Work / Advice on Teaching English in Poland [709]

They're looking for many teachers in Warsaw, but really need a CELTA and they would love it if you have IT experience - I could land you 10 hours of work 2mow if you had the CELTA.

Study / Cheap Polish language school in Krakow? and cheap mobile unlocking shop in Krakow?? [6]

There's a cheap shop to do your phone at the top of Karmalicka just doiwn on the otherside of the road from Bagatela upstairs -green sign outside if I remember.

Polish lessons - just go around and check out the schools (Glossa on dietla, but your better of putting aprivate advert on gumtree for swapsy lessons with someone who wants to learn English) if the teachers are older than 30 don't bother - they live in the past of Poland and need to understand that what they teach you no one uses bc it's ancient.

Life / DUI first time in Poland [13]

They have their priorities way out of proportion - I have seen and know of more people breathalyzed on their bikes even when walking with their bikes.

This is Poland - you cannot influence things you cannot change.

if you don't like it you know what you can do.

Study / British Council for Celta, Warsaw [8]

Listen To Amer Teacher - he /she is spot on.

I have been here in Poland 7 years did my CELTA at IH in Krakow where it is now done at BC.
It's all about how good your lecturers are.
I highly recommend doing it in Krakow then moving to Warsaw as there is an abundance of jobs here unlike Krakow where I go to play on weekend instead :)
