Love / Polish Catholic girl - do you have the same relationship problem as me? [28]

Sorry to hear that ur parents are putting pressure on u.I guess you should be careful on this matter.marry someone that you will be happy for the rest of ur life.since u r born in Canada, you are a canadian not polish,so try to convince your parents that you can marry a catholic but not necessarily a polish man. If u do find a polish man from Poland, make sure he understands English very well,to avoid misunderstandings in the future of ur relationship.good luck

Life / Tell me more about Poland's culture [13]

Congratulations kevvy.well,I must say good luck to u.have been to Poland before?well, let me share my experience about my inlaws.my husband and I,we travel to Poland 2-3 times a year since we have been together (last 6 years) and they come to visit us 2-3 times in the year for easter, summer and christmas.but after an argument with my bossy sister in law and as I am outspoken,I found out that my in laws hates me... I like them a lot but they are bloody hypocrite to me.I do everything to please them, never visited them empty hands but I sincerely think coz I'm not polish, they never accepted me.I am learning polish,I learn how to make polish foods, every festival is done in polish way.but my husband and I,we r the bad sheeps in the family.

Now for my baby, they want him to speak only polish.for me,its rubbish.we live in uk,he can speak both English n polish.but,my sis in law who has big control over my husband is always right.you know since I discovered how my in laws are with me,I don't want to go and live in Poland.I like Poland but I can only compromise for short visit.

I love my husband and I know he loves his family but I really wish he could stick up for me.
I hope you are doing the right move to Poland and you have a lovely husband and in laws who will support u.

This is why I want to know the polish culture,I want to make an effort to understand the culture

Law / PAKISTANI marrying a Polish Girl [23]

Raxa, some people on this forum are very judgemental.if ur polish girlfriend is willing to marry you whether u r legal or illegal, don't worry about those who are nasty to u.I can't help u on ur query but I wish u good luck. N raxa don't b offended with the next thing I'm going to say.

And for those who think that polish women are not after money, then why do u think it will b a sham marriage.clearly show that some polish women are after money whether to earn it in the good way or not.

Love / My Polish Relationship Marriage ..story to be told. [USA/PL] [34]

Did she keep personal contact with her patient? You can get her strike off from the nursing register.nurses are not allowed to breach confidentiality, maintain personal relationship with patient and she is very unprofessional.shame on such kind of woman, heartless and ungrateful.

Love / Annoying sister-in-law of my Polish hubby [30]

thanks all for these advices, i am sick and tired of telling my husband to stand up and do something but as usual, his family is right and i am to be blamed.the other day in an argument, he told me his family doesnot like me, so i told him....its fine with me, i don't have to tolerate their nonsense from now on.i know anything good i will do your sister will always prove me wrong and gossip about me to the rest of the family. anyway, he noticed that i don't give a **** about them anymore.his sister has no husband, has a child out of an affair with a married man,and the whole family worships her like god.... i don't regret to call her a B**** even though i apologised to her afterwards.

my husband can't stand up for me in front of his godly sister. i think as KUKU said, i think they are jealous of me, ihave a highly paid profession, i don't depend on husband money, i have my own place, car and i am pretty. whenever i go to poland, his aunty says in polish that i am like a MADAM...i dont know what she mean by that but for sure i am not of their class.

Love / Annoying sister-in-law of my Polish hubby [30]

before we got married, my husband never showed me that behaviour. always i was everything for him.but few months before marriage, my husband moved in my place, then also, everything was great.after marriage everything changed. his sister has to know about everything we do, where we were going on holidays and at times she wanted to come with us too.and my husband just listens to her blindly. everything was according to what his sister wants. and if i objected, in Poland his family is awared of what is going on in my house and in our life.seriously, i visited his family only once before marriage and they were so nice to me but after marriage, everything change.my sister in law has given me a very bad image in that family. also, after marraiage, i found out that my husband gives money everymonth to his sister. on top of that, he is also paying a loan for her sister, that he himself doesnot know what was the loan for.

but as i say, some polish women can break marriage of others just for their benefits. my husband is blind in their love.but i love him truly and i want to be with him, i hope he will realise this one day.

Real Estate / Land dilemma - registering land and properties in Poland [8]

Hi,I need some advices here. Here is the story and it is about land heritage from grandparents. After the death of grandmother, the youngest aunty said that grandmother has signed the will and gave her her house, lands and the farm.grandmother was uneducated and can't even write her name, how can she signed? We don't know as aunty never and will not show the documents.my questions are if someone can help: is there somewhere in Poland where lands and properties are registered legally and can we find out as a third person? I mean maybe a government bureau where we can contact. and if we can find out about the owner of lands and properties, how do we get to contact the office in regards of this matter...any help highly appreciated.
