Anyway, the "think of the baby" or "hang 'em high" lot are ones for using emotive language. If they can bandy about such emotive terms as "baby" and "murder", why not add "parasite" into the mix? If anything it just livens up the debate ;)

Either way, I've never wanted children, much to the disappointment of my Mother-in-law. People have been telling me my whole life (since the age of 5 - I knew then) that I'd change my mind. I found that rather offensive. I haven't changed my mind yet.

I think the ability to survive independently is a pretty good starting point. Either way most abortions happen in the first eight weeks when the foetus is about as big as a raspberry and looks like a tadpole. I doubt it could survive independently or is capable of any kind of thought process.

LOL at the people (mainly men, I presume) wanting to force women through unwanted bodily trauma. These people claim they are in it for the "benefit of the child" and usually think that it somehow benefits the mother in the long term too. This faux Trisha Goddard/Jeremy Kyle impersonation of "Won't SOMEBODY think of likkle baby" needs to stop.

When the pregnancy is completed most unwanted babies will go through their lives in the hell-holes otherwise known as Polish orphanages where this child receives minimal contact,and minimal socialisation, and no love - because its simply not affordable to the state.

If the child doesn't end up in the orphanage it will end up with a mother who neither wants it or loves it (and in fact will probably look on it with some kind of resentment), and a mother complete with brand new mental health issues due to this forced trauma. Statistics also show the child will probably end up living a life of poverty with very little hope, and will also acquire their own psychological issues.

My question to the anti abortion advocates for Poland is (and I truly want this answered) If you give so much of a hoot about the unwanted children's lives in Poland how regularly do you give to charities that provide care for children in Polish orphanages? How often do you physically help struggling mothers with mental health issues?

If, as I suspect, the answer is "never" you can stop being so evangelical about the situation. You have brought suffering to two lives in the world, where there would have been none. You prove by actions how much you care, not by words and your actions prove you are causing more pain in the world than you would like to believe. It also proves that this issue is purely about control!

Shame on the Sejm, really. Have they upped the budget for women dealing with trauma? Have they upped the budget for orphanages? No? Then it's about control and nothing more. Stupid control based on a fairy tale, and forced down our throats by a religion we neither believe or care for.

If I were to ever become preganat whilst I'm living here, I'd be on the 1st flight back to the UK to expel the unwanted parasite feeding off my body. If that's shocking then tough - not unless you'd be willing to maintain my child for life, pay for the birth, and provide me with the years of psychological treatment I'd no doubt need after being forced to go through such a thing - and probably my child's too. "Won't somebody think of the likkle baby"? - indeed!

And for those nutters that still bandy about murder as if it has some kind of meaning in this situation, the word "murder" has a clear definition and is not just subject to what you reckon it means. Just to clear up a common error:

I'm slightly jealous of the Poles.

I wish there were a country I could go to and earn three times the national average salary doing menial work. I'd do exactly the same: save like buggery, live like a pauper, and then go home rich and buy a massive flat.

The Poles I met in London were there on a mission, and they were mainly hard working and dedicated. Don't think for a second that if the British couldn't find a country that would accommodate them for a while and pay them a ton of money for unskilled work, that they wouldn't be doing exactly the same thing.

I don't blame them, it's a smart move economically for the Poles. There are of course bigger concerns for the working classes of the UK whom seem to be being stomped in the face government after government, but that is not the Poles fault - and there are plenty of Brits that can't see that unfortunately.

Have you read any of the comments under either of the articles you have linked to, or the comments in the original linked article? There's no mention of race... but there are a lot of people that seem to be pissed off with the US military presence, or Americans in general.

The truth is, American policy makers do not help their image abroad, and as far as I'm aware the Poles aren't exactly happy being taken into wars for oil and being on the shite end of American "greencard" policies. The US military are the face of the US government. It's not surprising therefore that a couple of uneducated drunken civilians attack the face of the US military. Not everyone in Europe loves the US presence here, and the uneducated certainly cannot tell the difference between the government and its people, or the people serving in their military.

I have some friends studying medicine in Krakow. They say the course provided isn't great, but if you're studying there the lessons are supplementary to your course and you don't have to pay for them.

What can we do? Boycott them, I suppose, until the schools realise they are missing a trick. I met a guy who's "teaching" me Polish, in exchange for English conversation. He's an English teacher himself, so he knows how to teach. I'd love to be able to learn Polish properly for reasonable rates, I just happen not to be a millionaire (like most westerners my age..... The Glossa prices are (for a class of 8) 2180zl for 60 hours , which works out at 36zl per hour, or £7 per hour to learn Polish in Poland. They also have a 50E registration fee.

Polish language schools charge roughly 19zl per hour in Krakow to learn English, or £4 per hour to learn English in Poland.

Students wanting to study Polish here should bare in mind that Polish is NOT a foreign language in Poland, and that earnings here are one third of what they are in the UK, and that in affect all of these language schools are ripping us off. Time to say no!

Polish schools need to realise that they don't just cater for "rich foreigners"... most of their students wanting to learn Polish actually live and work in Poland and earn Polish wages. Their classes need to be priced accordingly.

Language schools like Accent, Glossa, Prolog which teach Polish to Foreigners are ripping us off and deluded. What a joke! A well priced Polish school would find themselves making a ton of cash, from all of us English speakers who are not rolling in it and need to learn Polish to survive here.

Your employer (or you) need to pay income tax and national insurance (ZUS).

You can get a ZUS number (called a NIP) by asking for a NIP7 form at the tax office, akthough this form is only if you are the employee. Self employed people need a different form, but I don't know which one.

a) your hair covers most of your bone structure and we can't see your face shape
b) the photo is too overexposed and we cant see any facial definition
c) which is compounded by the fact that you are clearly wearing quite a bit of foundation (not because you have bad skin - but because as someone who spent a lot of time working in a design company who regularly worked with professional photos of people - I can tell)

d) your eye-liner is accentuating the inner part of your eye, which distorts/accentuates them to the viewer.

Sorry... something went wrong with my maths. I meant 1200 zl for 45 hours teaching time.

It works out as about £5 per hour per student.

When you consider that in the school I was teaching in, in the most expensive part of London, was charging £2.60 per hour in the afternoon for 50 hours a week (and £1 per hour if you booked yourself in for a whole year) it does work out as expensive.

Especially since all the teachers at the school were at least CELTA grade B qualified, some with DELTAs, and some with MAs.
