News / Years of Poland in the EU - assessment of pros and cons [1139]

from 20 years ago

What do you mean 20 years ago? You claimed that 14 months is like prehistory in this regard. :)

Here you are:

The survey I posted was about legal rights for homosexual couples - one of the LGBT movement's aims; yours is about tolerance toward homosexuality itself. Not the same thing: a lot of those who said that they tolerate homosexual orientation would still be against granting such people the right to adoption.

your ridiculous hysteria

The only person being hysterical here is you: all your "hahahahas", "madafakas", "come outs", "eliminate PiS like rabid dogs" etc. and so on make you look like a total retard. A hysterical retard at that. If you were 16 your behaviour could possible be justified but you are probably closer to 60 which makes it just sad.

If the EU insists on pushing their pro-LGBT agenda, then the countries who still regained a bit of sanity will have to consider their options. Or maybe we will just have to wait until the '68 generation dies out (should be soon enough) and conservative politicians take over - it is already starting to happen.

you support murdering thousands of Polish POWs by Soviets in Katyń Massacre and others during WW2

I never said any such thing. You, on the other hand, wrote that PiS has to be eliminated like rabid dogs - it's there for everyone to see, so you call to murder Poles for their political views. You are the greatest scumbag this forum has ever seen, a tiny spiteful man - spewing his frustration online. The scariest part is that you're a teacher - a teacher calling for politically motivated mass killings. What a scum.

so I won`t call you

I don't care what you call me - your behaviour on this board reflects only who you are.

News / Years of Poland in the EU - assessment of pros and cons [1139]

you want to incite politically motivated mass killings of Polish people - as yourself wrote ("eliminate PiS like rabid dogs" - your words)

And this is the worst part.

Insulting people, being a hysterical retard, acting like you're 16 when you're 60 etc. etc. is one thing, but wanting to murder Poles for their political views is too much even for a rabid troll and hater like you. You should be ashamed of yourself but apparently you don't even grasp the concept of shame. From now on you will be treated like a Stalinist mass murderer wannabe that you are.

Poles just love imitating European ways

We don't have to imitate European ways - we are European par excellence, the heart of Europe; and anyway, Europe has already started turning conservative, so there.

the changes will continue anyway

I don't think so. Amiga500 is right - the only result of pushing people too far will be a healthy reaction of turning even more conservative.

I see you adopted the role of Goebbels now.

I'm not nearly as good at it as you are. :)

News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2971]

Over 70s? In Belgium euthanasia of children is legal without specifying any conditions with respect to their age...

apmonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/belgium-en-euthanasie-minors.pdf

Once "life" has been removed (...) it never even knows what happened.
The fetus is as yet a nascient, while NOT conscious organism, therefore, the term "murder" doesn't apply

Oh, so it's OK to kill someone in their sleep as long as they "never even realise what happened" while they are "not conscious"?

Off-Topic / In Germany the Reichsbürger movement denies the existence of the Federal Republic of Germany [30]

and IF they had been better is disputable!

Exactly! Nostalgia is a weird thing... all those people in Poland nostalgic for the Second Republic (1918-1939), a time of widespread illiteracy, suffering and poverty for millions of Poles, or even the PRL (People's Republic of Poland) never cease to amaze me (OK, I could possibly be accused of the same thing regarding the Austro-Hungarian Empire :)).

When time machines are invented people who are nostalgic about a certain period of time in the past should be transported to that period and made to live there for a year or two. ;)

Off-Topic / Interesting comments from the Polish net [49]

controvercial nativity play staged by high school students

Schools shouldn't be places of primitive agitprop, whether it is done directly or through "art". It's a sad day when teachers supervise and allow such things to happen. We had these things happening in the past, during communism, and the days of political propaganda at schools should remain in the past and never come back.

How are PiS doing in the polls at the moment?

Better than PO.

Travel / Do Poles like to hunt? Hunting in Poland. [205]

Is unnecessary

Wrong. One fox can eat around 60 hares every year. If the fox population is not controlled by the hunters, then all the lovely hares will disappear in a decade or so. Is that what you want? The extinction of all the cuddly, sweet hares? You monster!

@Lenka

Very unlikely. Fox is a very cunning (go figure) predator. After massacring hares, it would switch to birds - domestic and wild - and decimate them too. Maybe that's what you want? All the cuddly hares and sweet birdies to be eaten by cunning foxes? You monsters!!!

One fox eats 60 hares a year. Hares would effectively disappear from Poland if it wasn't for hunters shooting foxes.

So, we can have two situations:

1. A hunter shoots a fox - one bullet, quick death, 60 cuddly hares saved.

2. The fox lives, saved by a hunting ban introduced by monsters like Pawian, Jon or Lenka. 60 little, cuddly, sweet hares are torn apart alive by the teeth of the cunning predator. LOOK!!!

1

I want you to look this lovely hare in the eyes and tell him that it's better for him to die in a fox's teeth, together with 59 others being devoured, than for one fox to be shot. LOOK HIM IN THE EYES!!!

You monsters... you people disgust me...

I am happy for others that do

Thank you! I come from a hunting family and I occasionally go hunting too. One has to do one's part to preserve wildlife, in the sad absence of natural predators, and keep the ecosystem in balance. Future generations will thank us.

OK, gotta go. Happy New Year, everyone. Please - in the New Year 2023 - think about lovely cuddly hares!

Second of all a foxes main diet is field mice and not hare.

Only in the areas were hares are extinct or almost extinct (and unfortunately there's quite a few of them in Europe these days). Given a choice fox will always hunt for a hare - quite obvious from the survival point of view, more calories with less exertion (Wild Nature 101).

Here, read and wise up (use Google translate, if you don't know Polish)...

News / Unfulfilled promises by PiS [555]

If the opposition ruled, the economic situation would be much better

Perhaps, perhaps not.

One thing, however, is certain - if the opposition ruled in Poland, Ukraine would be under Russian occupation at the moment or with a puppet government in a union with Russia, similar to Belarus. There would be no Polish howitzers - old Soviet types with shi*loads of 152mm ammo on top of that, no Grad rocket launchers, Pioruns, brand new Krab howtizers, hundreds of T-72s and PT-91s (equivalent of two panzer divisions) etc. etc. for Ukraine.

PO would initially react towards the war in Ukraine in exactly the same manner as their German overlords, and would start sending help and weapons with exactly the same speed and amounts as Germany initially did. Why? Because they are German lapdogs, that's why. American help wouldn't be able to arrive on time and anyway, the US didn't have the shitl*oads of post-Soviet (but modernised and in good condition) equipment ready to be sent immediately and used immediately by AFU.

Basically, anyone wishing for PO to have been in power on 24th February 2022, wishes for the quick Russian victory. So, thank God PO wasn't/isn't in power, and thank God for still free Ukraine.

@Tacitus

"Ring exchange"? You have some nerve to even mention this scam! Poland sending hundreds of tanks, artillery, and rocket launchers had nothing to do with that.

As to the rest of your post, we all remember the initial German reaction and initial German help (what was it? 5000 helmets?). If Poland had reacted in the same way, Russian victory would have been swift and decisive.

Meanwhile, while Poland takes in millions of refugees and practically acts as a deep strategic hinterland for Ukraine, Germany is using its influence on the EU to withold Polish reconstruction plan funds. Basically, you are backstabbing us when we aid Ukraine beyond our strength and resources.

Doesn't seem that we all remember it correctly

Typical! :) Soon we will learn that it was Poland who built Nord Stream together with Russians, that it was Polish prime ministers not German chancellors who went straight on Russian payroll after retiring and that it was indeed Germany who started all the help for Ukraine right away, whilst Polish ministers were against aiding Ukrainians and said they would fall within days. Feckin' typical :):):)

Luckily, Ukrainians have a better memory than that :) That's why they, among other things, refused to welcome the German president in Kiev in March...

aa.com.tr/en/russia-ukraine-war/ukraine-turns-down-german-president-s-request-to-visit-kyiv/2561992

euractiv.com/section/global-europe/news/ukraine-refuses-to-welcome-german-president-over-his-ties-to-russia/

... bloody internet - it remembers everything :) It would be so much easier for all the Tacituses and Pawians of this earth if all the internet archives disappeared after two weeks or so. :)

Right, guys - continue to post nonsense whilst Poland is busy helping Ukraine with one hand and taking out the knife from her back with the other.

It rose dramatically when PIS got power in 2015

It had to - PO government closed so many coal mines that the lack of coal had to be suplemented with more imports.

And it wasn`t PiS politicians who started the construction of LNG port in Świnoujście, it was PO`s decision.

Bullsh*t - the bill to build the LNG terminal was passed by Jarosław Kaczyński's government on 3rd January 2006. Then Polskie LNG company was established on 29th March 2007, and also in 2007 the final plans of the terminal were prepared. Only then on 19th August 2008, the back-then prime minister Donald Tusk accepted the plan. After that the building works stalled completely during PO's reign. It would still be unfinished if it wasn't for PiS.

Sorry facts are facts.

Excuse me, were you saying something? I'm sorry, please forgive me but I didn't quite catch that - I was too busy taking out the knife from my back.

*stretching his hand to take out the knife from his back... aaaaaah the pain!*

will be taken to independent courts (...) and going to prison

That would be the first time ever! No politician in Poland - no matter leftist, rightist or centrist - has ever ended up in jail, despite all the scandals and waste since 1989. As they say, kurwa kurwie łba nie urwie.

:D No to będziemy mieli trzecie zwycięstwo PiSu. :)

historical enmity

You can't accuse me of enmity towards Germany. Actually, Germany is my second favourite country in the world (after the US) - not counting Poland of course. :) It's not my fault that Germany would rather see Poland as a totally subjugated EU province and not a strong independent country, so that puts our governments at enmity to certain extent (we are nonetheless still NATO allies and cooperate closely in economy).

a victim complex.

Oh, so you're a psychologist as well! There is a good word to describe you (and your friend Pawian for that matter) and, surprise surprise, it's a German word. :) You are a besserwisser. Don't worry - worse things happen to people. Only don't be surprised that Poles do not enjoy when German besserwissers teach them about democracy, freedom or whatnot. Go lecture the Czechs, they might listen (maybe). :)

the excess deaths are 19%. Of that number, 30% are were covid vaccinated (...) above is not a conspiracy theory. Those people are really dead

So, 70% of excess deaths were NOT vaccinated, so it's better to be vaccinated, right?

Where's the conspiracy theory here?
