UK, Ireland / British - Stupidest nation in Europe [127]

The "Single Mummy" epidemic is bleeding this country dry.

Most are British of course, but more and more Eastern Europeans are cashing in on it now.

Polish fertility rates are higher than the average Brit. I think the money goes to their head.
Maternity Grant of £500 - If on Benefits, which they usually are!
Giving birth is free on the NHS (Have to pay in Poland)

There's hundreds of "I'm Heavily Pregnant, i'm going to anglii to give birth, where do i claim the benefits" threads on the Polish e-mama.pl forums.

No smoke without fire.

There's thousands and thousands of Polish mummies in the UK sponging of the state just like the native Brits are.

Take a look at this.. 194billion on "Social Protection" incidentally the largest piece of the pie.

I'd hazard a guess it's not the dole layabouts living on 50 quid a week in their mums basement, but rather the single mummies in council houses, tax credits,

We certainly don't need the foreigners coming over here and behaving like this as well.

Social Welfare was originally setup to support the vulnerable and low income families.

Now it's seen as a right.

In normal countries having a baby is a very real financial consideration.
Here young girls just let any old unemployed loser spunk up them with no fear of real consequence. It's just a way to get a house and some free money.

Ok for arguments sake I'll agree. Britain isn't for the British anymore. (Roll eyes)

But this countries wealth and prosperity is created by the British people. The second the majority of this population is Polish, Pakistani or Somalian is the second this place is an exact replica of the **** holes they ran away from.

The lucky immigrants that are already here, also best pray that the door is soon closed.

Why the stupid question??? We all know what kind of places the likes of India, Somalia & Nigeria are.

Poland, Lithuania less so.... however the average wage is 300 quid. Nuff said.

It wont in the UK! Non EU immigration exceeds EU migration into the UK.

Wrong.

I don't want to repatriate anyone. It'd be wrong and mess peoples lives up if we started deporting people..

Just close the door is all i want.

There's more EU immigrants flooding here per year than the non-EU.

The Poles have overcome the number of the Pakistanis in the space of less than 10 years. We'll never know really how many EU immigrants are here but I'd guess well over a million.

Bradford turned into a Paki-Fest in 20 years.

The Poles invaded Peterborough in half the time.

Tip of the iceberg.

RevokeNice you're an odd one indeed. Your country is being bled dry by the Poles and other EU migrants as well.
And the Romanians will come to Ireland as well in 2014.

Take a look at this popular Polish news website: wiadomosci.onet.pl/regionalne/regiony.html

Look down the left hand side, on the 'Regions' list.

W. Brytania i Irlandia

Our country is a region of Poland now in their eyes.
Every year that goes by are thousands of graduates and school leavers in Poland - Where do they come? Mostly here.
Families are embedding down, and making roots which facilitates friends and other family members easily coming here and settling.
Only takes 3 months worth of NI contributions for the Polish single mummies to come and screw the system for a free life.

I can even point you to forum links advising people on how to bring their disabled parents/grandparents over and claim disability benefits for them. - I kid you not!

UK, Ireland / Unemployed Poles in Ireland : a crash course in milking the system [323]

Every nation will have a percentage of criminality, and a percentage of welfare dependents. They're our problem, and we deal with them.
What we don't need are FOREIGNERS coming here and doing the same.

I'd rather live amongst 100 British people on the dole, who share the same culture and language as myself. Rather than aload of Polish parasites, who are foreign in every way imaginable keeping themselves to themselves, watching POLSAT in their homes, only shopping at Polski Sklep.

I cannot say much about customs or taps but Eastern Europeans are very different to us Brits.

They're more strict, serious and

Go to a shop in Poland and the atmosphere between you and the shop assistant would be erie, quiet and work-centric.

In Britain you'd probably strike up some random conversation with the staff. When i worked in customer service years ago, my manager always badgered me to ask how the customers are etc. Quite tiering after a while haha

You like 99.99% of Poles/Foreigners base your opinion and views of this country on which ever dirt infested immigrant cesspit in which you find the cheapest room.

You work crap jobs, take benefits so of course you're gonna be living in the ****** city slums among your fellow immigrants.

I live in a nice town by the sea, vast majority of the people are British, crime is low, streets are clean and tourists are aplenty ;)

I was expecting at least some semi-intelligent banter back. Accusing me of being a scrounger on benefits is getting tiresome now. And even if i was a scrounger i'd be 100% within my rights to do so, being a British citizen.

Oh Hudders... if you actually had ever been to Poland, you'd know that the 'banter' here is far more natural and prolonged than in the UK.

I've been more places you could ever imagine, i was in the Navy for 6 years...

Yes i've been to Poland, Gdansk.. i've also been to Prague, Tallinn and countless other European destinations.

Amsterdam more than once ;)

"irlandia & brytanii" are now very prominent piece of Polish folklore throughout the country. The entire Polish population knows about the fruits and benefits of the Islands.

Yes, The Islands is a common term for our country's. mojawyspa.co.uk

The huge influx in such a short space of time, less than 10 years has facilitated the ghetto experience more than the Pakistanis or Indians could have ever dreamed of.

The average Polish Immigrant, will flock to where the Poles are at, find employment, register a national insurance. Forming another little piece of the Sub-Community within out country.

Watching POLSAT TV at home, shopping exclusively at Polski Sklep, Polish bars and pubs are popping up, Polish Kindergarten. Services can be found in the form of Polski Salon, Polish Plumbers, Polish

The only thing British they're interested in are Benefits, Social Housing & health-care. Even then, they'll still moan and complain.

What these Eastern-Bloc hillbillies are essentially doing, is creating a little Poland with our infrastructures and services.

Have you seen the way Poles drive?
Similar to most post-communist nations, you'd have to travel to east Asia to find poorer standards.

"Overtaking" people though the middle of a single carriageway road is normal in Poland. Just pray the guy comming the otherway moves over.

Wroclaw Boy, you seem pretty clued up..

Check out the Polish forums, i kid you not. they're obsessed with British benefits, discussing it at every opportunity.

mojawyspa.co.uk/forum/76/Zasilki-i-swiadczenia-socjalne

Government austerity searching again goes back to the benefits. We are now considering the option of freezing for two years amount of benefits which will bring the State billions in profits.

The Conservative Party has found a new source of savings - is considering freezing for two years the amount of social benefits. Currently, most benefits increasing in parallel with inflation, ie for example. for this year unemployment benefits are higher by 5.2 percent, you can not say the same about the salaries of employees, which are either frozen, or if are growing, it is often below the level of inflation - this year, experts expect the average increase in the limit of 2.1 per cent. And it just happened to be a reference point for the Tories.

According to conservatives, it is not acceptable that the increase in social benefits are more than two times higher - higher than the increase in salaries of employees. - Given that many employed people have barely enough money for life, we have to ask whether it is fair that people on benefits received more than employees - said Prime Minister David Cameron.

UK, Ireland / Should UK Poles be forced to attend English language courses? [10]

Interesting Post by a lady here

mojawyspa.co.uk/forum/76/43266/Jobcenter,0

The google translated version of her post is:

is this normale of the courses are sending Poles who speak English poorly? what is the point? if you do not understand half of what they try to knock me to the head? most in this irritates me is that if you do not I finish my course zabiorom allowance ... Apart from the fact that I have to walk on the course and at the same time 50 hours a week to look for work spreading cv ..

Basically, she is not happy about the Job Centre sending her to English courses.. She's claiming benefits btw.

What do you think?

UK, Ireland / Do the poles like British culture [127]

Not really....

There's a minority of good Immigrant Poles here, who behave like guests in our country and integrate well. Usually these people are well educated and/or working amongst the British and other nationalities.

The rest are just peasants... in income, and in mentality.

Working in factories amongst their own kind. They rarely associate or make friends with British people. These are the same ones that shop exclusively at Polski Sklep, only drink Polish Beer and scour online forums seeking their local Polish Mechanic or Polish Salon.

UK, Ireland / Poles leave Britain to return to Poland [89]

What utter garbage.

Why would anyone leave this country to earn 200 quid in Poland when they can earn more sat on benefits in council housing??
Some are even making arrangements to ship their elderly/disabled parents over here.

There must be exceptional circumstances why any Pole would move here then go back.

Yes very patriotic. But visiting is enough, flights are cheap. Most families come over anyway.. like i said we have many elderly Poles here scrounging of us.
