Genealogy / The typical Polish look, or all Eastern Europeans [656]
Hi,
Well to start off with I am an American with many different European ethnicities in me including Polish.
Anyway I was wondering whats the typical Polish look of the Poles. The hair, eye, skin color, body build in both men and women, facial features.
I read recently that Poland is one of the blondest countries, along with Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. Thats does seem partial true. Because some of the realitives in my family who are Polish stock part were all very white blonde as kids then turned to a very light brown in adolescence all with eye striking lightening blue eyes and fair skin but tanned very well suprsingly with that fair of hair and eye color. But I've notcied form meeting, seeing other Polish descent Americans, and Poles on T.V, actors, actresses on youtube, pictures of different Polish that there are defintley brown eye black haired brunettes as well.
So what coloring do most Poles have fair, dark, in between or all equal just about.
Now whats the build height, body type of Poles Eastern Europeans in general. I read reacently that in the former old generations, people now in their 100's, 90's, 80's, 70', 60's, 50's, 40's are in their body build stocky short and heavy, big boned with good muscle not so much fat, robust, mesomorph build. Now I read that its just a reverse in their builds that in my generation and younger they are quite tall and slim, with finer lighter bone structure not as muscular, robust more lithe, delicate, ballerina, dancer, model type bodies in both women and men. They are very slender.
With all the other different European ethnicities in me I am tall 5'91/2, 5'10 in shoes thats 1,77cm and 1,78 cm. Well no unfortuanatley I am not not naturally thin I gain weight if I eat junk food and don't exercise. I defintley have a shape to me not straight up and down I defintley have hips, butt on me and sinched in waist, and a average sized bust, hourglass figure. I am naturally medium in my weight not so much slender, but I am slender now by exercising, yoga, meditation, alot of dancing and running, differnt sports, swimming, basketball.
I become quite a health freak in nutrition eating mostly raw organic locally grown fruits and vegetable, organic free range meats. I am into jucing and Asian, East Indian health nutrition, exercise.
Oops sorry I carried on so much about myself. Anyway what is typical Polish Eastern European build on men and women? Then and now. Thanks
Now onto the features I notice thats its either a very sqaure face with big, beautiful, high cheekbones, or an slender heart face with the very pointy high cheekbones. The eyes shape tends to be lovley almond shape, and the lips full and unusual shape the upper lip bigger than the lower lip. Which nice gives it distinction. The nose is either many times nice defintley high bridged nose with globular round tip and rather large nostrils or a small very, very thin, medium, to high bridged nose with narrow nostrils.
Well I finally wrote what I want to know.
