You're from Seville? Seville and Białystok are two different places and climates! Winters are really depressing there. Cold and cloudy. Don't be surprised when it will get dark at about 3pm in December (the sky is navy blue at about 3:40pm, for comparison in Seville during December it gets dark at 6pm). Though Białystok has brighter mornings. xD That's the only plus.

CBOS points out that since 2005 the Polish hierarchy remains stable. Invariably, the most important is family happiness, which lists 82% of respondents. Next is health (74%), honesty (26%), professional work (21%), peace (19%), respect of other people (17%), religious faith (12%), friendship (10%), education (9%).

Prosperity and wealth (5%), homeland's success (3%), life full of adventure and excitement (3%), freedom of expression of own views (3%), contact with the culture and the success and fame (1%), opportunity to participate in the democratic life of the socio-political (0,2%).

According to CBOS for Polish people less and less important is religious faith (7 points decrease since 2005), homeland's success (5 points decrease) and wealth (6 points decrease).

Polish people condemn: corruption (96%), exploitation of workers by employers (96%), beating children (94%), use of position for personal gain (91%), neglect of job duties (87%), cheating spouse (85%), tax evasion (80%), speeding on the road (78%), abortion (75%), free-riding (68%), homosexuality (56%).

Behaviors that are more socially acceptable than unacceptable: sex before marriage and contraception (both 59%), relationship without marriage (53%). The most controversial are divorces which level of approval and disapproval is aligned (36% and 38%).

According to CBOS level of liberalism is varied because of the socio-demographic situation of the respondents. It decreases with the age of the respondents and their level of religiosity and increases with the increase of the education, the size of inhabited locality, the amount of income and the level of satisfaction with financial situation. The most liberal are pupils and students, mid-level employees, self-employed, service workers and the unemployed.
