unless they're training police dogs.

Some people like a well-trained dog that minds for the owner's pleasure and the dog's safety.
All I have to do is make that smooching sound like when you kiss.
My dogs will immediately stop what they are doing and come to me and sit.
If they are a long way aways, I will give them a short loud whistle for them to come.
You get out of them what you put into them.
Mine was a superstar.
Hard to know why anyone would need one for 'protection' unless they live in a highly dangerous place in which case any assailant would just shoot it.

My dog is pretty stupid, and doesn't understand any commands regardless of the language in which they are given. Sometimes I think he deliberately misinterprets my meaning.
Does this mean my dog is Polish?

If it barks at russians, it is Polish.

It is definitely Polish then.

No, it only means he takes after his owner. hahahaha

No it means it thinks you are inferior, once you know your place and listen to your dog well - there is no issue.

No,
I wonder if would that work for pawian, to train him well, shut up, and sit down.

My dog takes me for a walk every day.

Impossible in my case. I would even refuse to shake paws with you. hahahaha

Personally, I think it's weird that some people think it's weird to train a dog. Though the idea that people have a vision of me scraping for survival with nothing but a trench coat and a doggie in some urban cesspool hellscape cracks me up. What other reason could there possibly be for having a well-behaved dog?
It's true that dogs respond very well to tones, and that one has to have consistency in the way things are said just as much as in what is said. But for my own sake, I want to make sure I'm saying the right words. Otherwise I may as well just make up all my own sounds.
