Language / Recommended for learners: Michel Thomas Method Polish Audiobook [60]
I have seen it on ebay going for £25 pounds at the moment, but the general price seem to be around £35..Michel Thomas was a language teacher to the stars, demanding up to $30,000 a week for his sessions. Some people have criticized his teachings because he had a German accent so any language that you might learn would have his accent.
However I believe he used polish native speakers on his polish course.

Well although I have sampled many polish dishes, I am ashamed to say I've never cooked any. I have helped grate potatoes for the dish you made last week, so I know my way around a grater:(
However I have been shown in great detail how to make kotlet schabowy, and I might surprise you one week with photos on here:)
where's the pictures of all the delicious dishes you've cooked? ;)

If you know someone who can find their way around the net, you can get it for free. So i am told:) I think the first part can be downloaded from the Rosetta Stone site for free. Also there are some other threads about this product, just type Rosetta Stone into the search box at top of page.

The translation that the member did for you above, is correct.
mówi means speak. It is how you would ask someone that you don't know very well if they speak polish or english?. czy mówi pan(pani) po polsku ( po angielsku).

when you talk about languages from a country it is po polsku, po angielsku
You really should get yourself a polish phrase book to help you,as all of the above is just basic polish and you need to see how the words are spelt and written down.

Nouns, pronouns and adjectives change their endings to show their relationship to other words in the sentence.
If you haven't found out yet, polish nouns have different forms for expressing grammatical case, related to the function of a noun in a sentence. A polish noun also has one of 3 genders, masculine, female or neuter. The 7 cases are , nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, instrumental, locative, and vocative in both singular and plural.
So a noun like sklep ( shop/store) may look like this in case form..
Nom. sklep
Gen. sklepu
Dat. sklepowi
Acc. sklep
Instr. sklepem
Loc. sklepie
Voc. sklepie
and their plurals, sklepy,sklepów, sklepom, sklepy,sklepami, sklepach and sklepy.
If you have just started to learn polish, then this may be a little too advanced for you but there is no need to rush. I would advise you to start of, learning the letters of the alphabet and then the spelling and grammar rules with them. Learn the basic phrases like hello, goodbye, thank you , I would like a coffee etc, build up your vocabulary then later on, get to grips with the 7 cases.
Above all take your time and have patience, after all you are trying to learn one of the top five hardest languages :)

Most times when you see that message, "double clicking" on the video screen will make it work. When posting a utube video it is always best to check in the preview box to see if there is any problems with the link. Hope this helps;)

Law / Are Blackberry devices popular in Poland among business and individuals? [57]
Well in some ways its still primitive. A 2mp camera on a mobile phone was the standard 3 or 4 years ago. No replaceable battery, no memory card slot and no support for bluetooth stereo, it is also the same weight as a house brick ;)
It also does not have true GPS, which gives turn-by-turn instructions. In all I am very happy with my Nokia N96 ;)
iPhone is the most advanced mobile device available.

I meant when you need to replace the battery on the iphone it is a pain? do you have to return it back to base for a few days? On a normal mobile phone you don't need any special tools to change the battery

Well I agree that the iphone is a nice looking phone, and was just pointing out that a few items on it, seem a little primitive for it to be called "the most advanced mobile device available". Each to their own eh? ;)

That was one of the first things I noticed. Nearly all of the pedestrian areas are designed using these bricks and look superb. The many different patterns have been laid with great craftsmanship and in my opinion, comes very close to art.
But the Poles are good at laying interlocking brick in place of sidewalks.
